Interview with Andrew Scott in the daily telegraph.
Why would he be filming for series 3? Moriarty did blow his own brains out?
I’m guessing it means Sherlock or John will keep seeing him. As sort of flashbacks or something.
And this totally works with everyone insisting that he’s dead, right? Flashbacks. I am 100% with flashbacks if it means we get to see more brilliant Moriarty.
The police are treating Sherlock roughly, as if they just caught him in the act. They don’t need to handcuff him, because he intends to go with them willingly. He put on his scarf and his coat; he intends to go quietly. But they cuff him and haul him out anyway, with contempt. That is more than John can bear. It’s unjust.
John wants to see a warrant, for one. At least a warrant. He demands that they treat Sherlock with respect. After everything Sherlock has done for them: all the cases he’s solved for free, after all the good he’s done, this is how they treat him, in the end. The way they wing him around so that he stumbles; I wonder if that’s the point where John starts to seriously lose his temper. Sherlock is a strange creature, but he is, if nothing else, dignified, and the police are not allowing him any dignity at all. They are deliberately humiliating him.
Given John’s fundamentally moral nature, his inclination to defend the people he loves at any cost, the injustice of this arrest, and the willful humiliation of someone he admires while he is helpess to prevent it, it’s no wonder he ends up resorting to righteous violence.
Car Troubles
In these types of dreams you are usually in or near a car or some other type of vehicle which is out of control or has other problems that seem insurmountable. For example, the brakes may have failed, you may have lost control of the steering, or be heading over a cliff or crashing. You can either be the driver or the passenger. This is a very common type of nightmare and it occurs in all people – not just those who can drive. This dream usually means that you are feeling powerless over something in your life – or that you are heading for a crash (metaphorically speaking).
Faulty Machinery
In the faulty machinery dream you are trying to operate mechanical equipment which either fails to work, or fails to work in the way that you expect it to. The vast majority of these dreams involve a telephone – either trouble dialing, losing a connection, or dialing a wrong number. It can involve a lost Internet connection, or something manual like a jammed or broken machine. This dream often means that you feel you are losing touch with reality, or that a part of your body or mind is not functioning as it should. It can also occur when you are feeling anxious about making a connection with another person in real life.
Lost or Trapped
Dreaming about being lost is very common and will usually occur when you are having conflict in deciding how to react in a situation in real life. In the dream you are trying to find your way out of an area – such as a forest, city streets, a large building, or other maze-like structure. Another way this dream plays out involves you being trapped, buried alive, caught in a web, or unable to move for some other reason. This is often accompanied by a feeling of terror. This dream usually means that you are trapped in real life – unable to make the right choice.
I used to write poems all the time back in high school and college, but once I got to my final year, I pretty much stopped. I don't know why. I had some people tell me to write novels, and I guess I got involved with trying to do that. But I wrote one just a few minutes ago. You can read it if you want.
Thoughts
I was in the shower when it happened.
I was letting the course of the water
flow down over my head,
bouncing off the different curves of my body.
I was a waterfall.
It had been light when I went in,
but it’s dark now. Fitting.
And just as these thoughts
came to me, that was when it happened.
I smelled smoke.
My eyes opened and all
I could see was black and white.
Like an old movie,
but without the people
and the shapes.
I thought I heard old music
as I looked down and saw
my body smoldering.
The smoke filled my nose
and I realized I wasn’t on fire,
I was fire.
My skin wasn’t being burned,
but I was burning.
The color came back suddenly and
the orange and
yellow and
red and
blue and
white
of the fire kept going.
The water had ceased by that point;
having long ago abandoned
its honor and commitment to safety.
I can’t say how long this continued.
It could have been a minute;
it could have been
forever.

Because he's pretty much a jerk. His most recent descent into jerkiness was when he deemed it appropriate to make fun of the way Lucy Liu looks and call her a dog when asked if he's seen Elementary.
