100 Baby Household Update

Well, my first update is that I’ve decided this is no longer going to be a 100 Baby Challenge. There’s just no way I’m would be able to keep up with that many spares in a rotational neighborhood, even if I wanted to. There’s still going to be more kids and more drama in my founder Annabelle’s life, just...nowhere near as much.

Alistair woke up from his nap and immediately tormented snuggled one of the kitties. Way to go, kiddo.

LATER HE LET HIMSELF OUT OF HIS CRIB. WHAT THE...YOU LITTLE PUNK.

Look at how pleased with himself he is. No doubt his Uncle Emil the professional bank robber would approve of this little jailbreak.

Uh-oh, a little brother or sister is on the way!

Hahaha, I completely forgot to take pictures of mama and baby, but Annabelle had a little girl she named Brielle!

Emil & Jessica Davisen Household Update

Things are pretty ho-hum at Emil & Jessica’s house. Both parents working while raising 3 kids is no joke! Jessica is saying NO to any more babymaking, so now it’s time to sit back and watch the youngsters grow up.

Speaking of growing up, Alberta aged up into a child with zero fanfare because ;skglsfksd; I had forgotten in my hiatus she was that close to her birthday. Even though Sims 2 doesn’t have the sad moodlet to add to my guilt, I still feel bad for missing her birthday.

Jessica went on a hike and wandered through a patch of poison ivy. That is definitely a poison ivy face.

Legacy Challenge Update Part 2

The next evening, Ella was about to call up Everett for date #2 when another handsome gentleman quite literally swept her off her feet~

Hello there, Mr. Big! Or as Ella knows him, Carl!

Is it cheating if my Legacy founder marries the rich NPC? Stroke of dumb luck that they have 2-bolt chemistry.

He serenaded her in the karaoke booth~

And then they used the photo booth for what everyone in town knows it’s really for *wink*, earning a hearty smack from Mrs. Crumplebottom.

This all happened totally out of nowhere thanks to dumb luck and ACR. Ella was literally dialing Everett’s number on her phone when she spotted Carl on the street corner. Then the troublemakers headed for the photo booth, and that was that.

Ella’s not quite ready to give up on Everett just yet, though. Knowing she’s going to have to make a decision, she’s going to spend one more evening with each of them to see who she likes better. At home. Where there’s an innocent double bed...

Yeah for real I’m going to have her Woohoo both of them and if she gets pregnant marry whoever’s the baby daddy! Surprise paternity drama ahead!!

Legacy Challenge Update

Ella is single and ready to mingle! Her job is hardly paying the bills, but her schedule allows her plenty of free time to hit up the town nightlife.

A handsome young man named Everett caught her eye~

Crumplebottom was around, but she was too busy yelling at some other guy for the public indecency of walking around in a swimsuit to also scold these two getting cozy in the hot tub.

Later that same evening, after Ella said goodnight to Everett and put in some time working on her first novel...

The ONE TIME I forget to put a burglar alarm in the house and she has to call the friggin’ cops herself.... (Honestly though it’s probably because she couldn’t afford it, this being a legacy challenge and all.)

First post in like...a year. Wow.

And it might be a year before the next one, because life is insane right now. It’s only due to the holiday weekend that I’ve gotten to take a breath, and starting tomorrow it’s right back to the 70 hour weeks my work life has become. (Although technically this week it’ll only be 56 hours because of the holiday? Hallelujah.)

Anyway, here’s what’s happening with my Sim families, so that sometime in the next century I get to pick up the game again, I’ll have some idea what’s going on.

At the Summerfeldt (spares) household, Johannes & Phoebe were feeling both bi and curious in the hot tub. I should really try to remember to get both of them properly married to their spouses before they’re elders. orz

Jonathan looked oddly calm for being electrocuted.

Even his skeleton looks like it’s smiling?

Now that’s more like it. That is the resigned face of someone who’s learned the hard way just to call the repairman instead of trying to fix the computer himself.

Things aren’t going much better for Damien. Toby Bruenig just seems to have it out for him! Damien managed to get in a few good shoves, but he’s going to have to start pumping iron if he ever wants to try taking this punk in a full-on brawl.

Announcement~

Sorry for my unexplained absence this week! Instead of playing Sims I’ve been streaming .hack//G.U. Last Recode with my boyfriend, which is a brand-new PS4 epilogue chapter to the .hack//G.U. series released on PS2 in the mid-2000s. ^^;;

The game isn’t even out in English yet, so we streamed the Japanese version and live-translated as we went, which was a lot of fun.

I’ll be back with Sims stuff over the weekend! Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

When he got home, Damien told his parents what happened, and they had very different reactions:

Jonathan encouraged him to try to not lose his temper.

While Chastity laughed it off. Great parenting, guys.

That evening Damien went out to Club Dante to hang out, and there he encountered Toby Bruenig, who immediately joy buzzered him.

And made him cry. :(

Determined to stand up for himself against a bully, Damien gave Toby a piece of his mind.

And told him exactly where he could go.

They settled their spat the most entertaining way possible--via a slap fight.

Chastity got promoted, as well, and she and Phoebe celebrated by getting cozy in the hot tub.

Because they don’t do that every day anyway.

Phoebe’s day running her shop consisted of:

1) Selling Aleksander Robbins (baby daddy #2 in my 100 Baby Challenge) a Wendolyn statue

2) Random dudes sitting in her throne

3) College student Frances Moser offering Jonathan a job, which he didn’t take because he’s finally doing a good job and isn’t going to screw it up now. >>

Johannes came home at 4am with a promotion and...what appears to be a glitch, if not a sign of neighborhood corruption?

The friend he brought home from work is a townie child, and I’m pretty sure that’s not supposed to happen.

I’ve run HoodChecker and various Batbox functions, which I don’t think helped. :/

For the time being, Ella had to put thoughts of her love life aside and head to work.

Despite being dead tired from having so much on her mind and not getting a nap during the day, Ella’s work performance was good enough to get her a promotion!

Finally, no more night shifts!!

In the cab home, Ella felt like she could be doing better in her life than DJing in empty clubs and eating dinner alone.

So on a whim she called a matchmaking hotline, and the operator paired her with a brainy Virgo named Everett.

Ella felt her heart beating faster as they talked, and thought that she’d very much like to meet Everett in person.

But first she would have to address things with Leonard.

Pockets flush with cash from her side gigs, Ella treated herself to a nice dinner out of avocado toast roasted lime prawns.

And she didn’t end up wearing her meal this time!

When she was done DJing, Ella thought it would be a great idea to entertain the restaurant patrons with some freestyle rapping.

Brandi Broke approved, but the hostess was like, “Can you please do that somewhere other than my restaurant? Thanks.”

Ella makes funny faces when she raps. She got $50 from Brandi, though!

Since Ella’s still working nights, for lack of anything better to do during the day, she went to work her side hustle as a DJ for some extra cash.

The regular DJ enjoyed getting to take a break.

As the family was getting ready for bed, a massive storm rolled in, and a chance lightning bolt started a spectacular tree fire.

...

Wait a minute...

OH MY GOD. MARMION. WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

Thankfully he just...looked at the fire and went back inside. He’s a weird cat.
