âThe worst? Mutants ripped out of their bed and arrested - Mutant children being kidnapped and experimented on and used - these are the worst.â Eyes narrowing a bit at the other. The frown she was wearing deepened as he spoke again. âExperienced the brunt of the force? What force is that, Luke?âÂ
âYes precisely, I agree...-I suppose the best way to put it is that it is all a lot to adjust to; not being from this time and all.â Vision attempted to explain, understanding if he didnât put the effort in he often sounded like a computer reading off facts. âI mean humans or at least some humans especially those in power had a dislike of Mutants in the time iâm from but even I never saw it going this way.â He admitted with a nod of sorts. âI just meant youâre from this time, and I assume youâve either seen or experienced things due to that...and I am sorry. The person I love is a Mutant, I feel my world would crumble if I lost her in the way so many people have lost people they care about.â
ofwitchismsâ:
Without the fear, without the pain, without the feeling of loss, she found herself different than the Wanda that had been asleep. It doesnât cross her mind just yet as to why she feels different. Of how she feels different. No, the only thought in her mind was how much she missed HIM. How selfish of her and how she truly did not care of such a thing. Memories were still quite hazy for her however as for a brief moment she doesnât realize how she made it from the party or how she ended up in bed. She doesnât realize that she hadnât been dreaming of the darkness or Charles, but had instead been living it for the past few days. Essentially locked in her mind.
But that doesnât matter because her cheeks warm when he turned to her and the gentle kiss he placed upon the back of her hand. Oh how her heart swelled and she couldnât contain her smile. âI am okay.â she promises as her free hand meets one of his cheeks and fingers brush against it. âYou neednât worry my love.â The stone might be what original connected the two but she shows him that sheâs alright with a warm feeling she shares with her touch. âI am sorry I worried you, Vision.â That much she knew for certain and how sheâs reminded that she had been trying to get back to him to show him that when she realized what was happening, knowing that heâd be worried for her and be a mess. A mess that Wanda would gladly work to ease.
âI feel better than Iâve felt in a very long time.â she reveals as fingers dance along his jawline.Â
The difference was almost radiating from her, he could feel it and see it like some warm aura that no longer had so much pain and turmoil surrounding it. While he perhaps shouldâve been questioning the sudden loss of such a thing, he found himself too occupied with the fact she was happy and not just the kind she tended to show when others were around. He was glad for it, more so than he could be for most things.
âThe day I donât worry will be most concerning...-â he insisted, not just to reassure her that she had little to apologize for but because he truly felt as if losing such a thing would place him in his own turmoil. Though he certainly found himself easing some at the warmth of her touch, causing him to produce a soft chuckle. âI suppose as others would say, you drive me crazy.â And to be insane because of her would be a gift, even if it were his attempt at a light hearted jest that simply ended with a soft grin on his part.Â
Vision offered a nod at that, the soft grin remaining for a moment. âI can feel it..â he admitted with ease before becoming curious. âTell me what youâre thinking?â he requested, sure he sometimes found himself in her dreams but more often than not, it wasnât so easy to guess what she was thinking from moment to moment.Â

A girl is out of town for a few days and comes back to this - sounds about right.Â
âYes I am starting to find that the worst is indeed to be expected.â Vision added more out of witnessing the way things ran, more over having any real experience in anything yet. It was rather hard to help anyone with the risks that came with allowing his natural form to be on show. So instead, he remained in human form which tended to take a little of his concentration to do so. He dealt with such however because it kept people he cared about safe. âI assume unlike myself, you have experienced the brunt of the force?â

@anthropoidximitation
Thereâs something about being human and being HAUNTED. To live every day with a pain that only weighed you down and held you back, you adapted of course. Yet when the darkness cleared and the pain was gone Wanda found herself startled for the briefest moment. Her mind had been plagued â so much that it had weakened and darkened her heart, and without it, it was like⊠Like she could breathe again without inhaling tiny shards of glass. Her mind was no longer a thing she feared and for just a moment she enjoyed it.
Thereâs a sweet gentle whisper that flows through her and she feels h i m. By this point sheâs certain that he can sense her stirring. Her fingers moving as she awakens and her eyes slowly open. Instinctively they move until they land upon him once more.
