Cece didn't frame Alison or The Liars for Mona's murder theory:

What if Cece didn’t frame the liars or Alison for Mona’s murder? Hear me out.

Cece wanted Alison and The Liars in the dollhouse, not behind bars. It doesn’t make sense for her to frame them for murder, then to kidnap them, proving their innocence.. What if Sara Harvey did that?..

What if the plan was to kidnap Mona, but not to fake her death? What if Sara is the one who told Mona to do that, not Cece? We know that Mona met with someone outside the salon, I think that was Sara. I think that Sara didn’t like Cece’s plan, she thought that the girls should be behind bars. Why? Because of what happened to Bethany.

We know that Mona killed Bethany. I know, it’s annoying right? But what if the liars witnessed this happen and did nothing about it? There’s a reason we haven’t seen a flashback yet, and I think that’s it. The liars were spiked by Alison that night, so they probably don’t remember. But it would explain Emily’s weird flashback when she went to see Dr Sullivan and it would explain Spencer’s too. They didn’t do it, they witnessed it. Alison had a hold over all the liars that summer, she knew their darkest secrets. When they saw Mona hit who they thought was Alison, they did nothing because they didn’t want her to tell. Pretty awful, but remember they were drugged, they would never do that sober.

This ties all the liars into the murder of Bethany. Why would Sara want revenge? Maybe they were related, or maybe they were close. That could be why she’s working with Cece, to get revenge.

Sara made it look like Mona was murdered after Cece took her, then proceeded to plot evidence against Alison and the liars, messing up Cece’s plan. One by one, the liars end up in prison. I think that Cece figured out that Sara was behind it and locked her up in the dollhouse, which explains why she was down there. She then proceeds to kidnap the liars from the van. It was kinda odd that Cece had that lair at the Campbell’s Apple Farm right? That was deliberate. She wanted the police to find it, to see that Mona was alive. Why? So that they would let Alison go. It would also make Andrew look guilty, which is a plus.

I also think that she could be responsible for the murder of Jessica. The timing of her death was strange. It was just as she found out Alison was alive. If this theory is right, then Sara probably blamed Alison the most for Bethany’s death because it was meant to be her. She killed Jessica to take something from her, like Alison did with Bethany.

As much as I hate to say it, Sara could be Uber A. Unless she’s a double agent who’s working with the ‘new bad’ to get justice for Bethany. I don’t think that the ‘new bad’ is a new character. I believe it’s someone else who’s involved with Bethany in some way.

“Game Over, Charles” - Alternate Ending

JESSICA DILAURENTIS

“That Night,” CeCe Drake was at the Hastings residence talking to Melissa. As she was leaving, she cut through the DiLaurentis yard where she witnessed Mrs. Dilaurentis burying Alison. Not one to miss an opportunity, she made her presence known, and Jessica had been paying her off to keep quiet ever since. When Alison turned up alive two years later and Jessica saw CeCe in the police station, she grew nervous that she would be incriminated. She decided it was time to finally let go of her loyalties to Bethany’s father and tell the truth should she be questioned.

She was in the midst of drafting an email to Mr. Young when Kenneth appeared and addressed her activity. Jessica broke down and told Kenneth about the affair, Bethany and Marion on the roof, Bethany hitting Alison, and burying their daughter with her own two hands. She told him she was done with secrets and wanted to tell the police everything. Kenneth was angry with his soon-to-be-ex-wife over her years of lies and couldn’t bear the potential shame of having such torrid family affairs exposed to the public. He switched her blood pressure medication before returning to the police station and awaiting the return of his daughter. Later that evening, CeCe stopped by the house to speak with Jessica about her conversation with the cops. Instead, she found Jessica’s dead body. She buried her the same way she’d watched Mrs. DiLaurentis bury Alison.

THE DOLLHOUSE

The Game was growing stale. Too often, extraneous circumstances prevented Wren’s schemes from coming to fruition, the supporting players - boyfriends, parents, random nosy acquaintances - causing him to lose focus. Eddie Lamb, for instance, had been a nurse at Radley for decades and knew that Wren was Charles. When Wren came back to work there, Eddie started watching him a little too closely, growing suspicious of his mental well-being. Unable to risk his true identity being revealed and losing control of the game, Wren had to dissolve the issue. So, in a barrel full of chemicals, he dissolved Eddie Lamb.

