So I wanna just do three at a time so I don’t get overwhelmed! I also have a full time job after all & I don’t want to make people wait for art while I have IRL world stuff going on!

Syrae-Universe’s Weekly Commission Sale

Unfortunately, I had to quit my job due to stress… and customers who are downright gnarly. Until I get a new job, I need to make roughly between 300-450 a week to make up the money until a new job comes through.

All commissions from this will be streamed LIVE 5 times a week. Two days a week I will be doing game streaming via twitch.

The rules are simple: First come, First serve. I will stream what is next on my list after it has been paid. Yes, you can commission while I am live if there is no line.

Gabriel smiled softly, nodding to her. “Yes. Over a thousand. Though coming across kindred that old is rare. The older you are, the more vitae you need. The oldest ones can only sustain themselves by feeding on kindred. Lest they fall to sleep. Though many have heard rumors that those who are past a thousand years old are sleeping, pulling the strings to create a play. A show or game to their liking. They get bored and often go against one another, but use us as their pawns. Some believe it to be true, others? They feel that they no longer exist in our world. They’re long since embraced their true deaths. That’s why you don’t see any old kindred about. The oldest you could meet is about perhaps… 700? 800?” He shrugged softly.

He did smile away, “If I’m a child then Novel is a fetus!” He joked, chuckling away softly. “But, she is the best person to ask for guidance, for information. She has seen all, she knows all. That’s why her title is ‘The Oracle’ in the kindred community.”

Once they were home, he unbuckled when she parked and slipped out of the car. “Honestly? I don’t know. But, I’m happy with watching whatever you would. Though, I am up for watching a few superhero movies with you until the sun is up.”

Ophelia kept her eyes on the road ahead of them but kept thinking about what Gabriel was telling her. “So...after you’re that old...” She cut off mid thought and frowned. Her face showed that something he’d said upset her but she didn’t express it more than the look on her face for some time. “Are you going to go and do something stupid like sleep forever....” She glanced at him and narrowed her eyes slightly. “I mean...If I was somehow still around....” That was assuming that she was still going to be around of course. As a ghoul or otherwise but Ophelia wasn’t sure he’d ever consider any other option than ghoul. “What am I supposed to do without you around after all...”

She exhaled softly and smiled faintly. Her tense expression relaxed as she let the conversation shift; they could talk about it later. “Okay...superheros...you really like superhero movies don’t you!!?” She found it a little funny but then, who didn’t like them. “Maybe I’ll put on some emotional love story that’ll make you cry!~ How about that!~ You’ll need a box of tissues to watch!”

“Have you seen Fault in our Stars!~ I think we’ll watch that!” She grinned over at him. “I heard it’s super sad!”

Gabriel chuckled again before listening to what she had to ask. He did buckle up before she turned on the car and drove off. “Elise? She’s nicer. Passive. She doesn’t like to fight. Then again, a blind kindred can’t do much to fight anyway. Not from what I can see so far. She likes to just listen to tales, music and travel to where her dreams take her.” His head tilted slightly,

“She is by far one of the oldest kindred you will ever meet in your entire life. She is roughly over a thousand years old. Though many speculated that she’s far more than that… No one is able to get a clear answer of it out of her or any of her accomplices. But… she does know of the situation and she does empathize what happened. She knows we’re in dire need of help, someone to interfere and remove the problem that is jepoardizing our masquerade in the city.”

He smiled out faintly to her. “She’s going to get rid of the prince, leave this place to be at peace. Hopefully. And yes, she’s not a jerk like LaCroix.”

For now, he listened to the music and her humming before both were talking idly about the trip he went on to New York. It was certainly interesting. He did tell her of things, but amusing and strange, he experienced while he was there. 

Ophelia felt a bit relieved at Gabriel’s description of Elise. Certainly she didn’t sound like LaCroix. And it would be nice to not have another prince hound them again. Ophelia was sure that the current prince would want her dead or perhaps forced into an embrace just to hurt Gabriel. 

