Disunity of the mind is the great wound at the heart of the cosmos. Your ship is fractured.
@intrepidheroesource intrepid heroes appreciation week ⤳ day five: favorite moment
Squak is going to just start knocking down bookshelves and things. "Do we have alcohol?"
I will never not reblog this GOD what a moment
i am an unreliable narrator both because i do not remember and also i love to lie
i feel like a lot of people see it as a flaw in storytelling when an actor's personality bleeds into or eclipses the typical characterization of their character but personally i think one of the funniest things abt taako adventurezone is that he is sometimes temporarily possessed by a deeply socially anxious nearing middle aged suburban father . its a core component of the character that i feel cannot be ignored
Lofi Study Nights at Seacaster Manor :D
"why is the character like that" >look inside character >it's the author's subconscious attempt to love themself
this is meant positively by the way. sometimes you love the character so much you end up putting a piece of yourself in it to learn how it is to love yourself without realising and thats ok.
listening to the first episode of wbn solaris and brennan is introducing his character as a drunk little robot who's put himself in a dishwasher full of sex toys as a sexual exploration thing. singing Sandy Dildo Vodka Bath. it is so stupid that he's going to make me cry about this character later
"and why should we only be allowed to sing at the completion of a task? what a joy and honor to be on our way" in the same scene. crazy work

What do you think you're trying to understand about your story?
Dimension 20: Neverafter — Episode 9, “Origins”
#the allegory to Black boyhood Lou brought to this character is simply unmatched by any other adaptation of pinocchio. it's That Good.
I'm just saying, if you're going to worldbuild magic being a "raw, primal force, akin to and interweaving with nature itself" you gotta explain to me why animals don't use it
I know the normal answer is "they just aren't smart enough for it" but idk I've seen enough media where a character uses a spell in a moment of brain-off panic ilI feel like animals could probably stumble into a spell or two like, accidentally
Also how funny would it be to see a completely normal regular bear cast magic missile outta nowhere
Also there is no way ravens wouldn't figure out spells, tbh
They're smart fuckin birds, I believe in them
Either through observing or just figuring shit out ravens could 100% learn how to cast spells I'm sure of it
Dogs can also cast Magic Missile but every time they do the projectile is shaped like a bone or a stick and they chase after it
i think the hottest look you can give someone after they commit acts of unspeakable violence is approval. like don't get me wrong if there's lust there too that's great, but staring at someone with gore dripping down their chin and coating their hands to the wrists with undisguised appraisal and admiration. maybe giving them a little nod as if to say 'well done'. THAT'S what says "yeah we're gonna fuck nasty later".
"i could fix him" well i could pat him on the head and tell him he's a good boy
the sisters :D based off kf the one scene in sophmore year right after they rescue aelwyn

crazy that you can make an oc with Issues and not even realize until months later that those are actually Your Issues
