Also...I'm sorry I went mia for a bit there. But tbh my Nicole musing hasn't really been here. None of my Genshin musing's been here. So I think it's best I just step back a bit and come back when they're refreshed. Not sure when that will be.

Alice stared at the sleeping Nicole before her from the bedside. In her hands she held a small letter. Her expression carried a mix of love and remorse. As much as she wanted to kiss the slumbering angel on the cheek Alice worried it might rouse her from slumber. She settled instead on bringing the letter in her hands up to her lips and sealing it with a kiss before placing it on the nightstand. She turned and made her way to the door, being gentle with every last step. Before leaving Alice looked back one more time, frowned, let out a sigh, and then smiled instead.

 ❝It's a shame you'll be awake before I get back Nico. I do so look forward to watching those beautiful gems of yours flutter open.❞ She whispered before carefully closing the door behind her.

 The letter she had left behind read as follows:

 My Dear Sweet Nico,

 If I'm not eagerly watching you read this then I'm probably still out shopping. A shame because I'd been hoping to see your reaction in real time. For that reason among many I hope I make it back in time. 

 Forever is a measure of time akin to grasping smoke with your bare hands. It's a promise of the heart that the impossible will be made manifest. An oath everlasting. The warmth it brings me that I get to cherish you forever would keep me warm in the harshest of winter. It washes over me with the same gentleness of the morning twilight.

 When you smile at me my ears always twitch. I'm sure you've noticed. Your smile lights up rooms, it compels me to move. To take you into my arms, laugh, and dance like there's no care in the world! You're every bit as enchanting now as you were lifetimes ago and I wouldn't trade any of your charm for the world. Nor would I ever lock it all away for myself. All the things bright and beautiful that comprise your whole being are things I want the whole universe to love.

 My favorite things are the parts of yourself you consider your flaws. Why? Flaws and imperfections are the proof we carry that show how human we are! They're the parts of ourselves that allow us to grow, change, evolve, and flourish. Without them, we would stagnate. So as I stare at you and write this I see the most brilliant of diamonds illuminated by the rising sun. Someone so precious that I have the ultimate joy of loving and being loved in return by.

Nicole can in fact cook. And in fact....tends to eat and perhaps make spicy foods. It's a skill she picked up in her long, long life to be honest.

Hm...She honestly has a lot of regrets. However I think one of her biggest regrets would be that she wasn't there with the rest of her sisters. I know people might think otherwise-but to be honest, a person who dared to even think of naming the HP isn't someone who doesn't hold a lot of emotions towards everything that happened to her and her sisters.

Does your muse want children?

I think, after the apparently limited interactions with Klee ( as apparently stated in her voice lines ), she might at times wonder what it'd be like to have children. But...she's aware she has a tendency to ramble on about topics...children might not like per say. It also doesn't help that she was tending to people of all ages before everything went to shit...some odd 6k years ago. Answering any questions they had to the best of her abilities and such. Children are either the smartest things or...not. xD That said, she's not certain if she even can.

What's your muses love language?

Hmm. The girl loves writing and sculpture so much I think these are some of her biggest signs of loving someone. Writing for them or even with them. Or sculpting something for them or with them. But I think the biggest, biggest sign? Is actually letting you near her back, given how sensitive her back is and it is where her wings are.

What's a song that you feel fits your muse?

Oh God. Trying to pick a song out for her is..hard. I am actually having a bit of trouble. Because there's multiple, depending on context and such. Am I allowed to come back to this one? ....Though. I say that and I think Heavy is the Crown is a good option for her, to be honest. Lyric / meaning wise, at least, when you think about everything she went through and phanes just deciding to drop shit.

  Nicole's reactions were absolutely adorable and proving well worth the long wait. So much time had gone by, so much forced correspondence through secret letters and encrypted emails from dummy accounts. All of the distance a necessity after a man they trusted, a man that even held her daughter, had destroyed every good thing Alice and those dear to her had built. Yet he'd made one mistake; he'd let every last one of them get away after taking satisfaction in ruining them. A woman scorned was one thing, but he didn't just scorn one woman. He drew the wrath of multiple, and one of these women were a mother where his actions threatened her child. So she did what any brilliant person with a vendetta would. Alice played the long game. While everyone else quietly rebuilt all over the world alongside her the witch set the foundation with which the warpath would tread. Patiently biding her time until it was time to retaliate.

