the body scan method

(by me)

get into a comfortable position that's different to how you're positioned in your DR. for example, if you're lying on your back in your DR, lie on your side here. if you're in a bed in your DR, you could be in a chair here.

do some breathing exercises, meditate, whatever floats your boat to get yourself relaxed and ready to shift

slowly do a body scan of your CR body. if you're unsure what this entails, look up yoga nidra or body scans, but basically: focus on each body part one at a time and scan your attention up from your feet to the top of your head.

as you scan, imagine the body parts you've already scanned simply fading away. this could be by visualizing them fading, or by just not feeling them anymore. you can also repeat in your head "go to sleep" before each body part, so for example, "right big toe, go to sleep. right sole of the foot, go to sleep. right heel, go to sleep," and so on

when you've completed a scan of your entire body, you should be completely numb

start a new scan, this time of your DR body in reverse. start at the top of your head, working your way down your DR body. you can also repeat in your head, "wake up" for each body part. "wake up, scalp. wake up, forehead. wake up, nose." and so on.

feel your DR body waking up as you forcibly shift your awareness to your DR body.

be in your DR

i tried channeling benedict (my twin) last night before bed and usually when i try channeling i dont really get anywhere

but i pulled the Six of Swords as the card that represents him, then Seven of Wands, Seven of Pentacles and Six of Pentacles as "what're the vibes, what're we feeling bro"

and then as an "anything else?" i got the Ten of Swords, reversed (in fact, the reversed "everything is fine" card in my deck lol)

and when I was looking up meanings (i'm a newbie) i was just struck by this overwhelming feeling of BRO, ARE YOU JUST CALLING ME HARD WORK REPEATEDLY????????

like, his card was for transition, change, distance, right of passage, releasing baggage, which yeah, considering I've yet to consciously shift and we're so far apart, it makes sense

but then the vibe check was all - according to my sheet - "hard work hard work HARD WORK HARD WORK" and like, i feel like it was more than just "ur such hard work" but i also feel like it was

"keep working hard, you've got this, dont give up!" wrapped in a bow of "you're hard work." and it makes me LAUGH

and then the extra card was just snarky but also "it's going to be okay, you'll manage"

like bro

through this method I have successfully shifted x5 and manifested a multitude of things like appearance changes!

NOTE: It's important to understand that everyone is different and personal methods (in my opinion) that are personalized for you can help connect you better with your inner self!

RELAX!!! have a cup of herbal tea <3, get into a comfortable position and just let your mind wander! I find that forcing your mind to be quiet doesn't work for me and just makes me way more stressed :(

After you feel more settled start to count your breathes (not mandatory it just relaxes me!) and affirm whatever you want (shifting or manifesting either way!) don't chant just let the feeling take you away. Feel free to move all you want while doing this, comfort is important!

as you affirm focus on the back of your eyelids, eventually I get bored of affirming and start to list facts or about my dr or whatever I'm manifesting (i.e. 'my birthday is the 3rd of January 1978' or for example with manifesting 'I always get compliments on my hair')

Finally as I start to fall asleep I affirm something along the lines of:

I shift through my sleep

As I fall asleep I fall into my dr

Also, I scripted that my alarm in my DR will wake me when I first shift, and that it'll be a clock radio (1997!) and they'll be playing the BTVS theme, except, y'know, it's just a Nerf Herder song in that reality.
