Akira Kurosawa’s film “Throne of Blood” has what i think is one of the greatest special effects scenes of all time.  For those who don’t know, there isn’t a trick to this they just literally fired arrows at Mifune and had dummy tips with short fat needles on them so they’d stick to him, the video above explains it in detail and it is worth a watch after watching the original scene of course (WARNING IT SPOILS THE END OF THE FILM WHICH IS WORTH A WATCH ON ITS OWN)