Wren knew those side projects had to stop. They were only wasting time. He needed a place of his own, a completely controlled environment in which he could hold the Ali and her friends and conduct more precise and complicated experiments. There, the game would never stop nor stray off course. He would play with the girls constantly in his very own Dollhouse.

Executing this plan did not come without challenges. Wren, CeCe, and Melissa all had places to be and appearances to make in order to avert suspicion and retain a sense of normalcy. They couldn’t maintain the Dollhouse 24/7. Wren needed someone who wouldn’t otherwise be missed to help run the establishment and watch over the girls. Who better to recruit than Sara Harvey, a missing teen who’d been living as a runaway for the past two years. Wren tracked her down and offered her money, food, clothing, a place to live, and everything she wanted or needed, in exchange for her services. She could not only be an extra set of hands and eyes on the girls, but eventually, another way to mess with their heads.

BETHANY YOUNG

During her frequent visits with Charles at Radley, Jessica encountered the father of another patient named Bethany Young. She and Mr. Young bonded over the struggle of having a child locked away and found comfort in eachother’s company. Soon their friendly relationship blossomed into an affair. Even after Charles was released, Jessica would come to Radley to meet with her lover while he visited Bethany. From time to time, she would take Bethany out on her own and even buy her gifts in an attempt to win the child over. Bethany, however, saw through the facade and believed it was all a ploy to keep stringing her dad a long. As time went on, she began to feel as though her father was coming to visit Mrs. DiLaurentis more than he was coming to visit her, and her resentment for the woman grew. 

One day, Bethany saw Jessica walking down the hall, and in a fit of rage, followed her all the way up to the roof and pushed her off. Only it wasn’t Jessica, it was another patient, Marion Cavanaugh; Bethany’s delusions and outbursts had gotten the best of her once again. Out of loyalty to Mr. Young, Jessica used her status on the board at Radley to cover up the murder and have Marion’s death listed as a suicide so Bethany would not be subject to punishment.

Bethany saw this as an act of leverage, but her father saw it as an act of kindness. She watched him become closer than ever to Jessica. She listened as Mrs. D told Mr. Young fantastic about her two youngest children, looked on as she showed him pictures of her perfect life and perfect daughter. Bethany was jealous. She knew her dad would rather have beautiful, smart, not-crazy Alison DiLaurentis as a daughter than the drugged-up, messed-up, locked-up, murdererous Bethany Young. So one day, wearing an outfit Jessica gave her, and a bracelet she made in art therapy to match the one Alison wore in photos, Bethany escaped Radley with a mission: to get rid of Alison and take her place. 

Mrs. D received a call from the institution warning her that a patient she had a relationship with was the loose. Knowing Bethany’s tendencies and just what she was capable of, Jessica asked Alison not to go anywhere that night. Alison didn’t listen. Her mom’s worst suspicions were realized when she witnessed through a window the “fragile patient” striking Alison with a rock. She ran outside, but it was too late. Bethany was gone, and Alison was dead. Confused, panicked, and feeling somehow responsible, Mrs. D buried her own daughter in a shallow grave, and went inside to call Mr. Young and tell him what transpired.

Meanwhile,  Wilden was on his way to the DiLaurentis home. He and Alison hooked up over the summer while on Vacation, and she told him she might be pregnant. After hearing she was back in Rosewood, he knew he needed to confront her about the situation. Wilden arrived and caught a glimpse of what appeared to be Alison standing in her backyard. As he approached, his gaze landed on a shovel nearby, and survival instincts took over. In the heat of the moment, Wilden decided to eliminate the problem altogether. Grabbing the shovel, he walked up behind the girl and hit her over the head without a single word. He fled the scene immediately. Wilden never realized it wasn’t Alison he hit, but an unsuspecting Bethany Young, who had returned to complete her masterplan and take Alison’s place. Ironically, she got exactly what she hoped for. She took Alison’s place not in life, but in her grave.

