After the Hostel: Verna
Given that Verna had the harrowing experience of dying withing accomplishing any of her dreams, she was not going to waste her resurrection. She wasn't gonna screw around. She immediately hired the fortune teller and paid her $5,000 to meet her perfect match.
Her perfect match happened to be Calvin Rodriguez, a pizza guy.
Thankfully it was $5,000 well spent, because that fortune teller wasn't screwing around either. Sparks flew immediately.
She found herself excitedly telling Sunny all about him.
While they almost never interacted in the Hostel (besides fighting over Blu), the two of them had really become best friends now that they were living on their own.
As previously established, Verna wasn't screwing around. So, she proposed to Calvin on their 3rd date. He said yes.
Verna invited everyone either of them knew over for the wedding (mostly to gloat). Regardless of ulterior motives, they did have a great time, and everyone was happy for her.
They got started on having kids right away.
She wound up having twin boys, who they named Fern and Clover.
Despite rushing into everything, Verna knew what she wanted, and so did Calvin. This was probably why the Fortune Teller felt they'd make such a good match, and she wasn't wrong. Despite their many differences, they were the same in all the right ways to make things work.
On top of 2 kids, Verna also juggled a dog and a parrot. That was ok though, she liked being busy, and she loved caring for things.
When her children turned 1 she made just as big a spectacle out of it as she did her wedding, inviting everyone she knew.
Holding her children in her arms, the nightmare of the Hostel all felt like a distant memory.
And the dream that Verna had clung onto for so, so long, had finally become a reality.
