Oemsjhshsjs IM POLISHHHHHHH (Poland is a west slavic country) and actually there is a goddess that i can somewhat associate with Sillad, her name is Marzanna in Polish, More in Lithuanian, Marena in Russian, Mara in ukrainian Morgana in Czech, Slovene and Serbo-Croatian, Morena in Slovak and Macedonian and Mora in Bulgarian,

idk how to explain her but shes based on the idea of death and rebirth of nature, shes associated with the death of winter, rebirth and dreams. Her death in Ancient slavic rites or sum becomes the rebirth of spring godess Kostroma (russian), Vesna or Lada (idk if theres a goddess of spring in Polish culture, i think there is maybe idk)

Also theres like a "ritual" or tradition that when its the first day of spring (or maybe the last day of winter idk i dont remember) we make like a life sized "doll" made of paper or some other things that burn quickly and we basically put her on a stick or sum (with her arms spread like shes crucified) and then we go to a Forest and idk if we sing something or say something but we burn her OR drown her OR burn her AND drown her. I remember when i was little we did that ritual in school one time we went with Marzanna from the school thru the Town and to the Forest and then burned her it was cool the other classes were there too.

And now im thinking of the ice elfs (or humans in general) making dolls of Sillad and then burning or drowning them at the first day of spring and Sillad looking at them terrified.