âV I S I O N.â the way she says his name is thick adoration and a smile on her lips.Â
It were in moments such as this that he found himself fully appreciating the connection they had due to the stone; to know when she was settled and indeed know when she wasnât. Although at the best of times he did not need the stone to know when she was in pain or hurting because he could see it behind her eyes. In turn all he would ever do is attempt to bring her the smaller slither of happiness that he could manage to muster up within her and with that he could feel his own.Â
Heâd been reading, only to aid in the hours passing by a little easier when he indeed felt her stir and placed the book to the side. A soft smile making its way onto his lips.Â
âYouâre okay.â Simple words, spoken both for her and for himself as he hadnât been sure she would be and it brought him more joy than he could perhaps express to know that she was.He did not take a moment in lifting one of her hands to his lips and placing a kiss against the back of it. âI was so worried...-if anything had happened to you...â He shook his head as if to dismiss the thought, though the simple truth was he wouldnât have forgiven himself. Â
ofgolemsâ:
Children, little girls especially, often found themselves with heroes. Sometimes good and sometimes badâŠ. Her mother was Jane Foster so of course Lottie wouldâve found herself sitting around her mother as she told tales of heroes â and the few female heroes that had existed before the world went to hell. Scarlet Witch had been one of her heroes. To know that she was alive and in the underground had caused her to sneak in, though not very well considering she had one of her golems with her. It stood out with so many inches between them. Her being the shortest of the two. A hand resting gently on itâs cloaked arm. Her eyes fell to Vision.
âIâŠâ She what? âI heard she was here and I wanted toâŠâ Wanted to what? What did she want to do? âPay my respects, I suppose.â But now that she saw him her lips frowned even further. âCan I get you anything? You look like you need a break.âÂ
The underground had become a place of safety for just about anyone that wasnât on the opposing side, Vision was thankful of course because had they not existed he was unsure of the refuge he or indeed any other Avenger for that matter could find. Being familiar enough with a majority of the folk in the Underground made an unfamiliar voice stand out which was the reason a brow was raised and he found himself curious to the reason for their visit until it was indeed made clear.
âThank you,â he offered the best smile he could manage. âI am sure she would appreciate it.â Vision added though in earnest he wasnât sure completely what sheâd be thankful for right now.Shaking his head for a moment as he peered from Wanda to the female, he let out a small sigh. âI donât require anything...-â not food, not water....not sleep or at least not in the same sense that humans experienced it. And the last thing he could think about was taking a break. âPerhaps, though that can wait until sheâs okay.â
wiccanofwitchâ:
The love between the android and mutant was evident simply on how Vision spoke of Wanda. The idea of artificial intelligence forming emotions for a witch sounded so foreign but, Vision made it sound so normal. âWe wonât lose her, Vision.â We. The word slipped out of his lips so casually even though he wasnât close to the two of them but, he meant it. They werenât going to lose her. Billy refused to think otherwise; to let even the thought of her remaining in this current state hurt him. âSheâll get out of this.â He said, reassuring Vision but mostly himself.Â
âShe mentioned me?â His gaze shifted over to the sleeping Wanda, feeling touched by the thought of her liking him. He couldnât help it as a small smile formed on his lips despite the dark situation they were in. âI didnât think I was worth mentioning.â He admitted, not feeling like he was an good enough topic for a conversation.Â
If it had been anyone else, he was sure he wouldâve questioned the use of we but for the same odd feeling as where the familiarity came from, Vision couldnât help but notice how it seemed to make sense & how the boyâs words did bring a comfort to the android even if it didnât make any sense for them to do such a thing. âSheâs a survivor...-â was the only response he could think up. He knew the pain she was in however, even if she didnât speak it out loud and even when she seemed happy he could feel it all.Â
âIt is the people who believe they are worth little, that tend to be worth far more than they know.â Vision added with a warm smile of sorts, he knew full well that Wanda could certainly relate to that notion or perhaps it was just a bias in his mind considering what she meant to him but either way sheâd only spoken nice things about the young male. âAnd I am sure if she were aware right now, she would tell you the same....-though perhaps in far fewer words.â he offered lightheartedly. âyouâre a good kid, it seems uncommon in this time to be able to remain that way.â Because war in any capacity, whether it be the more obvious versions of battle or just conflict due to one species hunting another, often changed people...made them put up walls so they didnât get hurt.Â
wiccanofwitchâ:
Billy nodded at the androidâs decline of his offer. âOffer will always be there if you need it.â He said with a momentary, reassuring smile. He wished there was more that he could do to help ease their pain; the both of them. And it was strange, Billy could swear he could feel the pain the Wanda was feeling like Vision was. Like he had some connection to Wanda that allowed him to do so just as much as Vision could, if not more.Â
He stepped into the room a bit more, getting a good glance of Wanda in the background. The sight was rather ironic as she looked fine yet, there were horrors hiding behind that illusion. Horrors only Wanda feared for. âIâm sure we all want to help ease her pain.â God, how he wished he could magically say the words and she would be awake again. To no longer experience the pain that many of them were already broken out of. He sighed, placing a firm hand on Visionâs shoulder to reassure him. âBut there isnât much we can do.âÂ
âI know, only she can truly break out of it but I fear she won't...-I fear that sheâll get lost in a way she canât come back from.â She was the first person he had felt true fear for and he was sure she would be the last, the hand on his shoulder however made him raise a slight brow, some question of familiarity coming up even though theyâd only met once prior. He wished he could talk to someone about it, ask if it was normal...but since such things werenât offered he gave the younger male a small and yet warm smile.Â
Something heâd often question was love, why humans choose to enter into it and she had been his answer. âI love her, it broke her having to witness my death all those years ago...and she feels so alone in there...I just...-cannot lose her.â He admitted with far more ease than he could explain before another smile passed. âSheâd appreciate that you are here however..she mentioned that she liked you.â
wiccanofwitchâ:
That entire night was a complete mess and if Billy had someone to say âI told you soâ to, he would have been all up in their face about it but, it wasnât the time to do so. He knew everyone was still trying to comprehend the events of Halloween, trying to cope with whatever form of fear they had experienced.
He was about to knock on their door the moment Vision spoke. He retracted his hand and peered around the room, catching a glimpse of Wanda. âI was actually wondering if maybe you needed anything.â He took a step into the doorway, rubbing his hand against his elbow nervously. âHowâs Wanda?â
âThank you...but there isnât a thing I can think of.â It wasnât as if he needed to eat or sleep for that matter, he often did it out of good measure because it helped the hours pass but he appreciated the offer regardless as he was sure Wanda wouldâve if sheâd been aware. Vision had a strange familiar feeling regarding the boy from the moment theyâd first met and while he could not place it, it certainly came as some slight comfort that he was here.
His question caused Vision to glance toward her, another inaudible sigh escaping before he gave some reply. âThe same...still no signs of waking up yet.â He allowed the stone that naturally rested within his form to appear on his forehead for a moment. âI feel her though, I suppose it has always been something to do with the stone...-â he pointed briefly, causing it to glow for a moment. âIt was used to create me and it gave her the power she had....all I feel is pain and agony. I wish I could get into her mind, tell her she isnât alone.â But he couldnât and that hurt far more than most things.
Wanda was safe but that didnât stop him from worrying; he could feel her, heâd always been able to in some capacity and all he could feel was her pain, that she felt alone and if it were so easy to kill him...he was sure heâd be dying right now.Â
But he remained with her even if she remained unaware of such things, feeling such a sense of UNEASE as he sensed some change in her emotions: fear, sadness. God it was as if with each part it was tearing a small fraction of him away.Â
Reaching to brush some hair away from her face, he found himself distracted by footsteps turning to see who had entered.Â
âYes?...How can I help?â he wondered if theyâd come to ask about her or if this was something else entirely; he wasnât sure how well heâd be able to cope if it were the latter option.Â
bowenxtandyâ:
Due to all the hopes and fears she had seen back in New Orleans she hadnât been as affected as the other people here seemed to be by those dreams. Tandy had gotten pretty good at telling real from fake due to that. Itâs just that people seeing their worst nightmares reminded her of Tyroneâs powers and she couldnât lie to herself and say she didnât miss him. âCan you stop staring at me? Iâm fine. Not everyoneâs a wreck after these hallucinations.âÂ
His intention was never to appear as if he were staring but he certainly had forgotten that when a person was in thought, it often appeared that way. Vision had his reasons however, and none of them were to do with being a wreck himself but rather that Wanda had yet to wake up and his fear of not being able to save her from something seemed to remain real.Â
Heâd only left her because someone had convinced him it was smart to get out even for a small time period, though it never helped; he was often far too consumed by his worry to care what else was going on outside.Â
âI apologize, I know it may have appeared that way but I was actually just thinking...but I am sorry regardless.â
ofwitchismsâ:
SHE WAS HAPPY. Absolutely and positively happy. SHE WAS IN LOVE. Spinning around and around with Vision in her arms and she in his. There wasnât a care in her heart or a thought in her being that anything could go wrong⊠which was quite possibly her problem because then everything went wrong. A woosh, a gush of air, a shot ringing out in the distance⊠Wanda blinked and she were alone. Absolutely and positively alone. Her worst fear. Either losing those she loved or being alone. BOTH. It was both. To be so truly aloneâŠ
Vision was gone as she moved away from his stiff body. âVision?â she cried out, startled by the fact that she now stood in a deserted field of what used to be a party. âVision where are you?â She didnât want to think it but it was as if she knew HEâS GONE. Again. Her powers were on the fritz as if they were shorting out in her body, some kind of circuit. âVISION PLEASE!?â
VISION PLEASE, god it cut through his being like a knife he never knew how possible it was to feel like this until now: to not just have something you cared far about than yourself ripped away but to be unable to stop it...to stop the torture and the screaming..-her pain, NO this couldnât happen. He couldnât let it and yet the moment he tried to reach out she just seemed further away.Â
âI said STOP IT!...I will do whatever you desire just...please.â He almost cried out, as if the pain she was in were hurting him and seeing her in such felt close enough. He didnât wish to know a world without her.Â
master-of-magnetismâ:
âYou look a little old to be trying alcohol for the first time,â Erik commented, overhearing the red man. There were a lot of people at this party, but Erik had definitely noticed Vision. It was almost the same sort of sense he got when he was around a mutant like Colossus or Wolverine. âYour body wouldnât happen to be made out of metal, would it?â
In the instant the man had questioned him, he had turned his body back to human form; it was the illusion that had done it. The way he was forced to watch as she was taken away again...and he remained powerless...in that instant he felt guilt as if a part of him had been ripped away. âMy bodies anatomy matters no longer...-â he added deciding to take another swig from the alcohol.Â
âIt made me powerless to save her.âÂ
bone-affied-cuchulainnâ:
Cu looked up from his beer with a laugh, âIf yaâre stadinâ upright an not needinâ tae hold on ta somethinâ yer not drinkinâ enough.â He said, wisely reaching over and grasping one of the shots being passed around by waitresses and handing it over. âDrink up, red man. Ya got more stages ta experience.â
âWhy do you possibly believe I could wish to drink right now?!â it were as if the man had gone insane, could he not see how powerless Vision felt...how all he could feel was a debilitating mix of anger, grief, sadness...pain. All hitting him at once because he could do nothing as she screamed out.
ofwitchismsâ:
Wanda wasnât really even sure how the word slipped out but she she was enjoying herself far too much to question it. âWhy are you starting to dislike it?â She should know better. Alcohol and Visions donât mix. She was partly unaware that heâd bother with such a thing. Him pointing out her laughter was adorable only made her laugh even more. âStop it. Dance with me?â
One moment he was happily dancing with her and the next it were as if something had entered his system and she was being harmed...and he couldnât...-No, something was holding him back...as if he were weak and frozen to the spot.Â
âStop...-STOP IT.â he demanded, though he were certain in this state it would be virtually useless. âTake me instead?â his words came out at less than a broken whisper.Â
wiccanofwitchâ:
Inhale. Exhale. He sighed, leisurely walking through the city with his eyes aimed up at the clear sky. He needed time alone to think clearly. To clear his mind of distracting thoughts. But ever since his encounter with Wanda, eyes all over the mutant underground transferred their attention to him, whispering words of confusion and malice. All he did was talk to her. And maybe fanboy over her for a mere moment but, he didnât think that would attract unwanted attention.Â
When his line of sight returned to the ground, he stopped in his tracks as he saw the remarkable creation of the android everyone knew as Vision. He remained silent, a smile forming on his lips. He wasnât sure why he was surprised considering Wanda told him he was in their present time. But he was going to meet two Avengers in one week. His inner child was screaming. âNo. Itâs uh fine.â He replied, his hands shifting awkwardly into his pocket to hide his shaky palms.Â
âHelp? I mean, Iâm not dying at the moment but Iâll be sure to give you a call when I am.â He said, mentally facepalming himself for saying something idiotic like that. âVision. Iâm a big fan.â He stated with a small smile, disregarding how creepy that might have sounded if the android in front of him were a random regular person.
A fan, from what he understood that meant some form of admiration for a person, being or idea though Vision wasnât completely educated on the correct way to react to such a thing. So it should have been of little surprise that he found himself pausing for a moment as if studying the very idea before he simply nodded and offered a smile.Â
âThank you...-I understand that is the correct reaction...though forgive me for being rather out of practice; itâs not often that people have openly and happily admitted such things.â And he was even certain now that far more people felt more the opposite of the boy, especially in the way the Team had been painted.Â