Kenneth could never come to terms with what he viewed as the loss of his only son. Ashamed, he insisted Charles was no longer a DiLaurentis and demanded his siblings grow up without knowledge of their troubled brother. Jessica, however, couldn’t bear to abandon her oldest son and continued visiting him at Radley Sanitarium as much as she could. After 8 years of treatment, when Charles was 16, he was deemed mentally fit to be released from the institution. He wanted to come back home to Rosewood with his family, but knowing how much confusion and pain that would cause, Jessica could not allow it. She had a different plan. She would support him and help him establish a life outside of Radley under one condition: Charles would die, and he would begin living under a new identity, Wren Kingston.

Charles agreed, so Wren was born. After getting his GED, he attended college at Oxford University in England. He then pursued his life-long interest in science and biology at UPenn’s School of Medicine where he earned his MD. There, he met Melissa Hastings and asked her to marry him. As Wren, he had everything he could have dreamed of, a wonderful career, and a wonderful fiance; however, a part of him still mourned the life he never got to live as Charles. When Alison was found dead, he felt a sense of personal justice. It was fair that her life was taken away from her, because she’d caused his real life to be taken away from him.

After his engagement to Melissa, he relocated Rosewood where he began practicing medicine. Eventually, he acquired a part-time residency at the very institution he’d spent his formative years. Wren enjoyed being on the other side, being the person helping instead of the one being helped. But the more time he spent at Radley, the more the dark and twisted urges deep inside him started to resurface. Sessions with his patients began exciting him in an unhealthy manner; their delusions and crimes thrilled him.

One of his patients, Mona Vanderwaal, was particularly intriguing. Under the influence of her medication, she told him stories about his sister and her four best friends. He learned all about their secrets, lies, mischief, and the pain they brought to everyone they encountered. He learned that Alison, whose death had seemed like sweet vengeance, was actually still alive. Listening to Mona, he understood why she tortured those terrible girls and wanted to watch them suffer. He found himself wanting it, too. 

Mona was incompetent; she couldn’t finish what she started  But he was stronger, smarter, and as a doctor, well-equipped. With a little help from his friends - Melissa, who blamed Ali and the Liars for the death of her husband, and CeCe, who had yet to forgive them for her expulsion from college - Wren could succeed where Mona failed and take the girls down once and for all. Game on.

Evil Isn’t Born, It’s Made : Charles DiLaurentis

WHO IS CHARLES?

Charles, “Charlie”, DiLaurentis is older brother of Jason and Alison DiLaurentis. He is 15 months older than Jason and was called Charlie by Jason.

WHY WAS HE SENT TO RADLEY?

Charles was a troubled boy. When he was 9 years old and Alison was 11 months old, he tried to drown Alison in the bathtub according to Kenneth DiLaurentis. Kenneth totally assumed that Charles was trying to kill Alison because of his troubled actions.

CASE 1: Since Charles has twisted mind, it might have been his way of expression of his love for his sister or playing with his sister by trying to scare her.

CASE 2: Charles might have wanted to give Alison a bath, dropped her and tried to save her by holding her neck which caused Alison to scream and cry.

CASE 3: Charles really got jealous of attention Alison received and he wanted to get rid of her.

Later, he was institutionalized and was sent to Radley due to his delinquent behavior. Jessica and Kenneth DiLaurentis made Jason forget about Charles, they suppressed his subconsciousness that he started to believe Charlie was his imaginary friend. A while later, Jessica DiLaurentis brought Charles as Freddie to celebrate his birthday with Jason and Alison. She told them Freddie was their second cousin. Charles seemed happy to be reunited with his siblings and he didn’t cause any trouble about his name just to spend quality of time with his siblings. He asked Jessica when he would go back and when he realized that he could play with them longer, he seemed genuinely happy. To be close with his son, Jessica became one of the board of trustees of Radley.

DID HE COMMIT SUICIDE?

When Charles became 16, she let his son fake his death and run away with another identity. Jessica told Kenneth that Charles committed suicide and she had his body cremated. Aunt Carol was the only one who knew the truth and she hid Charles in her house.

