Here is some hot takes about the MJ fandom that might get me hate:

1. You can’t hate Pepsi because of what they “did to Michael”. First off, it was the pyrotechnics that injured him, not the company itself. You can still drink Pepsi as an MJ fan. I myself drink Pepsi sometimes. So if you go on Pepsi’s TikTok page and comment “you think we forgot?” With a sticker of Michael, then you’re corny as fuck.

2. If you hate on the Jacksons for dating outside their race, then you’re weird and parasocial.

3. The Mature era Michael x younger reader trope is overused. I’m not hating on anyone who does write that trope, but when other people started writing it, it started to get weird and fetish like. Like why is Michael like 55 and the reader is 19, acts like a toddler, and calls Michael daddy?

4. Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were not a good couple. Maybe the first few months of their marriage were nice, but after that they started to get really toxic.

5. You’re not a “larp” or a “fake fan” for liking Michael’s popular songs. They’re popular for a reason, because they’re good.

That’s all I can think of for right now. I don’t want to argue with anybody on here, these are just my opinions.
