Fear of risk?

La paura del rischio è paura della libertà e la paura della libertà è la paura di vivere. Sto delirando? Quando improvviso, e il rischio è insito nell’improvvisazione, godo di più delle cose, mi sento viva in quello che sto facendo. Mi sento vibrare. Alda merini diceva che quella vibrazione si chiama vita, diceva di inseguirla. Scegli la vita. Allora scegli la libertà. Allora scegli il rischio.

Fear of risk is fear of freedom and fear of freedom is fear of living. Am I delusional? When I improvise things, and the risk is inherent in improvisation, I enjoy things more, I feel alive in what I’m doing. I feel vibrating. Alda merini used to say that that vibration is called life, she said to follow it. Choose life. Then choose freedom. Then choose risk.
