So, addressing the elephant in the room.
This person/ group of people absolutely thrive on all sorts of attention, especially negative.
Why is this? Because they think they're cool and edgy to 'troll' the mayhem community on tumblr by throwing insults/ threats and blocking you after.
If this sounds like kindergarten play to you, then you're damn right.
The curious thing is that they don't even realize how see-through they are with the way that they choose to behave. What I mean by that is that they are the exact type of oversensitive/ easily emotionally-dysregulated people that would get hysterical if anyone would do apply this exact 'hit and run' behaviour on them. In other words, they are just as furious and frustrated as they try to make you feel like after reading their direct messages.
So, my genuine advice: do not react to rage bait. No matter how offensive or ridiculous they get, do not give them a chance because that will turn into a game of back and forth that you won't win. So don't ever waste a second look at them.
Perhaps the biggest reason why no one should react to them is because (and that should go without saying) you are NOT whatever insult a random stranger calls you on the Internet. They're nobody, they don't know anything about you and no random words from a deranged individual should ever get to you.
They prey on the presumption that your self-esteem/ self-control is that low that you would get triggered by literally anybody who says something dumb to you.
Playing bully on the Internet it's a fun game for them because it's the only game that they could play.
The sole purpose of these accounts are to have a laugh at you. They will get as ridiculous as possible to make someone/ anyone give a damn about them.
How to stop this? With no fucks given, my friend.
The less interaction they get, the louder their cry is. But they cry goes down eventually as less and less people engage with them.
It's not worth posting about them or even making jokes because the more of a 'celebrity' they feel like, the more they stay around.
So shrug your shoulders, block/ report abuse, and move on. Life's too short to get pissed at the weakest reasons to get angry.