  It took six thousand years. Six thousand. Just for them to fully rebuild their lives, their careers, their homes, and their safe spaces. Alice still remembered that unpleasant day clearly. They destroyed everything Phanes had come to stand for, but he himself had managed to slink away and cover his tracks just as cleanly as they had. Most importantly they'd cleared their names. That was months ago now and as much as she wanted to apologize for the unrecognizable monster she was that day… Now wasn't the time.

  Alice shook her head and returned her focus to Nicole who was far more important to her than that black mark on life. This was the first time she'd gotten to see Nicole after all these months of clean up and there was a personal checklist she had in mind with branching paths depending on how things went. First she'd put her heart even more on her sleeve than she already did and propose. Since that was already successful she'd initiate the next step in her flow chart plans. Sweep Nicole off her feet completely and honestly.

  ❝Nico~!❞ Alice chimed as she hugged onto Nicole. After a moment she took the other woman at the waist, picked her up and spun as she properly held onto her. ❝I've wanted to hear those four words for so long Nico! I feel absolutely reignited hearing them!❞

  As supercharged as she was, Alice made sure to let Nicole down and stop before either one of them got dizzy or sick from her actions.

It  took  six  thousand  years  for  them  all  to  recover,  and  in  the  mist  of  that  they  lost  two  of  their  own. 

           So  of  course  the  angel  had  her  grievances.  Of  course  Alice  had  her  grievances  amongst  other  feelings  (  Nicole  doubted  it  was  simply  grief  given  things  ),  as  well.  Many  good  things  had  come  about--Albedo  and  Durin's  existences,  a  certain  wolf  and  his  hare  was  among  them…barbie's  tarot  readings  have  taken  the  populace  by  a  storm.  Nicole's  sculptures  have  taken  a  new  level-both  physically  and  digitally.  Alice  already  have  her  beloved  Klee  and  Kleiner  in  her  life--but  she  had  even  more  things  going  on  that  only  added  in  her  favor,  last  Nicole  heard.  Rhin….well.  She  was  off  to  her  own  things.  Octavia  was  still  traveling  about-but  her  books  were  heard  of  far  and  wide. 

As  were  the  rest  of  theirs,  of  course.  Despite  this  now  voiceless  angel,  her  words  had  reached.

           And  now  here  they  were,  in  much  happier  times,  and  Nicole  couldn't  be  more  thankful  for  it.  As  evident  by  the  sparkles  in  Alice's  eyes  from  earlier…and  the  fact  that  the  angel  got  so  lost  in  her  own  thoughts,  that  it  is  her  cheerful  chime  that  brings  her  forth--followed  by  the  warm  embrace  from  her  fiancee.  However,  something  warned  her  in  her  gut  to  prepare--and  lo  and  behold,  Alice  had  lifted  and  spun  her  around--despite  both  of  them  being  nearly  identical  in  height. 

          ❛  I-I..Alice..!  ❜  She  calls  out,  cheeks  tinted  once  more.  She  had  been  waiting  that  long….but  they  all  had,  hadn't  they?

                     ❛  ..I  know.  But  now  you'll  hear  them  a  lot  more…I  promise.  ❜

       this is a pretty big issue for me actually. 

        and not just because it’s really amazing to see what other muses         say, think and feel about your muse when they’re not around but         because I WANT SOME CONTINUITY. i am trying to create a          continuity for my character where everything that isn’t an AU          has feelings and actions making sense depending on a timeline         and people they know and love. actions have consequences.          relationships and events change people. 

        roleplay without that is… well, repetitive… & not very fulfilling to me.

Some long time ago, In Heavenly Principles House, a rather popular and powerful international publishing house, there's word of a group of seven witches--called the Hexenzirkel. Supposedly, these seven 'witches' were writers-writers with unimaginable power and appeal. Reading one of their books had a way of speaking to anyone and everyone in some way, shape, or form-even if it's genre wasn't one someone wasn't particularly found of.

According to rumors, each book is spelled to where once you see the cover, you will just immediately reach for it. You could never put it down. What was worst, was apparently readers of those novels...for some reason, mysteriously vanished out of sight. Reports say they've witnessed some walking walking away-as if stuck in a trance.

But those are just rumors, right?

Just like surely, it's coincidental that the publishing house Hexenzirkel now exists...as rivals of Heavenly Principles House...