Not a pleasant thought...

“O-over a thousand!? Your not serious are you!?” She quickly glanced at the Toreador while she drove, careful not to get too distracted. “You’re making a joke right!? That’s....” “Old. That makes you seem like a child in comparison.” She snorted.

The ghoul was happy to hear all about the trip out to New York and mentioned that next time he had to bring her. “I haven’t been over that side of the country before...although I suppose new york city can’t look much different than LA or any other city. Tall buildings, lights, taxies.” “What movie do you want to watch tonight?” She asked as they pulled into the parking space at their shared home; a thought that would make her blush as much as it would make her happy. It was to keep her safe but....she did like it here. “Your choice!~”

Gabriel laughed softly, “I’m not going to ask Kelsey to change me. I like my overall look as it is. Maybe make my hair longer or shorter, but nothing about facial hair.” He reached up to stroke his chin.

He did smile away when hearing her that they are to stay away. He nodded softly with a silent breath. “The spa is what we both need. To unwind after a long and exhausting time with him around. So don’t worry. And yes, you’ll get to meet her. She’s one of the most reasonable Toreador you could ever meet. And she won’t have any issue with you. I assure you, Mockingbird.” He rubbed her back softly with a slow breath, keeping his eyes on her most of the time. “So don’t worry so much over Elise. She may be an elder, but she is quite the elder you could speak to for help.”

He chuckled faintly again, reaching into his pocket to pull out the keys, lightly tossing them into the air for her to catch, “I don’t see why not. You’re already on my car insurance to drive. And I trust you, Mockingbird.”

He did cringe a little when hearing her shout out to Dante. Though there was no response. Probably because he’s still eating his pizza in silence. Gabriel did slip into the passenger’s seat to let her drive for now. “It’ll be nice to be with you and Puck alone again. Spend time with my close loved ones." 

Ophelia grinned wide and nodded. “And me and Nathan would tease you if you got grey hair or a weird beard!” “He’s been around as long as I’ve known you! That’s not to say that being around you has been exhausting...but it will be nice to just....relax with you! You know...” She caught the keys and grinned. “...it will be so much better without him...”  She stooped, stepping into the car and sitting down in the driver's seat. “More normal...If he wasn’t around when I uh....snooped. I’m sure we probably wouldn’t have had that near-death fiasco!” Ophelia smiled, but that night where she’d been kidnapped and almost murdered was still one that she’d have a nightmare or two about.

“Hell, maybe that Gangrel would have actually been caught with a bloodhunt or something...”

“So this Elise...is a lot nicer? Or at least less....um....Well she’d not a dickbag like LaCroix? Did you tell her about everything that’s happened....?” Starting up the car she stared to pull out of the driveway, pausing at the gate unable to pass until it was opened up again for them and continued on onto the road. 

“And I’m a perfectly good driver!!!!” With that she stuck out her tongue and grinned away! “But thanks!~ It’s nice to have you back home...I missed you.” Slightly flushed she refused to look at him while she was driving but still smiled faintly. “Puck will be happy to see you again too!~”

With a few quick adjustments she turned on the radio quietly and hummed along with a song that came on for the rest of the way towards home! Only pausing to ask a thing or two about how the trip to New York went.

Gabe narrowed his eyes at Ophelia when she shouted with a laugh regarding both Nathan and her agreeing on something. He shook his head with a light laugh. “Stopit. Both of you. You never know!” He waved his hand lightly befroe looking at his brother.

Nathan nodded softly. “Of course you’re more than welcome to come anytime, Ophelia. You are like family here. Doors are always open to you.”

Gabriel nodded softly, “Of course we’re still doing that. Can’t let Novel’s gift go to waste, hm? And we definitely need the spa night together. Just to soak our woes away.” He smiled away, turning off to head out. He did reach out to hook his brother’s arm to hug it somewhat. “I’ll see you later, brother.”

