The best FNAF duo
(In honor of the FNAF 2 movie)
do you think they still get to spend the holidays together?
Merry Christmas! :) 🎄❤️
What are your predictions for the FNAF 3 movie? Do you have anything you'd love to see on screen as a fan?
So far I’ve only had ideas about how the movie could end, but I’ll try to share them.
First of all, I’ve never been very fond of Springtrap as a villain himself, so hopefully this movie will make me like him more. I need to see what kind of tools he’s going to use to kill xD and have a lot of screen time too... :')
Regarding Vanessa/Charlotte… I’m really just hoping to see Vanny. Maybe not the full rabbit suit, but at least the killing spree, and how it’s tormenting her. I’ve been thinking that in some way, they will cooperate rather than Charlotte fully taking over; which would mean no full fusion, no useless life-energy drain... just figuring out how to live with two souls. But also learning each other’s secrets and understanding what it’s like to be in someone else’s life. This could be interesting for Charlotte’s development, helping her learn to move on, as well as for Vanessa, allowing her to stop hiding. Then I guess Mike’s role in this movie would be to put an end to that possession as it could deteriorate.
Michael on the other hand, could continue William’s so-called legacy, or actually have a redemption arc. What if when they finally meet again, William tells him how much he despises Michael?
Now, as we all know, FNAF 3 ends with a fire, and so does FFPS. With Henry playing a big role in this one, I NEED and WANT and I am BEGGING for a FFPS ending speech scene. This is the #1 thing I’ve been wanting to come out of these movies, (I will never shut up about it) and I gotta see that shit burning to the ground on the big screen. And give Charlotte her happiest day too.
As for the rest of the characters, I’d like to see a happy ending, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a MCD were to happen. Henry or Mike. But please not Vanessa. It’s not even because she’s my fav, but because she literally avoided death once and then got possessed. girl has been through too much shit to just die and accomplish nothing. Just let her go, bruh. Though Michael getting scooped could be interesting…
So what are your overall thoughts on FNAF 2? What did you like, what did you hate and what are your feelings for FNAF 3? The community is more divisive than when the first movie came out where while not every fan loved the first one, it felt like there was a more "fans loved it but critics hated it" while for FNAF 2, I'm seeing way more mixed feelings. To me, it felt like a one step forward, two steps backwards situation regarding the overall quality but what do you think?
Overall? I'm satisfied with the outcome, but the ending left me divided.
I had personal expectations for this movie but I must say there are a few things that were really unexpected. Avengers assemble?? I thought that was ridiculous, but I understand this is how it is in the books so I shouldn't have been surprised. It was just kinda embarrassing to watch it on screen. And then it got even worse. Scott's writing bro...
Horror-wise, it's definitely a huge step up. Plot-wise... not sure.
I shouldn't have put my hopes too high, especially after the first film but I think it was fun to watch as a fan. I was just terrified I would get the same experience but my theater was so into it, and it was amazing. I just had a rewatch last Saturday and it was way quieter, and I genuinely couldn't stop laughing for the first 30 minutes XD oh man...
Anyways,
What I liked:
The intro sequence, the way the story and horror sets up. It played out really well too me
Mike and Abby's new dynamic. I'm glad they improved
Vanessa's dream sequence. Wished there was more than one tho
The Marionette possession
The voice acting for the Toys
The music!
The humor
The easter eggs
The practical effects, costumes, sets... everything
What I didn't like:
The Toys' screen time/lack of dialogue. Maybe the Withereds too but their sequence was my favorite scene and I think it was fine
Beakless Toy Chica being used for a gag and never again when it could've been terrifying shit to see in the dark
Henry's screen time. And his lack of relevance; yeah that dude was just here for the music box
THE FAZFEST???? ROBBED. Literally 2 minutes long event when it's the very reason why the movie happens in the first place.
