i know it's been over 4 years, but would it be possible to add an option to completely hide works containing the blocked tag? that would be fantastic <3

Possible yes. TBH it's been hard to muster up the energy to work on it since programming is also my day job.

But messages like this encourage me to get it back out there, so thank you for asking!

7/7 Bug Status: Disappearance of blacklisted tags on Chrome