“And you as well, Gabriel. You two have a good evening. And give Puck a good bellyrub for me, would you?” Nathan nodded to the two, patting Gabe’s back until he let go.

Gabriel walked towards the front door, reaching over to slowly slip his arm around Ophelia’s. “Don’t worry, he’s not stepping one foot in our haven. And he is as you said. But don’t worry. We just need to deal with it for another week or two, then he’ll be out of our hair.” He hoped it will be the end of it. Especially since he just wants to relax with Ophelia, with his loved ones. That’s all he truly ever wanted.

Ophelia couldn’t help but to giggle at Gabriel as he was getting teased by not only herself but his brother. “I suppose we will never know!~” “But...I like you the way you are!~” She smiled, a blush spreading a bit to her ears as she turned her attention away from his face. “So don’t go asking Kelsey to give you grey hair or wrinkles anything weird like that!!!!” “Next thing we’ll know and you’ll start saying you’ll look good with a neckbeard!!!” She was trying to keep it light, blowing off that she was very close to just calling him handsome the way he was and that was that!

“As long as LaCroix and none of his goons come after me for the night then I’ll be happy....” It was only a few more weeks and then freedom, yet it felt so far off. “Hopefully the spa will make the time go by quickly...even a few weeks feels like a lifetime with that jerk around...Will I meet the new Prince after? Or will she have an issue with me? Or...” Ophelia worried at her bottom lip, biting it gently.

She gladly took his arm and curled an arm around his. “Oh!~ Can I drive home?” Reaching, she stuck her hand out for the keys, a smile on her face! “You always drive!”

As they left the building Ophelia turned, pulling her arm from Gabriel’s and called out again for Dante. “Night Dante! See you when Syne gets home!!!! We’ll visit then!”

WIth that, she continued on their way to the car and hopped in.

Gabriel huffed softly, “How is it my fault that I’m such a scaredy cat! Kindred fear hunters! Especially when they are absolutely livid.” He pointed off. Though, he did chuckle softly. “It seems like a fun thing to do to me.” He almost mused, pocketing his hands with a grin on his face.

Nathan shook his head with a silent snicker of his own. “He’ll definitely say he looks dashing in greys. Maybe even a beard.”

“I would!” Gabriel piped up.

“You would look weird, brother. Forget about the concept.” He laughed again before shaking his head a bit more.

Gabriel pouted softly, “I would…” He muttered before turning his head over to Ophelia as she frowned softly. “Well I do, but I want to spend some time with you and Puck. I’ve missed you both the most…” His head lowered slightly. “Is that wrong?”

Nathan waved his hand, “I have to finish another chapter for my book, otherwise I have nothing else to do. It’s quite tasking.”

Ophelia’s phone would chime. Syne had returned a message, saying she’s happy to hear that Dante took the apologized and didn’t threaten anymore. She did loosely warn Ophelia about his dry, crude jokes are not to be taken seriously.

Gabriel laughed softly, “He’ll lick my face right off of me!” He chuckled a bit more afterwards. He did miss the little puppy, though. He had grown attached to him as much as he had grown attached to his ghoul.

“Oh, if they do try, I have ways to get rid of them. I’m not letting him come after you. Not while I’m still about.” He patted her back softly, “Come. I miss being alone with you and Puck. I want to watch some movies before sunrise.”

Ophelia laughed again. “You’re not ONLY afraid of Hunters! I don’t think that’s an excuse!!!” “You make it so easy to tease you!~ But I don’t mean it to be mean to you...” Her head tilts to one side, a grin on her face. She did like teasing him but she didn’t want to hurt his feelings at all! “YOU SEE!!!! HE AGREES!” Ophelia grinned, chuckling and happy that Nathan at least agree’d with her! “Chickadeeee! You would look weird with grey hairs and a bears! And I like how you look! You look....fine!” A blush was faint on her cheeks but definitely there!

