IT'S BEEN A WHILE BUT THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME USE THIS HEHE @applllepie
Goro and Ren are walking through the supermarket, and Akechi tries to buy only the essentials and less expensive items out of habit, though he constantly finds himself eyeing all the delicious snacks. Ren notices this and grabs whatever Akechi glances at and throws it in his basket while he's not looking, engaging in clever conversations about the different milk cartons and which he thinks tastes best. Akechi is very surprised when they're at the checkout and Ren throws out a whole bunch of snacks that weren't originally in the basket. Goro is utterly embarrassed by this, grumbling that Ren is sometimes too attentive, but he can't help it, because Akechi is quite a picky eater and Ren would only be happy if Goro ate more.
When Ren and Akechi first moved in together, Ren slept rather poorly. When he lay in Akechi's arms, it was hard not to kick and squeal with joy, not to kiss Akechi over and over again as he watched how peacefully he slept in his arms and how peaceful he looked. But he was also anxious. He kept waking up, checking to see if Goro had left him and if their reunion had been just a dream.
And Akechi notices that Ren isn't getting enough sleep, sees the dark circles under his eyes, how sleepy he looks in the morning, so one day he simply doesn't let Ren get out of bed and hugs him tightly, forcing him to sleep, all the while muttering "Go to sleep already, I'm not going anywhere."
Ren spends a long time consulting with his friends about dating Akechi, appearing confident and declaring that Akechi's heart definitely belongs to Ren because he is so cool, but when he is alone with Akechi and decides to flirt, he confidently says a stupid pick-up line, not noticing that he is stumbling over his words, and in the end, Goro does not even understand what Ren is saying.
Akechi kisses Ren's neck while Ren mumbles nonsense and makes stupid jokes, all the while holding Akechi close and burying his fingers in his hair. Goro has no choice but to bite every time Ren makes a joke that's not funny. And this makes Ren make more and more unfunny jokes.
In the postcanon, Ren infuriates Akechi - not by doing anything wrong, but simply by being too good a partner in every sense. He cares for Goro and loves him so deeply it makes Goro’s heart feel like it’s going to burst; Ren devotes so much attention to him that Akechi can’t even bring himself to doubt that love. On top of that, Ren is devastatingly handsome, and Goro gets angry every time because he simply cannot resist him.
Akechi is lying in bed in the morning, watching tv while Ren is still asleep but when Ren wakes up, he immediately turns toward Akechi and snuggles up to him, murmuring sleepily and planting kisses on Akechi’s temple, then his cheek, his neck, and his shoulder, simply repeating "iloveyouiloveyouiloveyou" even though he hasn't fully woken up or opened his eyes yet. Akechi, of course, turns to Ren and holds him in a tight embrace, exhaling in a relaxed manner and muttering something like "you should at least brush your teeth" though in reality, he would be unhappy if Ren simply got up and went straight to the bathroom, leaving Akechi without his morning kisses.
On February 2nd, Akechi constantly averts his gaze, looking somewhere at the floor or to the side, because he knows that if he looks at Ren, whose eyes are filled with love, longing, and sorrow, he might do something he'll later regret. He wants to kiss him, spend the night with him, finally let Ren's warmth overtake him and envelop him in a cocoon so tight that Akechi never wants to return to the harsh reality.
And he also doesn't want Ren to see the same longing in his eyes, doesn't want Ren to understand what he's really thinking at that moment.
And I'm sure that in the postcanon, Akechi will have the opportunity to wrap himself in Ren's warmth, and Ren will finally be able to rest assured that Goro isn't going anywhere and is hugging him just as tightly.
Ren comes to visit Akechi at the rehabilitation center, bringing him a bunch of food and books; Goro had once mentioned he wasn't particularly fond of the local food and literature and Akechi looks extremely surprised when he sees Ren carrying a bunch of bags and a bouquet of flowers. Then Ren sets the bags down and immediately reaches out to kiss Akechi's face and stroke his hair, causing him to turn away in embarrassment and grumble, but in reality, he's just too pleased and unsure how to react.
The bags contain food prepared by Ren, as well as chopped fruits and vegetables. Akechi will eat every last crumb.
