The 2014 Houston Press Music Awards Ceremony will be held on August 7 at Warehouse Live

Well, this is a little bit embarrassing. We completely forgot to mention this event on the podcast that dropped today. It's a hell of a good opportunity to see a bunch of great Houston bands: The Tontons, the Suffers, thelastplaceyoulook, Electric Attitude, and more. It's a brand new recording space as we podcast for the first time from Heights Vinyl. We discuss some upcoming live music shows as per usual, then talk about which fall albums we're looking forward to the most. Then it's time to decide: which genre of music has the worst fans? All three of us have different ideas on this one. Bitter rivalries are created and things are said that can never be taken back.