“Wellllll....” She thought about it and sighed. “Okay! But we have to come back when Syne gets here! Before whenever we leave for the Spa...we are still doing that right?” The ghoul was looking forward to that!!!! A spa was definitely what they needed! Some good ol’ rest and relaxation. No worries....

Peace!

“Your face will be fine!” She laughed softly. “But I guess we should go, make sure puck gets food and let out and then all night movie night!~”  She walked over to Nathan and smiled; her arms were held open for a hug. “We’ll see you after Syne comes back, okay?”

“I know you won’t, but I really don’t like being in the same room with them...even with you there...” She returned to Gabriel’s side and smiled up at him. “...LaCroix is an asshat...”

 She was ready to go home now, at least for the rest of the night they could have a bit of fun to themselves. She’d missed time with Gabriel while he was away!!!

Dante waved his hand in the air again before parking himself in one of the many lawnchairs in the backyard. He was going to idle there  to eat the meal in peace. He did pull out his phone to thumb over what messages he had gotten. Many from a notable woman he hadn’t seen for a few days.

Gabriel rolled his eyes, reaching over to gently push her shoulder with a soft chuckle. He walked onward to the manor with her at his side.

Dante kept his eyes on the two, mostly making sure nothing will spring out to attack the two. “Still not happy what he did, but I guess it’s under the bridge now.” He mumbled to himself, setting the phone to play a song while he idly enjoyed his meal for the evening.

Nathan closed the book from reading it, standing up and stepping out of his study with it in tow, smiling away. “Well I’m relieved that he stood up to the lion and survived it.”

“Oh shush.” Gabriel chuckled, looking at Ophelia once more with a smile. “So, shall we get going? I bet Puck misses us dearly. I know he would love to play and be tuckered out.”

Ophelia shoved back, getting into the small nudging and shoving war with a grin on her face. “Well we wouldn’t me joking around and teasing you if you weren’t such a scaredy cat!~ So it’s your own fault!”

“You shouldn’t worry so much, your going to get grey hair!” She rolled her eyes. “...and I think i’ve told you that before! So...Don’t you tell me that you’d look dashing some grey’s...” She teased again with a grin still present.

“Oh?” She turned her head, a slight frown there. “Is it late yet? You just got back? Don’t you want to stay a bit longer?!....Unless Nathan’s got work to do...” She glanced over to the other brother and smiled. “But we can if you want.” Ophelia pulled out her phone and quickly typed away what had happened and the good news. Since Dante accepted the apology and everything... Hopefully after this everything would chill out.

“I guess since you were away for a while Puck will want to lick your face a bunch!~” She giggled softly when she imagined it. Puck was no doubt doing to try his very hardest to lick the toreador as much as he’d let him!!!! “Since LaCroix and Bella probably know your back already they wont pay any visit...I hope anyway...” The blond twisted her fingers into knocks and looked downwards, nervous.

Gabriel stared, looking a bit flabergasted as to what happened. Dante didn’t snap back. He didn’t even give a quip or state he’s still irate to what happened. All he had to do… was apologize? Or was all of this Syne’s doing? Sometimes, it was hard to tell with Syne, she was quite the brains to Dante’s brauns.

His brow faintly lofted, feeling Ophelia’s smile beaming. He looked to her with a faint smile, feeling already better than before.

Dante waved his hand after stuffing half a slice into that gab of his. “Mmph.” He called out in reaction, turning around to point at her. “You two lovebirds go do your thing. I’m hiding with this beauty to enjoy.”

Dante shook his head before hooking Ophelia’s arm, “Let’s go back inside and tell Nathan the news.”

Ophelia might have laughed at Gabriel’s expression if she wasn’t so relieved that Dante had accepted the apology! Instead she quickly gave a light squeeze  on his arm when he looped her arm and grinned up at him! 

