normalise not telling people witb a picking problem to just "stop picking" or "pick at something else other than your skin! don't you know it can make you bleed?!" yea. I do. and no. I physically CANT pick at something else because it isn't the same as picking at my skin. I will try and then just go back to picking my skin, I can't control it at all and if I could just stop I would've WAYYYYY longer ago.