Michael Afton's introduction. As expected as it was, it should've been executed more smoothly by giving teases in Vanessa's dream sequence
Classics VS. Toys
Mike and Vanessa's last scene. ik bro is angry but you could've had a more adult conversation
The dialogue. what the fuck
The pacing. Couldn't catch a break
The runtime.
Garrett? Where the FUCK are you
I think FNAF 3 is kinda predictable, but I don't even know why the Schmidts are here anymore. Mike? found who killed this brother. Abby? no longer has ghost friends. So now what?? Just here to rescue Vanessa and prevent Springtrap from killing?
I'm hoping to see the movie start directly after the second one, or a few weeks later. But not a year timeskip, please. Other than that I think it could be the best one of the trilogy.
hiiii! what do you think of the Fourth Closet parallels to the movie canon? and since you're a vanessa truther, what do you think of the theory that she was killed by Circus Baby and is now a hyper realistic robot unaware of being a replacement?
Hello!
Before I speak here, I need to say that I've only read the Silver Eyes trilogy once, so I might be saying some bullshit because I'm too lazy to do proper wiki research lol
So far a lot of stuff from the trilogy has been put into both movies while still correlating with the games + having its own universe. So first thing: it's undeniable that the third movie will use TFC's elements (especially after FNAF 2's ending) but definitely not the main plot points, in my opinion. Because I still can't tell who is supposed to be Charlie/John in the movie universe, and now game Michael has been split into two (even three) different characters 😭 it's really just some mix of the FNAF lore and I love it.
Now here's the thing: I honestly think Circus Baby has no relevance in this current trilogy. Basically, she is just a funtime animatronic like any other and no one's inside. As of now. But she was definitely made for Vanessa, just like Elizabeth in the games. The green eyes? idk seems like a retcon to me. Jim Henson's probably wanted to remain faithful to the design just for the easter egg. Using the blue eyes would've had more implications than the green ones. Right now we are just left to guess.
OOC but if Vanessa really knows about the Sister Location and it's another thing she's hiding, I would dislike this. I hope she doesn't have any secrets left to reveal. I had enough of her dealing with her dad's mess when she clearly wants nothing to do with it lol.
Now, is Vanessa a robot?
Gosh I HOPE NOT.
I REALLY don't.
And I hate to see that it's becoming more likely every day. Let's see:
If you've read the movie novelization, you'd know that Vanessa is seen acting strange around Mike at some point and straight up changes EYE COLORS. That's Scott Cawthon right there. But that's also based off an old draft of the script, so maybe let's no use that book.
At the end of TTO, Charlie gets killed gets trapped a springlock suit, paralleling Vanessa getting possessed in FNAF 2 (I guess?)
Charlie feels pain, emotions, and bleeds; or does she? TSE mentions the blood on Afton body's was fake. Except we don't know if it was really hers. But she is a robot, she can't have real blood can she??
Vanessa on the other hand, gets STABBED, gets SURGERY, and needs a ventilator TO BREATH while in A COMA. If she were to be a robot in this universe, that would be officially the most nonsensical bullshit I'd ever seen. Like come on; Vanessa laying on the operating table, with like, three? Five? surgeons around and not saying a damn thing seeing those fuckass wires and metallic materials?
And now she is possessed, and unlike Abby and Lisa, she doesn't fully fusion with the Marionette. Or should I say it's cut before we see it. She only has black teary eyes. It would be interesting if the twist in this would be Vanessa remaining human-looking while having another evil soul in her, just like Vanny basically. Also, Charlotte leaving a robotic body just to go in another one is dumb.
Read Elizabeth Lail's interview with The Hollywood Reporter, and her theory (because girl knows exactly how that third movie should play out):
So if Mike were to come save her, wouldn't it be like John in TFC? So Charlie would be Vanessa? SO SHE WOULD BE A ROBOT???
Scott, don't go in that direction in the movies, this feels stupidly unrealistic. But honestly I don't remember the last time you depicted something realistic in this franchise.
He will come back. He always does.