‘See, everything was fine’ she seemed to say in her expression! “Alright!” Ophelia agreed and nodded her head. Nathan should be happy about this as well! And for that matter she’d text Syne and tell her how well that had gone! She’d probably want to know that her husband was behaving! 

Ophelia had a bit of a bounce in her step as she pulled gently to head back inside. “See you Dante!~” The blond gave a short wave at the hunter and turned back to head inside. 

Once back inside she called out. “Hey Nathan! We survived despite Gabriel’s fears!~” She teased and nudged Gabriel with a grin!

“Then clearly you don’t know me well. I’m the king of dry and crude jokes.” He thumbed himself almost with a smile on his face that made him looked quite the fool. “But fine. I’ll keep my crude jokes to myself. Happy?” His head tilted slightly, pocketing his hands loosely with the thumbs out.

“Hey, you’re saying like it’s a bad thing.” He was piping up when hearing the word ‘lazy’ from her mouth.

Gabriel blinked, trying to stay behind her but failing so when she kept moving away. He was still nervous about the whole thing. Though, he was more so scared that Dante will snap and just attack him. The man is a monster. More monster than Gabriel or Nathan could ever be in their life. Or unlife to put it.

He smiled nervously at Dante when stared at long enough. Though, he was taking deep breaths, mustering what courage he had inside.

Dante shrugged faintly. “I am lazy when there’s nothing to do. I do it at home. No big surprise there.” He did reach out with that hand, fingers wiggling to touch the box. “Hey-”

The box was pulled away. Dante’s eyes narrowed a bit, staring at her. “You shouldn’t wave food in front of a hungry man, things can-”

“Dante, look.”

“…” Dante glanced at Gabriel once more.

“I’m sorry for what I did to Syne. I’m sorry for hurting her. I’m sorry for nearly killing her.” He started out. “You know I wouldn’t harm a fly. I’m too… piss scared to hurt a fly and would probably roll up into a ball of bloodtears on the ground in the bathroom. But I know what I did was inexcusable. But I had no control over it. I had no idea where I was. I was too busy wanting to think and do terrible things to that damn bastard after what happen to Ophelia. And I snapped when the stake was pulled out. For what it’s worth. I am truly… honestly sorry for attacking Syne and I would do anything to make it up to you and to her.” And yet, Gabriel’s eyes show genuine expression.

The man stared for a moment, immediately swiping the box. “Peace. That’s all I wanted to hear from you.” He opened the box to grab a slice, grinning again. “So untwist your panties already…” He turned and moved off a few steps, taking a bit out of it with almost a normal smile on his face. “Man, this is good…” He chewed away. 

“Well it’s not a good thing is it! Your suppose to be guarding Gabriel’s Hermit brother!” A joke from Ophelia. Since Nathan never seemed to leave his home, it seemed appropriate! Though honestly the likelihood of anyone coming here to fuck with him had to be pretty low.

Ophelia wasn’t going to let Dante leap at or even threaten Gabriel, but she also wasn’t going to allow the Grown-ass Vampire-man hide behind her like a cowering child!!! “Yeah well you can’t have it until..” The blonde cut off as Gabriel started to say something.  She was pretty surprised to see him stepping up to talk to Dante!!! She expected maybe some idle chat but...

Gabriel had a full speech prepared!!!

Ophelia exhaled some, a smile on her face and she looped her arm with Gabriel’s again once Dante had snatched the Pizza box away from her and began eating it.

It was actually pretty amazing to see that Dante accepted Gabriel’s apology! Though she still doubted everything would go back to how it was, but at least Dante accepted that Gabriel was sorry for what had happened!

She turned her head to look up at the toreador with a grin on her face like ‘ see, not so bad?’ He’d done it!!!

Turning back to Dante Ophelia smiled and joked. “Try not to leave too many crumbs on the roof, it will attract birds!~”

The tall hunter didn’t respond to her words about the jump. It was normal for him. Then again, he has jumped from higher places to the ground. His knees might hate him later in the future. But so far? He’s just fine as it is.