Her eyes sparkled like the ruby on her wedding band as a joyful sound raced passed her lips. Without missing a beat Alice took the ring from the box and tenderly slid it onto Nicole's hand. After she had the witch's features held the same soft and warm smile she often had when alone with Kleiner as she stared at the ring. It was sized properly, the colors truly did match the woman before her, and the gemstone... The Moss Agate had been picked because they shared a long history that deeply intertwined them. They'd always been quite harmonious in their frequencies as well. It simply felt correct.

Alice raised Nicole's hand as she shifted her gaze to lock onto the Angel's. As she held her warm gaze in place she gently kissed the other's fingers. Then she gently pulled enough to kiss the top of Nicole's hand. She closed the gap a little more and kissed the other's inner wrist before taking her hand in both of her own to raise the back of her hand to her cheek.

"You're right... I did know." She answered softer tone from her usual bubbly and boisterous one. "I knew, but even though I was ready I could never be sure if you were. All I could hope was that I'd given you all the time you need. Now, you have all the time I could give you in the world."

A pause as she loosened her already soft grip. She did want the other to be able to enjoy looking at the ring on her own finger.

"Now I can say it much more forwardly. I love you Nicole."

           𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐋𝐄  𝐈𝐍  𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄'𝐒  𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒  𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓  𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇  𝐀  𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐄,  𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐄  𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄  𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋'𝐒  𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒.  She  could  sense  the  sheer  amount  of  happiness  off  the  fellow  mage-she's  certain  she'd  be  able  to  tell  it  miles  away,  with  how  it  was  radiating  off  of  her.  Not  that  she  faulted  her  for  it.  If  anything,  she  was  glad  to  see  her  so  jubilant,  and  it  was  contagious-her  own  happiness  swelling  in  this  beating  heart  of  hers.  She  allows  the  other  to  put  the  beautifully  crafted  ring  onto  her,  noticing  a  perfect  fit  on  her  finger.  Nicole  already  knew  the  other  picked  out  this  design  in  careful  consideration.  There  was  meaning  to  her  gem  of  choice  and  the  color  of  the  band,  and  Nicole…admitted  quietly  to  herself  that  it  did  suit  her  and  their  relationship. 

But  of  course  it  did.  They've  known  each  other  for  six  thousands  of  years,  by  now.

            Her  gaze  is  held  by  the  fellow  witch,  as  she  felt  lips  upon  her  fingers.  Her  cheeks  tinted  a  rosey  red,  as  she  then  continued  to  the  top  of  her  hand--her  lips  once  more  pressed  against  her  skin,  and  then  once  more  at  her  inner  wrist.  Nicole  barely  withheld  the  tiny  shiver  that  would've  erupted--now  realizing  just  exactly  how  sensitive  she  was.  She's  not  sure  if  Alice  knew  or  not-but  she  knew  she  hadn't  intended  it…in  this  moment,  in  favor  of  preserving  the  sweet,  gentle  air  of  this  engagement. 

….Engagement…

          ❛  I  had  a  feeling  you  might've  known,  ❜  She  mentally  responds,  yet  her  smile  remained  and  her  tone  gentle.  ❛  …But  I  appreciate  that  you  waited  until  you  were  certain.  Or  at  least,  had  an  idea  I'd  know  my  answer.  ❜  She  didn't  need  to.  However…perhaps  she  was  right  to  take  the  caution.  Perhaps  Barbie  had  seen  something  and  mentioned  it  to  Alice,  that  she  hadn't  considered. 

            Now  that  her  grip  had  loosened,  she  does  take  a  more  proper  look  to  the  ring  now  upon  her  finger.  It  shined  beautifully  in  the  natural  light,  and  somehow  the  lighting  made  it  as  if  there  was  more  details  she  had  missed.  Especially  in  the  moss  agate  itself.  She  could  make  out  very  specific  details  upon  it  and  in  it.  She  had  an  idea  of  how  it  may  have  been  found,  and  where  it  was  found.  However,  she's  pulled  from  her  thoughts  when  the  witch  continues  to  speak-aquamarines  widening  upon  the  words  leaving  her  lips,  before  her  gaze  softens  and  her  smile  widens.

           ❛  I  love  you  too,  Alice.  Much  more  than  I  at  times  can  properly  express.  Thank  you.  ❜

Somehow, I can see Nicole playing games like Tears of Themis unironically. Not even for the romantic aspect of it, but rather for the mystery in it. Unashamed, by the way. If you ask about it, she'll say she's studying about the way the game goes through proper mystery and looking for inspiration.

though she also does enjoy the game herself immensely with all it's lore.
