Archer had successfully avoided Finley since their awkward encounter at the pizza shop. He didn’t want to see his ex and be reminded of the pain, and thankfully had no classes with the boy.
He walked down the hall to his class, his eyes focused on his phone. “Oof.” He huffed out, stumbling back as someone knocked into him. He looked up, frowning as he realized who’d been the cause of the accident. “oh. Hi.” He said, eyeing Finley as he put his phone in his pocket. “I guess that’s what I get for walking and texting my mum.” He joked with a slightly forced chuckle.
Finley scratches the back of his neck, forcing a chuckle of his own. “Nah, it’s my own fault. I wasn’t paying attention where I was going.” Finley glances him over, making sure he didn’t accidentally injure him at all. “No harm no foul, yeah?” He asks, continuing to scratches at the back of his neck. “Maybe I could make it up to you? We could grab a bite to eat if you aren’t busy.”
Archer's brow raised as Finley offered for them to go get a bite to eat. He wasn't sure what angle his ex was getting at, but he hoped it was a good one. "I - yeah. Lets do it." He said, his stomach rumbling at the thought of food. He was heading towards the cafeteria anyways, so he didn't have an excuse to get out of it.