However, his brow did lift up slightly when seeing those eyes narrow at him. Oh, so she’s going to take the joke seriously? Quite protective over tohe Toreador it seems. His hands dropped afterwards when she said she’ll eat it all by herself. Turning his head, he took a step back with a deep breath before glancing at Ophelia once more. “It’s a joke. Beating him is going to make it worse. Just take the joke lightly, lady…” He lifted his hands with a slight shrug.

“But, I do want that pizza. It smells great from where I’m standing.” He had that grin on his face again. “I’m guessing this is a peace offering? Or just considerate of me to make sure I eat?” His head tilted slightly, pointing at the box.

Gabriel blinked a few times, shaking his head a few times before moving to be behind Ophelia. “I’m fine, Mockingbird. Just… caught off guard.” His words hushed a little.

“Relax. I’m not going to maim you. Whatever frustration I had was used up in the Sabbat masacre Cherry and I had done.” He crossed his arms against his chest.

“Then… why are you hiding out here instead of inside doing the usual patrol?” Gabriel muttered softly.

Dante shrugged softly. “Who knows. This mind of mine is quite the mystery, even to Cherry. Now, for the pizza-” He moved closer to Ophelia, reaching out to take, but not unless she offered it up. He was not the type to swipe. Not yet, at least.

Ophelia was still a little miffed at the hunter despite his saying it was a joke. She wasn’t going to take it lightly when he threatened Gabriel!!! This woman was going to be protective as all hell!!!! “Well don’t make jokes like that when the people around you don’t know they’re really jokes....” What she meant really was that everyone was still jumpy. It wasn’t a very good time to make ‘jokes; about it. They didn’t know if he still wanted to do Gabriel or other kindred for that matter some bodily harm.

Plus, Gabriel was still nervous around him. That much should be obvious!

“It was a cruel joke...but you can have the pizza. It’s suppose to be kind of a peace offering...but you should eat If you haven't been....” She tilted her head and finally smiled faintly. 

Ophelia sidestepped, making it impossible for Gabriel to stay behind. She made a small ‘nu-uh you don’t’ mutter towards him as she wasn’t letting him hide.

“He’s just being lazy...” She nudged the toreador lightly with a toothy grin on her face. She was trying  to get the two the interact even a little in a light hearted manner. “We’ve seen him lazing up there before haven’t we? Nathan even knew he lounges up there! It’s no secret!”

Ophelia held the box over to him but pulled back for a moment to lock eyes. “So...peace?” She’d give it over once he said yes.

Ophelia gave them both a quirky grin when they were indeed both there. “Well I’m a little surprised!” She continued with same grin on her face. “I almost expected you to get cold feet before you got back and try to lock yourself in.” 

She might have looped her arm around his to make sure he couldn’t run off, but her arms were full of pizza. “I will run after you if you try to flee and drag you back!!!!” She warned with a teasing smile. “So don’t try!” “Lets go fine him!~ …Nathan you said he was outside doing patrols?” 

It was possible that the hunter was just on the roof, or they could just go outside and yell for him. Yelling “PIZZA” as loud as she could could probably do the trick.  She started out towards the direction of the door, assuming Gabriel was going to follow. “We’ll be back Nathan!~” In one peice as long as this didn't’ go badly! She didn’t exactly expect it to go to terribly though. “Help me look okay Chickadee?~”

Gabriel stared at Ophelia when told she was surprised. His head shook with a breath. “And what, have you break down the door and chase me? I rather not go through that.” He laughed faintly, feeling his arm being looped by hers and kept from running away. “And pretty much I am locked now.” He gave another short chuckle.

He knew she would chase after him. Then again he had yet to teach her a stronger celerity to chase. He might have a chance… but he never wanted to upset her. Not at all. “I’m not planning to try.”

