Puli is a 20 year old Red Moss Fox. She is nonbinary and uses she/her or he/him pronouns interchangeably. Puli is strictly 18+ and is not beginner friendly.
Appearance Smaller than your average fox, Puli is the perfect size to curl up in a lap, or fit in a medium sized purse. Due to ~spatial problems~ of traveling between planes, Puli’s actual size cannot be pinned down. She’s small, but the exact measurements will change every now and then.
He is covered in soft red fur with a white underbelly. Her fur is shorter than most to account for the layer of soft red moss that covers most of his body. Especially on her head, back, and paws, the soft spongy material grows from his skin and covers her fur. It is not the red/brown of the sporophyte as we see here on earth, but rather both sporophyte and gametophyte stages of the moss.
Personality Puli is an incredibly cautious soul. She spends hours to days researching something before attempting to do it. He likes to have plans and probably won’t go through with it if there is a chance that the plans could be upset or change. He airs on the side of caution every time.
Once he can trust you and the environment, Puli is a cuddly sweet heart. She loves to snuggle up and nap on people. Physical affection is perfect, but she loves to make gifts or provide other forms of affection as well. Puli just has so much overflowing love for those who care for her as well. She’s a big ole sucker for platonic and familial relationships. Reading fluffy stories or stories with big found family tropes are her shit and he adores those stories so much.
When time calls for it, Puli can be serious, but would rather put effort in beforehand to avoid any and all situations where a serious demeanor is absolutely required. Really though, even though he may not look it, being in an upbeat and even silly environment is the place that Puli likes the best. Not anything like bouncing off the walls crazy, but just a soft comedian, no stress area.
Companionship Puli would like a companion who is already experienced in spirit work and doesn’t have much to learn in the ways of communicating or sensing him. She would prefer a calm environment, or at least a predictable one. He is looking for companionship for his own found family trope story, being the dreamer that he is.

Pronouns: She/Her
Age: 35 years
Appearance: V is a tall woman. In her humanoid form she stands at about 6 foot 3 inches. Her body is almost pure muscle. She has thick silver-white-grey hair chopped into a short bob with two longer clumps of hair braided and extending to her lower back. Sometimes she will pin up the braids to form buns. Hidden in her hair are two rounded snow leopard ears. Unless one looks closely they are very hard to see. She has round pale yellow eyes much like her animal forms with cat-like pupils rather than round human ones.
In her leopard form she is a graceful and large snow leopard with thick fur and large paws.
Her tiger form is similar to her leopard form, except this form is in fact, a tiger.
Personality: She is usually very bubbly woman. Unlike the species of her animal sides, she is very social and likes to be around others, though she does require some alone time. She is very outgoing and will make friends easily. V seems to like cheering people up when they are down.

Tips for the Dark Half of the Year
Winter is coming quickly. A lot of people see this time of year as bleak, depressing, or just boring. Here are some tips to stay attuned to nature during these months.
❄️ Go outside. Even if it’s cold, the trees are bare, and the only colors are muted and dull. We often think that summer is the only time to enjoy the outdoors—the only time to hike, meditate outside, etc. In winter, there are no lush green trees or balmy days filled with sunshine and the smell of flowers. While summer is intoxicating, winter is a time to contemplate and reflect. Go outside. Feel the cold. Feel the mud and the dead grass and the chilly wind. Listen to how quiet it is. Understand that the dark half of the year is a time of silence, stillness, and death. It’s natural to have an aversion to these things, but take some time to sit down and just listen. Breathe. Feel the reality of silence and death around you. It’s a sobering experience, but also a very insightful one. If you have any fear of death or quiet, now is the time to go sit with those things as they appear in nature and just meditate with them.
❄️ Eat cozy foods. It’s cold outside—warm up with hearty soups, stews, homemade bread, and root veggies. Warm spices and hot drinks will keep you feeling grounded. This is a wonderful time of year to practice kitchen witchcraft—focus on coziness, family, protection, and rest.
❄️ Study magic! The Dark Half of the year is devoted to self-reflection, rest, and contemplation. Snuggle up indoors with a fluffy blanket and devote some time to studying magic and witchcraft with a hot cup of magically-brewed tea.
❄️ Think spirits are sleeping along with all the greenery? Think again! The Dark Half of the year, in many cultures and spiritual traditions, is considered extremely spiritually active. Deities like Odin, Berchta, Hekate, and spirits such as elves and ghosts are very active this time of year. You can choose to honor them if you want, or practice various spirit-working techniques. If you’re into necromancy or divination, this is a wonderful time of year for those things.
❄️ Be kind to local wildlife by installing things like bird feeders outside your home. We modern humans may have an easy time of it in winter, but animals struggle to survive during these months. Any bit of kindness will be much appreciated.
❄️ Nurture your fire energy. During winter, it’s easy to internalize the cold and take on its characteristics—sluggishness, sleepiness, a foggy-headed feeling. Some crystals that are great for winter include golden rutilated quartz (aka Venus hair), citrine, carnelian, obsidian, and garnet. All of these crystals contain a strong fire element as well as offer grounding qualities, mental clarity, and protection.
❄️ Go out and forage for magical ingredients! Melted snow is extremely purifying and can be incorporated into spells for purification and cleansing. Icicles can serve as temporary wands, especially in spells that require a strong water element. The ash from bonfires (or hearth fires) can be used to make black salt. Fallen branches can be crafted into wands. There may be nothing growing this time of year, but you can get creative and still find magical ingredients in unexpected places. Just be respectful and don’t collect from places where it’s illegal!
This is by no means a comprehensive list—these are just some ways I’ve celebrated the colder months. I hope they’re helpful in any way!