WHAT WAS HIS CONNECTION WITH BETHANY?

Charles had a connection with Bethany Young who was also a Radley patient so did Jessica. There were 6 years of age difference between Charles and Bethany.

Bethany was

either girlfriend of Charles

or someone who felt like a sister to him.

Jessica took Bethany out on day trips because her purpose was to spend time with her son and it would only be possible with Bethany’s presence. Alison found out her mom’s connection with Radley and Bethany Young without being aware of Charles’ existence. She made CeCe visit Bethany at Radley. Bethany didn’t seem to trust Jessica and CeCe/Alison.

WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT?

At that time, Alison was being harrassed by A messages and she was determined to discover A’s identity so she came up with a big plan to unmask A that night when Bethany escaped from Radley. She drugged the liars to find out if any of them was A. She talked to the followings to find out if any of them was A: Byron, Garrett, Jenna, Toby, Ezra, Ian and Melissa. At that night, Jason was also there being high and he blacked out. CeCe was also there and was seen talking to Melissa. Alison had an argument with Spencer who didn’t sleep and followed her. She lured Bethany into Rosewood since she was jealous of relationship between Bethany and her mom. Charles followed Bethany to Rosewood. Meanwhile, Melissa thought Bethany was Alison since they both wore the same yellow top just like CeCe. She thought Spencer hit her with a shovel and assumed Alison, who was actually Bethany, dead and she buried her alive to protect her sister Spencer. Alison then was seen talking with Jessica. After Alison’s argument with her mom, she was hit on her head with a stone and Jessica was screaming at the person who did that and saying “what have you done?”. Charles was the one who hit Alison. He was already mad at Alison for being the reason he was sent to Radley. He then seemed to forgive her but he started to get mad at her after Alison started to play with Bethany. When Bethany died, Charles couldn’t help himself and ended up hurting Alison. Jessica panicked and assumed Alison died. She buried her alive to cover the fact that her son caused the death of her daughter. By the way, Alison was 15 and Bethany was 17 when they were buried alive, whereas Charles was 23. Charles ran away with a guilt of killing his sister and a grief of losing someone he cared about. Alison was rescued by Grunwald the same night when Bethany couldn’t be saved by anyone. After leaving Grunwald’s side, Alison ran into Mona who suggested her to fake her death. Alison wasn’t aware that Mona was her A. Also, Charles didn’t know Alison was alive then.

WHEN DID THE ORIGINAL “A” GAME START?

After Alison’s disappearance, the liars fell apart. Aria went to Iceland with her family. Hanna became best friends with Mona. After Aria got back from Iceland, Mona freaked out and came up with A plan to prevent the girls from being friends again so she wouldn’t lose Hanna. Her plan backfired, when A messages brought the girls back together. After a while, she had to expose her identity and she was sent to Radley.

WHY DID CHARLES STEAL THE GAME FROM MONA AFTER SHE WAS ADMITTED TO RADLEY?

All this time, Charles thought Alison was dead. Until he met Mona at Radley.

CASE 1: Charles, with his new identity, visited Mona at Radley.

CASE 2: Charles started to work at Radley and ran into Mona intentionally or unintentionally.

CASE 3: Charles sent someone to visit Mona at Radley.

Since Mona was on meds, she spilled the beans about Alison being alive. She also told him how she came up with A game. That was when Charles realized how close the girls were with Alison. He also realized that the girls were looking for answers regarding to Alison’s death. To bring Alison back to the town, he came up with new A game which means he would torture the girls so Alison would finally show up. Finally, the girls found Alison and they convinced her to come back to Rosewood. After Alison returned to Rosewood, Jessica got murdered. Jessica was supposed to be murdered by Charles.

If Charles had killed her it is because

CASE 1: Jessica confessed that she couldn’t protect him anymore.

CASE 2: Jessica threatened him with exposing his identity.

CASE 3: Charles thought Jessica fooled him by faking Alison’s death and making him believe he killed her.

CASE 4: Charles was mad at his mother for burying his sister alive.

CASE 5: Charles wanted to frame someone with his mother’s murder.

CASE 6: Charles made her fake her death.