“Hm? Yes, he’s outside doing patrols.” He pointed off to the doors that lead to the backyard from the main room. “You should be able to catch him easily. Though, he might be hanging out on the rooftop. He likes lazing up there at most times.” He did lift his hand to wave at the two, hopefully this will work for them.

Gabriel turned and followed along Ophelia’s side with a smile on his face. “A-alright, Mockingbird.” He looked over to the door, stopping ot open it up and let her out first. Once she stepped out, he followed after, hesitant on closing the door. He glanced around with a hind of nervousness. “I don’t see him out here on patrol. Maybe he went to hide and slack off?”

Ophelia laughed, head tilted back and letting out the sound loudly. “You know i would chase you down and tackle you and drag you back!!!” She nudged him playfully with a grin.  “Better not!~” She giggled softly and led him along with her.  Looking around the yard she concluded that Gabriel was probably right and Dante had run off to be lazy. Maybe on the roof, or in some other hiding spot.  “So…what do you suggest? Yelling really loudly to get his attention?” She lifted an eyebrow and smiled faintly. “It could work…” Ophelia backed up, trying to stare up at the roof where Dante might be. Walking around she was trying to see up on all angles possible.  She nudged Chickadee lightly, again. “Can you use Auspex to find him?….”

“DANTE?” She shouted up towards the roof, an effort to get him out at least. Maybe he’d hear. “We. Got. Food!”

He shook his head, “I’m not going to even try, Mockingbird.” He pushed her side a little with a faint chuckle.

He stopped to look around to see that the hybrid has not been seen. His eyes narrowed a bit. “Hm. Shouting might not be a good idea. But, it never hurts to try. Hopefully the neighbors don’t complain.” He mumbled faintly. He didn’t want the cops to be called on his brother just from shouting.

“Alright.” He smiled before eyes opened up a bit more, now looking around. With Auspex triggered, he can now see all around him. “Ah, there he is.” He did look over to the rooftop. Seeing the faint aura there hinted that Dante was up there relaxing. “I swear, this man is strange to an extent.”

He did flinch when Ophelia shouted at the rooftop. It was enough to get the man’s attention. “Please don’t shout, otherwise he-”

Dante was off that roof fast. He kicked off the edge and landed right in front of the two in a crouch before he slowly stood up. “You just said the magic words to get me down here.” He spoke out, dusting the tail end of his coat with a grin on his face.

“Eeeeeee-” Gabriel prolonged, seizing up on movements as he lost all that courage. Now, he was like a petrified little kid, unable to think as Dante just stared at him.

“… I think he’s broken. You might need to get him fixed. Or, you know-” He lifted his hands, curling one other the other just to crack his knuckles. “I could.”

“I doubt anyone is going to complain about me yelling once for someone...” She rolled her eyes and smiled to herself.

She was happy to see that Dante did reply to the call for food. It was like magic with him just jumping down. She flinched a tiny bit when he jumped and landed though. “Wow...that was pretty cool....” Gabriel though apparently was NOT thinking it was pretty cool. 

Ophelia narrowed her eyes at Dante as soon as he flexed and cracked his knuckles. “Well, We came to give you this....but maybe if you're going to threaten to “fix” him I can just eat it by myself...unless you want to play nice.” She was pretty much done with Dante’s attitude. He was bigger and stronger than her, but she was DONE!!!! If he had anything else to say or threaten towards Gabriel she’d just get Sin. “...so if you're just gonna be mean then I’ll just take it home...” Ophelia stared straight up at him, eyes staring unfalteringly up at him. “I thought that you’d like it anyway...” She huffed, looking vaguely annoyed at the threat towards Gabriel.”Chickadee...snap out of it.” She balanced the pizza on one hand and touched Gabriel’s shoulder.

Ophelia gave them both a quirky grin when they were indeed both there. “Well I’m a little surprised!” She continued with same grin on her face. “I almost expected you to get cold feet before you got back and try to lock yourself in.” 

