After a while of not watching anime, I decided to watch Frieren: Beyond journey's End with my friends in my Discord server, and really liking Frieren, I decided to try a new art style with it. I don't know if I did pixel art correctly, but I did use Pixel Studio to create it; however, I set the pixels high (1024 x 1024).
A lot of this anime is about Frieren, who cannot understand the concept of losing friends until she begins to have them and regrets not getting to know them. In this piece, I wanted to highlight that; it's beautiful but has a far-off, distant melancholy to it. I kid you not, I was pre-sketching thumbnails on my phone at the bus stop (a little shit cut me off thinking I was fully not paying attention, but that's besides the point). When I got home, I dove into this piece and have been working on it for… 8… hours….
My back is killing me.

AO3 Update - New Book???
So some of you lovely folk are following me from AO3, not a lot, but some... Guy when I tell you this Fanfiction that I am cooking is making me mad that I'm the author and cant just sit and READ IT. OMG ugh, guys. I- just, i Just, I JUST uggghh.
No so, this next one would be a thank you story for a Youtube creator called DigitalWave (I'll leave the link to their channel below - and they don't know I'm doing this yet so keep it a suprise if you visit them!!!!)
But they ended up reading two of my Your Boyfriend Game Fanfiction on their page, and I wanted to make a gift story, because I really appreciate it. But a short, small story idea to gift them became an multi-chapter planning and when I say this shit is making me sit here like, DID I JUST WRITE THAT!!!! Biiiiittcchhhh.... biiiittttcchhh But anyway, I won't link the stories that were mines on their becuase I would love for you to explore their channel on your own, and if you love the Your Boyfriend Fandom and fanfiction on AO3 you'll love their channel! They always find some good ones like this one Cowboy one that I'm now following! That is tea and a Half!

An artist Food for thought...
It took me a second, but I think i figured it out. Maybe it's been said before, but I dont think I understood it until now.
When an artist tells you to draw the same thing, anatomy, objects, etc, it's learning the muscle memory of art.
"Here is an apple. Draw what you see."
But drawing what you've SEEN and incorporating it, thats learning your style.
"Give me an apple, draw what you remember."
That's why artists say to practice anatomy. However, they forget to tell the reason why sometimes.
Since moving to the UK I have once more found an inspiration in art. I wanted to revisit this fandom and think about a time that I had when indie art and animation inspired me to signify a chapter in my life that I am starting.
I have been finding this inspiration again and even started projects that, at time, would have been outside my comfort zone (Starting a youtube channel nothing wierd I promise). The channel is more towards fiber art and will steer it into other nerd stuff. Its a work in progress. But I want to get back into art and take time to improve it (as long as my motivation allows me to do).

The drawing is based on my idea that Alpha doesn't have a full color reference and in theory his third and fourth pair of "hands" can gradually turn into a bright color... So I went and added some colors to him:P