If Jessica was killed by someone else, it was probably done by someone who is an enemy of Charles and wanted to make him look bad.

WHY DID N.A.T. CLUB MEMBERS GOT HURT AND MURDERED?

CASE 1: Charles wanted to punish them for causing a trouble for Alison.

CASE 2: Charles wanted to punish them because they made Jason feel guilty and doubt himself.

CASE 3: Charles wanted to punish anyone who had been in the backyard at that night.

CASE 4: Charles didn’t know who killed Bethany so he held all of them responsible for her death.

WHY IS CHARLES STILL TORTURING THE LIARS?

Charles tortured the liars to get news about Alison. Charles has already been in their lives with another identity.

CASE 1: Charles, then, got obsessed with them and they felt like dolls to him. He wanted to connect with them so he kidnapped them. They started to mean a lot to him after a while, and he couldn’t let go of them. When the girls got mad at him and threatened him, he felt hurt because he just wanted to play with them. This way, he could connect with Alison. He is now scared of them discovering his identity.

CASE 2: Charles thinks that the liars also knew about Alison’s plan for Bethany. He assumes one of them killed her or they helped Alison lure her to Rosewood. So, he has been punishing them since then.

CASE 3: Charles tried to become a friend of the liars. He was misunderstood by them. That’s why he wants to punish them.

CASE 4: If Charles hadn’t been sent to Radley, he would have gotten to know the Liars just like did Jason. He finds them interesting and he wants to get to know them. So, he can feel like a part of Alison’s life.

WHY DOES CHARLES WANT TO COME BACK?

He has been hiding entire time. Jessica stayed in contact with him but she let Kenneth send him away and she let him hide Charles’ identity from his siblings. Kenneth and Jason’s relationship is not so good since Jason is not Kenneth’s son. However, Alison is Kenneth’s favorite child. Charles is also aware that Jason was forced to forget Charlie’s existence. So, Charles wanted to punish Kenneth by scaring Alison. He then realized he had to punish Kenneth, not Alison. Charles thought he would show himself up to Jason because Jason was a true brother to him. After officers crashed the party thanks to Alison and the liars, Charles felt betrayed. However, he is sick of hiding now and he wants to come home.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE OF CHARLES

He is manipulative.

He is vindictive.

He is sadistic.

He is obssessed.

He is detailed and organized.

He is misunderstood, he can’t express himself accurately.

He feels isolated, lonely, alone, lost and abandoned.

He has a fear of rejection.

He loses his temper easily.

He lacks of communication skills.

He has trust issues and he feels betrayed.

He felt scared when he was little and he is still scared of exposing his identity.

This is an illustrated version of pllcrazyness' amazing theory. I cannot help but look deeper into this, so I added some details. Enjoy :)

We know Ali likes to base her lies on the truth.

Note that I haven’t manipulated the part where “Ali” is hit in the head - in her flashback, she falls, but then we see the rock falling near her left foot and it looks like she is still standing. I don’t know if this is a production error of if this is supposed to be a hint that Ali was the attacker, or at least the attacker had her shoes.

Well Marlene did say that Black Widow is endgame. Also, in the books they’re were like three different A’s so maybe after Charles is revealed someone else will take over. Meaning Charles is Big A, but once he is revealed and possibly sent to jail or Radley, someone else decides they want to torment the girls and becomes A.

When Toby is rading his moms files it says something like she wanted to make up for time lost with her son. Hmm Charles? The only way she was able to see him was if she checked into Radley? Maybe they were on the roof talking and she was apologizing for putting him in there for his entire life and he got mad and pushed her off

In 5x04 we see Aria checking her mail.

There you can see a suspicious mail from  Harvey D, titled FENCE INSTALL

He says: “I would like to go over the material options available for the fence project we have been discussing”

What fence project is a 17 year old working on? Perhaps this one?

This is a pretty solid clue. It’s a fact that Aria was planning to install a fence somewhere. I am 100% sure she is running the A-team. She is the one writing the story and controlling things. She is the puppet master and she made this dollhouse happen.

I think it means they are the last one to be revealed. Possibly in the last episode.