Zeus - King of the gods and mortals, king of the heavens who ruled over the clouds, winds, rain, thunder and lightning. God of law, order, justice, and divine witness to oaths. The eagle is his sacred animal.
Hera - Queen of the gods and mortals, protector of women, marriage, maternity, family, the sky and the stars of heaven. The peacock and cow are her sacred animals.

Asteria -Goddess who presided over the night, stars and nocturnal prophecy. She was the mother of the goddess Hecate.After the fall of the Titans Asteria was pursued by Zeus and but leapt into the sea to escape him where she was transformed into the island of Delos.
Astraeus - God of the stars, the winds, and the art of astrology. He was the father of the four directional winds and the five wandering stars (the Planets).

Crius - God of the heavenly constellations and the measure of the year. Associated with the constellation Aries. He was later cast into the Tartarean pit by Zeus. Crius was sometimes named as a leader of the Gigantes who rebelled against the rule of Zeus.
Cronus - The King of the Titans, originally an agricultural god and a god of time. He led his brothers in the ambush and castration of their father Uranus, but was himself deposed and cast to tartarus from his own son Zeus. In one story he fled to Latium ( Rome ) and was worshiped as the god Saturn.
Curetes - A group of shield clashing Titan gods who came to the aid of Rhea to act as guardians of her son Zeus.
Dione - Prophetic goddess who presided over the Oracle at Dodona alongside Zeus.
Eos - The Goddess of the dawn. She was the mother of the wandering stars (that is, the planets) and the four directional winds by the Titan Astraeus.
Epimetheus - The Titan god of afterthought. He was appointed with the task of creating the beasts of the earth.
Eurybia- Goddess of the power of the sea.
Eurynome - Goddess of earth’s flowery meadows. She was the mother of the three lovely Graces by Zeus.
Hecate / Hekate - Goddess of the new moon, crossroads ( figuratively & literally ), protector of the home, childbirth, magic, spirits and potions. She supported Zeus in the Titan war and so retained all of her privileges. She was given dominion over all three realms: The Heavens, The Earth and Seas. Her sacred animals are dogs serpents, frogs, horses and black cats.
Helios - God of the sun. He rides across the sky in a chariot drawn by four fiery, winged steeds. He was an ally of Zeus in the Titan-War. The brother of Selene.
Hemera - Goddess of daylight.
Hyperion - Old god of light, and of the cycles of time measured by the lights of heaven – the sun, the moon and the dawn. Hyperion was one of the four brother Titans who held Uranus fast while Cronus castrated him with the sickle. At the end of the Titan War he was cast into the pit of Tartarus by Zeus.
Iapetos - God of mortality and the allotment of the mortal life-span. he was cast into the Tartarean pit by Zeus at the end of the Titan War.
Lelantos - The Titan god of the breezes of the air.
Leto - Goddess of motherhood, light, and womanly demure. She was the mother of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis by Zeus.

This is magenta, and not pink. Unlike pink, magenta doesn’t actually exist. Our brain just invents magenta to serve as what it considers a logical bridge between red and violet, which each exist at opposite ends of a linear spectrum.