After shuake reunion, Akechi worried that things wouldn't work out and they would eventually break up. He thought Ren might change his mind and say they should remain friends, something Akechi couldn't give Ren because he loved him too much. Meanwhile, even before they started dating, Ren was preoccupied, thinking about their family life and already telling everyone that his heart was taken.
So after their unexpected kiss a few days later, Akechi asks something along the lines of "what's going on between us, Ren?" to which Ren blinks in surprise and shrugs, replying "i thought we'd been dating for a while...?" Akechi suddenly feels like the stupidest person on the planet, but still reaches out to kiss Ren again.

Ren is busy covering Akechi’s neck and shoulders with bites and hickeys when Goro’s phone suddenly starts ringing, he can’t help but answer it, and since Ren is too caught up to pull away, Akechi is forced to take the call, trying to sound serious and composed as he declares that he is currently "very busy."
Akechi, who's just getting used to being freely in love, feels the need to be with Ren as often as possible, to kiss him, to feel his skin against his, and to spend time together in every way possible. He can't shake the feeling that this could be taken away and that he needs to savor it fully.
Akechi misses Ren when he's not with him, but he stubbornly doesn't write to Ren directly about it, though he does, of course, hint at it. Just like he did before. And at one point, Ren writes something like "just write that you miss me and want to see me" and this request confuses Goro, who's clearly not used to admitting it. He wants to brush it off and say that he doesn't really miss Ren, but ultimately realizes he can't deny it, and he's forced to give in and write "yes, I really miss you, just come over, you idiot" After that, Ren will definitely kiss Akechi's face.
Akechi and Ren lie silently in their bed. Goro has already fallen asleep, being very tired, and Ren is just settling down and about to drift off. He hugs Akechi from behind, burying his nose in his shoulder and once again feeling a surge of love for him. But then Goro begins to mumble something in his half-sleep, as Ren's sudden movement has slightly awakened him. Nevertheless, he covers his hand with his own and squeezes it lightly, which only makes Ren happier. He even decides to ask "how much do you love me, Goro?" and Akechi, being very sleepy and soft, mumbles something like "i love you more than anything in the world, just go to sleep..." and Ren hugs Akechi so tightly that he begins to grumble that he can't breathe.
Akechi is reading a book very intently, because there is a very interesting and tense moment happening in it, but right now Ren becomes clingy and tries to get close to Akechi, kissing and hugging him, sticking to him, and when Goro covers his mouth with his hand, without taking his eyes off the book, Ren bites his palm, and then each finger, and when Goro removes his hand, he begins to chew his cheek and bite in every possible way until Akechi finally turns his head in his direction.
Throughout the game, you can see that Ren has quite a few nervous habits. For example, twirling a lock of hair around his finger or tapping his foot on the floor. And I think in the postcanon, Goro observes Ren's body reactions more often than he'd like to admit, as he still has a habit of bottling up his emotions and all that. So, the next time Akechi sees Ren nervously twirling a lock of hair around his finger, Goro grabs his hand and asks him outright what's bothering him, then touches Ren's hair himself, this time in a calming gesture.
A Shuake swap au where Akechi works at Leblanc, but his curry is absolutely terrible. Of course, Sojiro spends a long time teaching him, and Goro technically knows how to make it, but whenever he actually starts cooking curry, something always goes wrong.
Ren convinces him to make some curry for him, and Akechi can't refuse. They're rivals, after all, and refusing would mean admitting defeat. He's certain that this time everything will go perfectly. But when Akechi serves the curry and Ren takes a bite, he struggles to chew and swallow it. Still, he smiles and nods, mumbling something like "what a unique flavor...you clearly have a talent for this..." Obviously, he's being sarcastic.
In the end, Ren has to take off his peacoat, roll up his sleeves, and tie on an apron so he can help Akechi make an actual edible curry. Before they start, however, Ren gently fixes Akechi's hair so it won't get in the way. Goro flinches slightly at the careful, delicate touch, especially because it's the first time he's ever felt skin against skin from Ren. Ren had taken off his gloves for the first time.
