Barking Mad

DAD: You know how I like to stop and stoplights and bark at the dogs next to me to see if they’ll start barking? I just did that and the lady driving looked over and caught me in the act.

ME: …I did not know that that was something you liked to do…

DAD: Really? You can bark silently- act like your barking- and about 50% of dogs will bark back

a classic slightly off-putting intro

Introductions are clearly the worst. No matter how old a person is, being forced to share intimate details about their life with complete strangers is never going to be easy or eloquent or even tasteful. So let’s just skip the bullshit and try to forget the already awkward weirdness I’ve somehow managed to create with two sentences - or at this point, three. 

Here is the important information:

I’m a person - sorry to disappoint the alien lovers

Relatively young (when compared to the average lifespan of our species)

Conformed to societies expectations and moved 4000 miles to attend the ever important school that will inevitably not provide real life experience

Nature is nice (trees, animals, rocks, and such)

Life is shitty sometimes

Well now that we got that out the way...

Prepare yourself for my random thoughts about people, society, emotions, thoughts, spiders, time, space, tv, art, sleep, love, and maybe death if we are feeling adventurous.
