Why Luka is good for Marinette

First, hug our girl. She deserves better. Marinette deserves a love that isn’t intent on breaking her. Loving Adrien has pushed her so far but also so much. She’s done so much for just a bit of his attention and is often humiliated in return. And Adrien still doesn’t love her that way. There’s nothing wrong with Adrien not loving Marinette. He deserves to feel the way that he does or doesn’t and that should be respected. Marinette bending over backwards for him does not entitle her to his reciprocation. But Marinette also does not and should not have to go to such lengths and depths for someone who won’t acknowledge her in that way. She deserves a love that she doesn’t have to break herself for. And Luka provides that love. An undemanding, gentle, giving love that Marinette who gives and gives and gives, should have. Not saying that since Luka is the only other guy who’s interested in her at this point then she should go to him and settle for him. No. It means that the nonjudgmental, undemanding kindness Luka is willingly offering her is something Marinette needs right now after gouging herself open for her friends, her crush, and all of Paris. Someone to be kind to her. That’d why Luka is good for Marinette right now.
