There was something so extra about the month of Octoberânot in the festive way as December or as relaxed as July. Antoinette Marie felt the change in the air, a little crisper than it had been only a few days ago just because of the turn of the calendar page. She quickly dusted herself off with her wand, giving a little cough as she stepped out of the grate at the Leaky Cauldron.
Her purse jingled, full of coins clattering against her keys and phone, as she stepped up to the bar. It wasnât lateâafter all, she had the intention to shop. But that didnât mean that she couldnât start her day with a little something to unwind.
âIâll take a butterbeer with a shot of firewhiskey, please.â Antoinette Marie glanced around, feeling generous. After all, her kindness would probably boost her reputation, just a little bitâwho knows if she had come across a fan or not? She pointed at a bystander nearby. âAnd whatever they want to order.â
Lily was enjoying the nice brisk air of October. Her favorite time of year if she was being honest. There was just something entirely thrilling and wonderful about the leaves changing, the pumpkins coming out and just holidays such as Halloween as a whole. It was a little bit silly but Lily absolutely loved Halloween the most. She decided to treat herself to an evening in the Leaky Cauldron, a shot of Firewhiskey and a nice warm Butterbeer on her agenda. She was just sitting herself down when the girl next to her placed an order for herself and her and Lily felt herself blush - only slightly. âOh, thank you.â
She pauses after clearing her throat before turning to the bartender. âIâll have the same actually. It was like she was reading my mind.â she teases before turning once again to the girl. âThank you again, I really appreciate that.â A pause as she pushes some red hair behind her ear. âIâm Lily Luna.â
