I don’t wanna keep this discussion going but I think some of you underestimate how bad the media attention has gotten the last few months

Take a look at the comments under any of the posts from media outlets showing the Wings celebration after Azzi won the 3-pt contest and you’ll get a glimpse of why both of them are not tryna give the media even more of a reason to post them

Months and months of sexist and homophobic bs from the general public and every one of you would be tryna cut some of the noise too

Every time I remember the Wings lost Marina to their nonsensical Arike prioritisation I shed a tear man

Who would you want Curt to waive? AC and Sims are great vets and they don’t care how much playing time they get they’re still engaged and constantly talking, coaching and cheering for the team. Azzi has benefits a lot having true vets. Sug could possibly be waived but everyone else I would at least try to put in a trade package.

I didn’t strictly mean waives tbh!! I was more so thinking that as teams are starting to shake things up/have spaces available it’s more likely for changes to occur across the league and hoping we get involved in it

Looking at our current roster I don’t see many realistic options for waives either but I’d v much like to see changes

Lan has looked good the last couple of games. She gets deflections that don’t show on the stat sheet and she looks to pass to her guards. When she made that pass to Azzi. I was like Thank you Lan.

This is not a justification just information - BUT I am pretty sure the players get the same ballot as fans which means they only rank their top 4/6 players for back/front court

Her 28th position is just how it averaged out - still wouldn’t be MY opinion but if it’s any comfort, she’s not being *as* overlooked as a ‘28th’ ranking seems

Overall the whole things still v fucked up, especially the media vote for a whole bunch of players tbh

Like would interior defence absolutely have helped? Yes. But there was a way for us to bring this back even despite that I think and ultimately Jose’s rotations lost this one.
