#74: “Dragula” (Jacque/Zack paso doble), Top 14

So my first write up of this is actually hilarious because it was the first time I actually noticed that Zack was a thing. The reason that is hilarious is because it took him doing a vampire themed paso doble to a Rob Zombie song for me to realize that he could possibly be a contender. What the hell was I smoking, lmao. 

I am less forgiving of this than I was to begin with, but it’s still not Zack or Jacque’s fault. I blame Jean Marc and his ridiculous concepts, and the fact that this isn’t a paso doble in any known universe. I think there were about two paso steps in this whole thing, otherwise it’s just jazz in weird costumes. I have no idea why Mary didn’t call this out. 

I also am less forgiving of Jacque’s performance. It took me a while to realize what was stopping me from really getting behind her, and it’s because her performance is always shallow. Whenever she has to be fierce, she gives the same face and keeps it on for the entire dance. Sometimes I believe it more than others, but I dunno, I think it’s something that could use work for her. 

But regardless, this is a vampire themed jazzo doble to a Rob Zombie song, so there’s no way I was putting this higher.

Jazzo doble! Brilliant. XD I don't recall Mary ever calling out a ballroom choreographer for lack of content on this show though. Maybe it's not her thing, but I wish she would. Totally agree with you about Jacque. She'll likely improve on that with more work and life experience, hopefully.

Zach broke Donny's #1 streak on Jokers on Day 61.

I want Hayden to be the returning juror but I have a bad feeling that's it's locked in to be Zach. For me Zach is far more likable than the rest of the BS, but when he returns he'll just be another person eagerly handing Derrick the 500k check.

I think Donny was testing Zach and Zach failed. He was still trying to protect Derrick.

My ideal scenario would be for Victoria to go home this week, just because I don't want a Detonator to have a shot at getting back in. But if Donny wins the Veto I hope he keeps the nominations the same, because I don't have any faith in Frankie. I bet he'll let himself be influenced into backdooring Zach.

Cody tried to express an original thought to Christine but his puppet master shut him down real quick. XD

I'd rather not have Donny stay this week though. That's just torture for him. Let him be in a nice house and in the company of people whom he likes (and who probably like him back).

The only way I'd want him to stay is if Julie announces on Thursday that the coup d'etat is going into play and America will vote on who gets it. (Watch Frankie get it anyway LMAO).

Ok nope, spoke too soon. Derrick still wants Donny out, he's going to sequester on Thursday.

My only hope is that Donny blows up Derrick's game live on national television before he walks out the front door.

But watch Derrick ruin everything anyway by Thursday. That's the only constant in this game that I rely on. XD

My fantasy pre-eviction vote speech

I love Donny. He's my favorite house guest this season. He's the only one I could ever really root for because the others just really suck, whether in personality, game play, or both.

But my problem with Donny is that he's too nice, and that he's too afraid to make any moves even when he knows exactly what is going on in the house, even when he's against the wall and he has nothing to lose.

This week he's for sure going home. But I'll bet his eviction speech will just consist of "I had a great time, I love you all, bless your hearts and thnks fr the mmrs" and out the door he goes.

If it were me, my eviction day speech would be:

If you keep trusting him, if you keep believing that he has your back and he'll take you to the final 2, think again. If you don't get him out next week, you'll lose your chance at that $500,000. But if you're ready to play for first place, then vote to keep me. I can help you get there. I can help you take him out. If you're ready to stop being Derrick's pawn and start playing the game for yourself, then vote to keep me in."

Boom. Nothing to lose.

Donny's game is fucked, whether or not they go through with the TA task. He will go out next week, if not then surely the succeeding weeks. Derrick's control over the house will hold at least until F4. If he gets Hayden out before then, he's a lock to win. If not, Hayden has a chance but only if he keeps winning either HOH or veto every week. Congratulations Derrick, you completely deserve the 500k.
