gesugao (ゲス顔): lit “trash/sleaze face”, gesugao is any facial expression that is stylistically warped in a way meant to depict the “evilness” of a character. think tohru adachi from persona 4, or [when she’s having a breakdown] shion sonozaki from the higurashi no naku koro ni manga. gesugao might happen in porn, but it’s more common to see it in a “clean” context, when the character is gloating about how evil they are— another common instance is using gesugao to hint that a character is sexually getting off on committing violence or some other evil deed, while not going as explicit as ahegao.
