Get ready, Tumblr! To celebrate National Poetry Month, Robin Coste Lewis will take over our Tumblr and answer your questions on Thursday, April 28 at 3:00 pm ET (12:00 PT).
Robin’s debut poetry collection, Voyage of the Sable Venus, won the 2015 National Book Award for Poetry. She’ll be here to answer your questions about her career, her writing, and how to make it in the poetry world.
Ask Robin questions here, and she’ll respond to as many of you as she can this Thursday.
Be kind to me or treat me mean. I’ll make the most of it. I’m an extraordinary machine.

violence, a never ending violence against a series of skin-grafts that cannot be lifted from their plastic-wrapped container---this is what I am revolutioning against---I feel the strongest need to lift up those meats that are not spoken for; I compel them to rise up against the insanity of their born and raised and bred and born idealisms of security within plastic-wrap, national, millenial or otherwise: SKIN GRAFTS have rights too (but I’m not sure how many, and I’m not sure we should check).
