“Jaystar stood beside Viperlily, staring at Nettlefrost, Wisteriadusk, Ivoryveil, and Sedgemist. The leader was nervous for this group to leave. Not only was the outcome a total wildcard, he was sending his daughter, and on top of that, their medicine cat. His gaze lingered on each of the chosen cats in turn. They all trusted him enough to walk into the unknown for WindClan and to find their ancestors. For a moment, he didn’t say anything, unwilling to let them leave. With a sigh, he nodded his head, as if a way to console himself. “Thank you all again for being willing to travel such distances for WindClan.” He began quietly. “You’re going farther than any of us have traveled, paths that will certainly try to break you before you reach the mountains.” Blue eyes flickered briefly toward Viperlily, confidence creeping in as he looked at his daughter. “I am confident you will find what WindClan needs. The mountains surely will have a connection point to reach StarClan. They will tell us what the River Territory needs to do.” He was sure of it. They had to be there.”
Recently, Jaystar has sent a group of four WindClan warriors alongside his medicine cat on a journey to the mountains in hopes they can contact StarClan and move there permanently. From left to right, Sedgemist, Nettlefrost, Viperlily, Wisteriadusk, and Ivoryveil have started their adventure and currently trek through The Withering Fields. Hopefully they’ll make it there soon.

In case you’re wondering what TFC has been up to since the last auditions wave, here’s a recap of the previous plot and what has followed:
After starting to receive visions from StarClan, Bramblestar, the current leader of SkyClan, took it upon herself to act as a messenger between StarClan and the living Clans. Although to her it seemed like the obvious thing to do, she faced backlash from some of the other Clans, who worried that she and the visions were the cause of the problems they faced. After one such vision proved directly responsible for ThunderClan panicking and falling ill, they decided to turn their backs on StarClan once and for all. Cloudedstar returned her starcrown and vowed not to follow their ancestors’ guidance anymore. ShadowClan followed her lead, forming an alliance with ThunderClan to oppose SkyClan. Wanting to take advantage of the conflict that was brewing between the Clans, RiverClan’s leader, Swanstar, began meeting with ThunderClan and ShadowClan. However, Bramblestar grew suspicious that Swanstar would betray her, and received a vision urging her to attack RiverClan first. As she faithfully followed StarClan’s orders, a war was official: SkyClan and WindClan against ThunderClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan.
It all came to a head when WindClan discovered that out of desperation, Bramblestar faked one of her visions. They joined the alliance against SkyClan, leaving Bramblestar without any allies. Following a days-long blizzard, a fight in SkyClan’s camp that ended with the death of ShadowClan’s leader, and a solar eclipse, Bramblestar finally lost her faith in StarClan and discovered the truth behind her visions: they weren’t sent by StarClan at all, but rather by the recently-deceased, evil leader of DuskClan, Hawkstar, who had taken control of StarClan. Now, the world is in a state of disarray. With StarClan’s influence gone, the days are short, the weather is unpredictable, and the territory has begun rotting. Although they all rejected Hawkstar’s offer of loyalty to him in return for aid, the leaders of the Clans are left to wonder if perhaps that was the wrong choice…
More information about this can be found in the “Plots” section of our main document!
“Finally, Jaystar spun on Nettlefrost whenever he felt far enough from any borders. ‘You dare snarl in another leader’s face like that? You realize you just shamed WindClan?!’ He growled. ‘Since you cannot hold your tongue, or remain respectful, you not attend another Gathering until I say, you will do the tasks of an apprentice, and you will clean the dirt place.’ Jaystar stepped closer, voice low. ‘You humiliated not only yourself, but WindClan. Let that sink in.’”
During a diplomatic meeting between WindClan and SkyClan’s leader, Bramblestar, Nettlefrost of WindClan lashes out and accuses the leader of trying to drag WindClan into a meaningless war. He takes things too far when he asks how many warriors she’s willing to put to death before realizing this wasn’t StarClan’s will…
After exploding at Bramblestar, Jaystar is forced to give his wayward warrior a severe scolding for daring to speak so disrespectfully to an ally.

