Ahsoka Deserves More Recognition

I never intended to go on a rant about this, but Ahsoka Tano deserves a lot more credit in the Star Wars universe. I understand that she’s not the Chosen One, but the girl was a Jedi prodigy in her own right. She was the first female protagonist to use lightsabers as her weapon of choice instead of a blaster. In the beginning, she may have seemed a little annoying, but as she grew up, you really grew to like her. She was friends with Padme and even found friendship and possible romantic feelings in Lux (Seriously, what is it with Jedi and falling for politicians?) 

Yes, she did walk away from the Jedi Order, and that drove Anakin further down the path to becoming Darth Vader, but if she had stayed, she could have died. Not to mention when she finally reunites with her master 15 years later, she fights him, which was both painful and impressive to watch, but she gets him IN THE FACE! She got Darth Vader in the face and destroyed part of his mask. Then when she sees part of the face of Anakin her words to him just make me feel the feels; “I won’t leave you, not this time.”

Bottom line, Ahsoka is too brilliant of a character to not get more recognition and merchandise, I understand that she gets a bit more recognition with, Star Wars: The Forces of Destiny, but I still think she deserves attention in the movieverse, even if someone only mentions her name. 

Pleeeeeease George Lucas, can we at least know in the movieverse that she did in fact exist?
