If you enjoy Greek Mythology and/or Romance, this is definitely a book for you. Thankfully, the only thing this has in common with Gaiman's works are the Gods. I am the minority that does not enjoy his books but I found Icarus Rising to be an intriguingly and unique way of incorporating Greek Mythology with twenty first century humans. A well researched and beautifully written book. One that will transport you around Europe and teach you mythology whilst 'forcing' you to turn the pages. I am definitely going to buy book 2.

Mr. David Gray is a bit awed by his invitation to an Earl's house party. While everyone makes him feel comfortable, it's Lady Selina who he finds especially welcoming. And attractive. Can these two people find that respect and admiration lead to love?