First post on tumblr hell yea :3 This animatic features my little punk Nettlefrost The Five Crowns roleplay! This is somewhat of an exaggeration of the scene, the song was just too perfect I couldn’t resist… I also grinded it out in 2 days probably spending like 10 hours total on it LOLLLLL so that’s why it’s messy and kinda bad <33 Jaystar belongs to Apple and Nettlefrost is my special little guy :D
Evening rays of dying sunlight drape over the River Territory, casting the great Whispering Tree in a deep orange glow; as most cats return to their camps and settle down for slumber in their nests, Bramblestar of SkyClan walks the hidden path to the Starlight Hollow, where she intends to sleep among her ancestors.
Bramblestar has been chosen as StarClan’s prophet, receiving their visions of peril to relay to the Clans in the hopes of preventing the predicted harm. She knows that her new role comes with great responsibilities—and she gladly accepts every one, determined to carry out StarClan’s every order.
While Bramblestar’s visions have been helpful so far, tension brews in the other Clans. Cloudedstar is skeptical about StarClan’s decision to choose Bramblestar of all cats to be their voice, Swanstar and Rueblossom are bitter about StarClan’s refusal to acknowledge all the good RiverClan did for the Clans back during DuskClan’s reign of terror, and ShadowClan and WindClan seem ripe to come into physical conflict with one another. But Bramblestar’s visions are focused on something else: a horrifying sickness destined to kill off at least two of the River Territory Clans.
Everyone is working to prevent the sickness through whatever means necessary, including sending a patrol to the mountains to harvest more herbs—but to what ends must they go? How far can they trust Bramblestar’s interpretations of her dreams? Does StarClan care for anyone but SkyClan?
As night falls, many cats prepare themselves for sleep, hoping to awaken in a vision of their own, seeking answers to their myriad of silenced questions.

After the mess that was the latest gathering, Cloudedstar had a lot on her mind, most notably Bramblestar’s vision of sickness. She still couldn’t wrap her mind around why StarClan would send a vision to Bramblestar and not to Sunflowershine. There had to be something going on, she reasoned, whether it was Bramblestar misinterpreting her dreams or Sunflowershine not informing her of something or other… though, Cloudedstar was more inclined to believe that it was Bramblestar’s doing rather than her medicine cat’s. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to double check. Perhaps she’d missed something.
On March 28th, TFC started it's seventh roleplay-wide plot! Over the past few months, SkyClan leader Bramblestar has been receiving mysterious visions from StarClan that predict there to be danger looming over the Clans; her most recent vision foreshadowed a plague soon to befall ThunderClan. ThunderClan leader Cloudedstar has no reason to doubt this vision—all the rest have come true, after all—but she can't help but question why Bramblestar has received news about ThunderClan, not her.
Should she fully trust their word? Is it wrong for her to even ask herself that? Cloudedstar still has a lot more questions, and she's determined to somehow find answers.
If you're interested in reading more about ThunderClan, check out their doc, and stay tuned for more updates on Cloudedstar's faith!
Introducing: The Five Crowns, a Warrior Cats roleplay on Discord!
The Five Crowns, also known as TFC, is a Discord-based roleplay that explores the lives of five Clans as they navigate the world and its dangers. While originally modeled after the five book Clans, the inhabitants of TFC’s River Territory are completely removed from the book series, with their own unique histories, traits, and cultures. The roleplay was established in 2018, but has only recently moved onto Discord full-time; with this move, we’re excited to welcome a whole new group of people into the roleplay! Traverse the shifting alliances and states of the River Territory and join one (or more!) of our five Clans: passive ThunderClan, stubborn ShadowClan, wise WindClan, fierce RiverClan, or traditional SkyClan.
TFC is enabled to thrive by its incredible community, and as such, we make an effort to consider members in every aspect of the roleplay. In fact, we pride ourselves on our elaborate server-wide plots, which are created by the mod team for our members to engage in. These plots offer unique character and event opportunities that allow members to influence the world on a grander scale. That said, much of our roleplay relies on member interactions; we encourage members to forge relationships with one another and build both their characters and our world through their own plots and development plans. In essence, we offer both large- and small-scale development styles!
TFC is an aged 16+, literate roleplay, meaning we require 8+ sentences in each roleplay message. Our activity checks, known as Check-Ins, open from Friday to Sunday every weekend. Don’t have enough time to be roleplaying more than once or twice a week? No problem! We only require 1 to 2 roleplay message(s) to check-in, and have no further activity requirements. We prioritize keeping as much of our community together for as long as possible, and allowing our busier members to still participate in the world we’ve forged together.
Want to see if the roleplay is right for you, or just interested in reading more about our lore? Check out our Main Doc! Here you can find anything and everything related to TFC, such as information on how the roleplay functions, the workings of our world, and an in-depth write-up of all our lore and previous plots. Feel free to ask us any questions you have about this roleplay in our asks!
Interested in joining? Auditions open regularly—keep an eye out!
