Undocumented Students: We Want To Hear Your Stories

Annie Undocumented (click to watch the trailer) has been invited to the 2014 New York Television Festival, and now we want to hear your undocumented stories. Share your stories with us via video and you could be included in a companion piece to our web series!
VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: A. Record your video in a well-lit room using a smartphone placed on a table or tripod. (Or ask a friend to help film you to nix any shaky-cam action.)
B. Introduce yourself however you'd like. Full names not necessary. Examples: Joe, age 15, from California. Jane, age 22.
C. Tell us briefly:
1) How did you discover that you were an undocumented immigrant? 2) How has it affected your friendships? 3) Who did you confide in? What was their reaction? 4) What are some embarrassing situations you've gotten into as a result of your status? 5) What are some solutions you've thought of to fix your situation, from rational to ridiculous? 6) What are some of the toughest decisions you've had to face as a result of your status? 7) How does it affect your romantic relationships? 8) Being undocumented can seem hopeless sometimes. What gives you hope?
