"letting people drown" is not what I would call it. I'd say it is murder, purely for our economic benefits. yes, we, Europe, the western oh so civilized world is interested in the ressources coming from India, Africa... but the people who we are exploding should stay the fuck there. that's called a 'free market'. for me, the high idea of Europe doesn't die just now. colonialism, anyone? yes, i am happy to live in a system some call democracy, but on how much blood, tears and dead bodies of women of color, poc, poor people, handicapped folks, soldiers, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, workers, slaves and tortured non human animals this "European enlightened moral ideals" are founded is just disgusting bigotry. and forgotten by most. conveniently. we can't wait for someone else to do WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. we can't wait for our power greedy governments to find solutions for climate change, to solve the problems we are facing as a planet. 🌏 as humankind. as all life on this earth. i mean, we can of course,... we have nothing to loose, but our extinction. who trusts their government with their lives? the lives of their children? and how the fuck did they come to the point, that this is a good idea? do some research on how all governments treat people, who have a different opinion. and reevaluate, please.
