I know we all know that Qimir is a simp for Osha, but I don’t think we’ve all realized how extremely horrendously viciously down bad he actually is.

Bc this scene is so interesting, right? I need you all to let it sink in that Qimir had all the opportunity here post-Sol to rush to his ship and far away from Vernestra as he possibly could, he had ample time to escape this planet, especially since he technically had no reason to stay.

But nah. Instead of escaping from the Jedi and Vernestra, Qimir still turned to find Osha considering that she rejected his offer of being his pupil twice and he came back for her anyway.

Four times now, her eyes have filled with tears in front of him.

There’s something about him … he evokes this sense of vulnerability in her that she has with very few others, and even then those were people she knew for years. She just met him and the floodgates have opened. Osha is such a beautifully complex character and Qimir understands her in a way that only Mae does, I’d argue. Though he’s more blatant in his desire for her, Osha’s heart is his - whether she’s aware of it or not. Now isn’t the time of course, given the current state of her life, but S2 will be their season. It’ll peel back the layers of Qimir as well, revealing just how broken and battle-worn he really is. This isn’t about looks, this is a story about a love like no other ever told in Star Wars. It’s going to be painful, cynical, passionate, agonizing, sensual, and torturous all at once.

This is the kind of art I live for.

Osha is so full of rage and anguish (love to see it) that what she needs is her balance. Someone who understands her pain yet doesn’t diminish it. Who doesn’t fight her fire with fire. Her calm, her comfort. Someone who doesn’t add even more anger to her space.

This is why I love this moment so much

The way he didn’t start to argue with her or yell at her for her to turn his side of the comms back on. He was clearly annoyed, but he let her be and allowed her her peace. She didn’t want to hear him yap? Fine, whatever you say beautiful
