① 6:20AM 🎼 first order of business is, of course, waking up. it tends to pendulum between a) waking up with a pang of fear and stress, only to realize it's 2 hours before i'm supposed to be awake b) waking to whatever new alarm tone i've set because the old one started sending me into distress upon hearing it c) waking up 2 hours after my alarm and all the backup alarms have gone off. ❤︎ today, it's option b and the chosen alarm sound of the day is wake up by the vamps because it's always fun to start the day with the band i had a crush on when i was 11.

② once i've managed to haul myself out of bed– usually after a quick doomscrolling session on tiktok– i start getting ready for the day! brushing my teeth, taking a quick shower, doing my skincare, and fitting in some morning stretches if i can. by the time i finish, it's usually around 7:00AM and i'm ready for breakfast. depending on how i feel, breakfast ranges from the most beautifully plated meal to random leftovers i've scavenged from the depths of my fridge.

③ 7:45AM 🎼 after breakfast, i get changed, do my makeup super quickly, and make sure i have everything to head out– my bag, my water bottle, car keys. when i'm sure i've got everything i need, i drive to my first class of the day, which is an introductory lab for biological oceanography. being a marine biology major, a lot of my classes either take place on the beach (like this one) or in classrooms nearby! finding parking can be a hassle, even though its a weekday morning, but i always park a bit further away. it gives me a chance to walk along the beach to class anyway.

④ 10:30AM 🎼 the lab is around 2 hours long, having started at 8:30AM, but it's so fun that the time just seems to fly by. before i know it, the class has ended and i'm free for the next few hours which, of course, means i get to head to the mall! it's only about a 10 minute drive from my class anyway. ❤︎ since it's still a bit early for lunch, my first stop is either sephora to try out random makeup samples or my favorite table to start my homework and people watch. once i get hungry, my only mission is to decide where i want to eat lunch! and if i want to grab boba after.

⑤ 1:30PM 🎼 after lunch and a quick stop for boba, i drive to the main campus for the rest of my classes– a course in paleobiology and another in marine mammal biology. both are large lecture courses so i always end up in a different seat every class. since the classes are recorded, a lot of seats are empty and, admittedly, i don't attend every class. it's much easier to take notes when i'm able to pause whenever i want.

⑥ 5:00PM 🎼 once classes are finished, i head straight back to my apartment. some days, i'll stop by the beach or the grocery store but once i get home, i take a nice, warm, relaxing shower. after getting comfortable in pajamas, i make myself dinner and eat while i continue my homework, often with a show or movie running in the background– most often, it's a spongebob episode of some sort.

⑦ i finish my homework anywhere from 8:00 to 10:00PM and the moment i finish, all i want to do is go straight to bed. if i'm feeling fancy, i'll light a candle while i brush my teeth and do my skincare for the night. and when all is finished, i get cozy under my comforter and finally let myself fall asleep.

I got into the camp because of my parents--they own the biggest research facility in the world! They research extinct animals, fossils, habitats, etc.

My parents wanted to work with Jurassic World and conduct research on the dinosaurs, and once they heard about that camp, they just HAD to send me...Jurassic World was happy to partner up with my parents company (something they would later regret big time).

What genius decides to open up Jurassic World after seeing the failure of Jurassic Park...like "Oh yes! opening up an island with several carnivorous to the public is an amazing idea! And opening a camp for kids is an even better idea! Who actually approved of this stupid idea??...

For this dr, I also scripted I'm a 2x gold olympic gold medalist in track bc why not!! Being a young olympian is awesome (Sorry Yasmina 💔)

Yuè, the coolest girl to ever walk the earth, a person of few words until she gets comfortable enough, then I fear she'll never be quiet again, her appearance completely different from her personality, the grunge but also business casual style melting into an almost pinky pie core, she's been said to smell like sweets and roses, her favorite season being winter she enjoys ice skating (only few know it used to be her dream to be a famous figure skater), she's an avid mitski and isabel larosa listener, her favorite hobby is getting piercings and jewelry.

Ben, a certified dork in a hot body, everyone thinks he's thuggish because of his appearance and little sister's reputation but it's just all rumors, tho when you do get to know him, he's always staring into your soul with is blue eyes as he explains every superhero he's every watched or read about, and flaunts himself as the official spiderman, a surfer guy at heart he's always smelling like the ocean with a tan the color of warm sand, his favorite season is summer, as he not only enjoys surfing but also collecting seashells for his sister and friends (me), you'll find arctic monkeys and chase atlantic playing in the dusty ipod he stole from me.

Jeremiah DuBois (17)

Jeremiah is the representative evil light skin of the group, he's somehow broken more hearts of people than he even knows, he's heavily into nature and enjoys walking through forests, found a cool hangout place by tripping and rolling into it, knowledgeable on our local ecosystem as he studies it between school and basketball, though he plays basketball he much prefers playing volleyball on the beach, he usually smells of deep rich dirt unless he has a date, his favorite season being spring as he enjoys watching everything come back to life, and he prides himself on being the #1 spotify listener of childish gambino and odetari.
