Chronic Procrastination

I’m so bad about this.  I’ve realized lately that I haven’t been pulling my weight where my creativity is concerned.  I’ve been doing better at work, at generally being an adult (or faking it very well), and at having a life outside of the house.  What I’ve let slip so much in the last few years is my creative self.  I still do crafts and make jewelry and write, but not at the level I should be doing it.  I need to find the will to turn out pages of writing a day, not just once in a while.  I feel like I need to give myself a serious kick in the butt.  I need to structure a schedule for myself.  Typically, I can’t force my creative side to do what it doesn’t want to and maybe that’s the problem.  It’s been too free form for so long.  Time to actually give it set times to function under and find ways to funnel that energy into what I need it to be part of.  Who knows?  Let’s see if I can’t form any good habits!  Wish me luck!