She might have looped her arm around his to make sure he couldn’t run off, but her arms were full of pizza. “I will run after you if you try to flee and drag you back!!!!” She warned with a teasing smile. “So don’t try!” “Lets go fine him!~ …Nathan you said he was outside doing patrols?”

Nathan shrugged softly as Gabriel got up and headed off to the bathroom. He did chuckle faintly, “It would be entertaining to see you chase him throughout the manor.” He waved his hand lightly.

Though, he reclined in his spot. “A lot of the anger towards us was directed at the Sabbat, thanks to Novel.” He picked up his tea to drink while Gabriel disappeared from the study room. He did glance at Ophelia once more. “Alright, I’ll let him know.” He waved his hand again, standing up fully. He was going to go find his brother and make sure he’ll be perfectly fine.

Once Ophelia returned and into the library, she would find the two talking over some tea. Gabriel turned his head over to Ophelia with a faint chuckle. “Yes, I’m done staring at myself. I’m still a smidge nervous… but better late the never.” He pushed off the chair to move towards Ophelia, ready to get going. “Let’s do this before I get cold feet…"

Ophelia sent back a message quickly, fighting a blush on her face. ‘You make it sound like it’s more than it is…It’s just to relax. I have no idea what you mean by details. If you want I can always take pictures of the rooms we get and the scenery! I mean after all this with LaCroix and the Gangrel…’

The ghoul’s stern expression relaxed when he said he would. She expected him to resist and say no. After all she knew that he was afraid of Dante the way he was now. Angry and bitter! “Thank you Chickadee…”  Despite how adamant she was about this, she did know that everything in him must be screaming not to go. So she appreciated that he wasn’t fighting her on this.

“You have 20 minutes to mentally prepare yourself to give a hunter…a pizza.” She smiled faintly. Out of context this would be extremely funny. She pocketed her phone and sat with legs crossed over one another. “I’m sure he won’t hurt you Gabriel…maybe just glare at you. But if giving a thousand pizza’s would help then it’s worth it.” Even if it was temporary she hopped it would help. “And I don’t think he’d attack you in front of me anyway! Maybe just glare at you…and…If he does make one threat I just have to call Syne and she’ll tell him off!!! I’m sure of it!”

Gabriel smiled softly, seeing that expression soften considerably. It was nice to see her calm down and ease up when hearing that he’ll do it. Sure, he’s afraid of Dante. He’s terrified at the thought of being ripped to shreds. He’s mentally panicking, but he’ll be fine.

He nodded to her, standing up and walking off. “I need to use the john. At least to calm myself in the mirror.” He exhaled softly, feeling like he’s about to release the bottled up tea in his system.

Nathan chuckled silently, looking at Ophelia. “He won’t attack. He’s still upset about it all, but I think he’ll be able to be talked to much more easily than before. So I think you’ll be fine. And if he attacks, just like you said. Let Syne know.” He sat upright.

She was a bit confused why he was going to the bathroom until he added about calming himself down. She immediately giggled. “Oh! Come’on now! It’s not so scary you need to stare at yourself in the mirror!” She didn’t stop him from going though, only catching his hand briefly and then letting the grip slip free. “Better not be planning on fleeing cause I’ll come running after you!”

“I know. I thought he was going to hurt Gabriel right after...but right now. Enough time has passed....I think.” She didn’t think he was an immediate threat to Gabe’s safety. He was just making everything unpleasant here! Broken trust making everything feel tense.

She stared after Gabriel for a while before sighing. “Let him know when he comes back I went out to wait for the Pizza...I’ll be back soon.” Standing she made her way back to the front door, and out to walk towards the gate where she could wait for the pizza guy. Patiently she’d wait for a short time before a young teenager appeared, stepping out of the delivery car. A quick exchange of money for food and she was making her way back to the house. Steaming pizza in hand...

“Hey, I’m back...” She called as she entered through the front door again. “Is Gabriel done staring at himself yet...?” She poked her head into the library again with a grin on her face.
