Growth (for me)

I used to find comfort in extremism. Always, never. Despair, ecstasy. All the way in or all the way out.

but that’s not true about me anymore. I find peace in the middle now. In the nuance. The in-between.

I feel lost in trying to navigate extremes, while I used to think that was all there was. Now, I feel at ease in understanding there is more than right or wrong, good or bad. There’s so much more than what I can categorize and label and put into boxes. sometimes I miss my boxes though too because they felt simpler
