PAPAL VIST 2015 / LOLO KIKO 

It’s been a crazy and blessed weekend for all the Filipinos. Everyone was so keen to see Pope Francis and to receive his blessing. There were a lot of road closure, especially around Metro Manila, causing a hard time to commute or to go out, yet, it wasn’t enough to stop us Filipinos to see our dear Lolo Kiko. Rain or shine, everyone were waiting patiently for Pope Francis.

Me and my mom waited for him for two hours. We were lucky enough that we lived in the area near the place where Pope Francis was staying. We woke up around 5 am, and walk straight to Quirino Ave. Sadly, Pope Francis wasn’t able to ride the Pope mobile but a car instead, since it was raining at that time. All of the people who were waiting along with us were disappointed for not having the chance to see him, but, for me and my mom, the fact that Pope Francis passed by us even though he was inside the car, was already enough. We were still blessed by him. 

It’s been a great week for us, thank you Pope Francis! Next time, we’ll be seeing you in Rome!

Greetings from a gloomy Wednesday! My June was already over and now it’s July! Whew, that was so fast.

Anyway here is my July so far in squares:

On the 1st week of July, I’ve been really busy doing my invitation cards and distributing it with my friends and relatives. I’m so proud that I’m the one who designed it. Since the day I said to myself that I’ll be a Multimedia artists, along with it was a dream of mine to be able to design my own invitation card if ever I’ll have a debut. Thus, it came true! So happy!

After our PE class, the PEP squad will have their regular practice. I got the chance to watched them once and what I realised was, what their doing is not a big joke. I found it as a matter of life and death.

Celebrated my late debut at Movie Stars Cafe last Saturday with this Spider-Man. He’s a funny guy, I’m telling you, he never fails to make me laugh.

On the other hand, I fell in love to Black Spider-Man. He never fails to make me blush. From our first meeting way back in last June, my heart still beats abnormally because of him. I wish I can know his face. =(

Dyed my hair red and now I have the guts to put on a red lipstick. Loving the red lips so farrrr

Yesterday (Monday July 7) we shoot a video for our art history class. The video will be our midterms. I dressed up as Cleopatra. Made my costume all by myself (except the black dress though). Kudos to my groupmates Andy and Rice for helping me out to do the eyeliner thing, 

Bought a new book, Boy meets Boy. You know me, I bought another book though I’m fully aware that I still have pile of books to read. 

Trying out some new style/way in lettering. I tried to do a lettering using a gel pen. I want myself to be confident on using different mediums when it comes in lettering. I don’t want to stick with black pen forever. So yeah~

That’s a quick update about how my life goes this July. Our midterms is almost done. I only have 1 midterms to go and that is for our major subject, Multimedia Communication Theory (MMCOMTH). 

Now, we are on the mid of year 2014 and I swear, just some few more sleeps it’s already Christmas. Days went by so fast that I didn’t realised it’s already Wednesday today!

  We had this tattoo activity in my WORLITE (world literature) class. We read a short story, Two Words and we were asked to think of what could it be the design of the Colonel’s tattoo on his chest. Me (as the model) and my partner, Andy (as the tattoo artist) came up with this design, a tree with a bird flying from the tree to Belisa.

I personally chose to put the tattoo at my back because it’s unique compare to the ordinary spot like the arm. We were given 40 minutes to do this tattoo activity and whoever gets to top 6 will have the additional grades. In case you’re curious, our tattoo was the favourite of our professor so we got in to the top 6 but didn’t make it as the best tattoo (since it was voted by the whole class), but still our prof. liked it. That’s all matter to me and to Andy.

Now, I don’t want to remove it. It’s my dream to have a tattoo but my mother is really against on that idea. Still, I can have it permanent but I don’t have yet the guts to do so because a.) It would be hurt for sure and b.) I’m scared for the bad effects (that might happen) of the tattoo that I’ve seen on web.

Oh well, MAYBE SOMEDAY.

This week will be the last week of February and I must say, It went by so quickly that I didn’t even notice it until I checked my planner and discovered that today it’s already February 25. Heh.

Well, to tell you guys, the love month turned as a school-hell-month to me. As soon the february started, school works like projects, plates, speeches and midterms came. I was too busy the entire 3 weeks of the month. I didn’t even got the chance to go home in Cavite for almost a month. I stayed here in our condo, having sleepless nights just to finish what works need to be done. Also, for the whole month, I spend my free time in school going back in condo to do plates instead of eating lunch with my friends and having a chit-chat with them. Too much of COLLEGE-FEELS. Hahahaha.

Anyway, during February,

I’ve been eating this long donut from the 7eleven near our condo. Well, it’s masarap, so munch!munch!

Been buying and wearing cute and colored socks lately. Got tired of wearing plain black and grey socks.

Did edit 2 videos for school. 1 for my Oralcom and the other 1 for my Natscid class. We were required to film and submit a 2-4 minutes of storytelling in Oralcom class. My topic was “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”. I put too much effort on it, you know. I made props and did some opening in the video. Then, when I saw my other blockmate’s videos, ghad I’m so productive to say at least. 

The other video was a commercial for my Natscid class. It’s fun actually to play around the adobe premiere. I don’t like working in Imovie, sorry guys adobe biased here. I found it as a simple and basic video editing software, well for me only. It won’t cooperate with meeee. The Premiere has a lot of features so yeaaaah.

Everyday during the past 3 weeks of the month, my cork board never loose any paper. Too much school works and their deadline. GHAD. You know, having cork bored actually works. It keeps me updated on what should I need to do ASAP.

Got a sideline. I’m working, okay not that literally working, for a food store/stall. I took pictures of their food. Next time, I’ll be doing the layout for their menus. 

We attend the Attic Bazaar. I love antiques and vintage!!! Bought some stuffs like shades, cap, bag, a vintage dress and washi tapes.

Also, my family got into a little shopping at MOA. I asked my mom if we can visit Muji and viola we spend moolah. Hahaha. I just love Muji so much! and I think my mom agrees on it. We are spoiled when it comes to shopping lately or it just that, my mom can’t say no to us? Oooohhh.

First time to ate at Project Pie wherein you can customized your own pizza! We had our late dinner there last Saturday and still even it’s already around 10, people keeps on coming.

We also went to Divisoria last week or last-last week. Supposedly, I’m not going, but later then I decided to tag along. Bought a lot of vintage and art related stuff. Too much feels.

AND after the tiring school week of plates, projects, speeches, videos and midterms, last friday, the 1st day of no stress, I decided to wash out my blue hair. So I belonged to blonde family now!!! mehehehe.