Your brain is a badly-designed hot mess of bootstrapped chemistry that will tell you that all kinds of shit is happening that has no correlation to physical reality, including time travel. It just makes things up. Your brain is guessing about what’s happening when your eyes saccade, what’s happening in your blind spot, and what the majority of the visible light spectrum looks like, and you don’t know it’s happening because it doesn’t aid your survival to become aware that a lot of what you see is fake.
The human eye only has three types of color sensitive cones, which detect red, blue, and green light. Your brain is making up every other color you perceive.
Let’s have a little fun with that thought. This is the visible spectrum of light.
You will of course note that yellow is on the chart. Yellow has a discreet wavelength, and is therefore a distinct physical color. But we can’t see it.
“Sorry, what the fuck?”
What we call yellow is just what our brain shrugs and spits out when our red and green cones are equally stimulated. We have light receptors that can pick up on the physical spectrum of light we call yellow: that’s why yellow things don’t just look like moving black blocks to us. But your brain has no fucking idea what the color yellow looks like.
Some animals have eyes that can perceive the color yellow! Goldfish have a yellow cone in their eyes. If they could talk, they could tell us what yellow looks like. But we wouldn’t be able to understand it.
What your brain actually sees of the color spectrum:
We can measure the wavelength of light, so we know that when we see ‘yellow,’ we are seeing light in that 550-ish nanometers range. But we don’t have a cone in our eyes that can pick that up. Your brain just has a very consistent guess about what color that wavelength of light could be. We decided to name that guess ‘yellow.’ We can’t imagine what yellow really looks like any more than a dog can imagine the color red.
Here’s the funny thing: your brain is never perceiving just one photon of light at a time. Something like 2*10⁸ photons per second are hitting your retina under normal conditions. Your brain doesn’t individually process all of them. So it averages them out. It grabs a bunch of photons all coming from the same direction, with the same pattern, and goes, “yeah, that cup is blue, fuck it, next.”
That’s how colors blend in our eyes. So sure, if a photon of light with a wavelength of 550 nanometers bounces into our eyes, we see what we call “yellow.” But if we see two photons at the same time, coming from the same object, one of which is 500 nms and the other of which is 600 nms, your brain will average them out and you will still see yellow even though none of the light you just saw was 550 nms.
So how does magenta factor into this?
Well, as we’ve just established, when your brain sees light from two different slices of the visible light spectrum, it will try to just average them together. Green plus red is yellow, fuck it. If it’s more red than green, we’ll call that ‘orange.’ Literally who gives a shit, we’re trying to forage over here. There are bears out here and it’s so scary.
What happens if you take the average of blue and red light, which we perceive to be magenta? What’s the centerpoint of that line?
Fucking green.
Hey, that’s not gonna work? We live on a planet where EVERYTHING IS GREEN. If something is NOT green, that means it’s either food, or a potential source of danger, and either way your brain wants you to know about it.
So your brain goes, WHOOPS. Okay - this is fine. We already made up yellow, orange, cyan, and violet. We’ll just make up another color. Something that looks really, really different from green.
And so it made up magenta.
So, physics-wise, is magenta “real?”
No; there’s no single wavelength of light that corresponds to magenta. But you’re rarely seeing only a single wavelength of light anyway. And even when you are, every color other than RGB is a dart thrown on the wall by your meat computer. This is the CIE Chromaticity Diagram:
Explaining this thing is a little more than I want to take on on a Saturday morning, but I’ve included a link above that goes into it a little more. The point is that only the colors that actually touch the ‘outline’ of the shape actually correspond to a specific wavelength of light. All of the other colors are blends of multiple wavelengths. So magenta isn’t special.
Given that color is just a fun trick your brain is playing on you to help you find food and avoid danger, is magenta real?
Yeah, absolutely. Or at least, it’s just as real as most of what we see. It’s what we see when we mix up blue and red. It would be disastrous from a survival standpoint to perceive that color as green, so we don’t. Because it’s not green. Light that’s green has a wavelength of around 510 nm. Stuff that’s magenta bounces back light that is both ~400 and ~700. Your brain knows the difference. So it fills in the gap for you, with the best guess it has, same as it does with your blind spot.
The perception of color exists within your brain, and your brain says you see magenta. So you see magenta.
