Expectation vs reality of being a doctor

Truth is nobody really prepares you for a pandemy in medical school. I graduated 8 months ago and I've never been this stressed in my life. I want to take my dog to the park, go shopping with my friends, hug my mom.. But I can't, because it's too dangerous. Either way, I'm working almost every day, and I see soooo many people going about their lifes and not caring about what is happening. Please, PLEASE stay home. I want to be able to hug my mom again, and soon. Take this disease seriously (and don't listen to our president) 😞💙

Since the day I knew you’d come to Brazil I’ve been seeing DAYLIGHT. I had no idea of how much I needed this news until I had it and realized that I was having days as bad as CRUEL SUMMER, such as tormented days and little hope of seeing you. It’s crazy to imagine that my dream is coming true. Some people told me you NEED TO CALM DOWN, but it’s hard to keep up the anxiety since I knew about the news. I’ve been to other shows of yours, but I always dreamed of a show here in my country (Brazil) with my friends, You know how IT’S NICE TO HAVE FRIENDS and enjoy a concert with them, after all we will be watching our best friend perform, the one that packs our days and make us so happy - and I THINK S(HE) KNOWS. Speaking about the show, I did a lot of crazy things to be on a show of yours. I went to three of the 1989 world tour and one of the REP tour and it was so sensational. I felt like an MISS AMERICANA behind your dream. Let’s have a friend talk, seriously, I’m waiting THE ARCHER hit THE MAN of my life so we can exchange PAPER RINGS on your show to the sound of LOVER. I’m not asking too much, it could be a LONDON BOY, but it can be a real Brazilian boy, well that was just an outburst from someone who is 26 years old. Getting back to you being the main focus of my post, I keep thinking about a crowded stadium full of swifties showing you all our love. I know we don’t have a CORNELIA STREET here, but you’ll see how Sao Paulo will scream your name. We really want you to feel at home and to feel all our good energy. This is a dream for ME! and I can already imagine you saying “I love Brazil” and seeing the lights of our cell phones and the sound of our “I love u too Taylor. SOON YOU’LL GET this and I’ll have another favorite day of my life, one more in which you’re part of. Not getting to go on the concert was DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS. I’m already imagining myself after the concert hoping you will meet me in the AFTERGLOW. Life is a very funny thing. A few months ago I was sad and missing you, desperately thinking “will ever Taylor do a concert in Brazil? Why won’t she come? There’s thousands of fans here”, and it seemed like that feeling was going to last forever.

When Lover came out I had a friend living is the US and I asked her if she could bring the Deluxe albums for me, which she did. And then, out of thin air, yesterday you decided to announce your first stadium concert in Brazil and I just couldn’t believe it was true. I mean, I think I still haven’t been able to process that information, but it’s true. This is actually going to happen!

And then I finally saw my friend and today I got to hold by little babies, my deluxe editions, which I read all day and enjoyed every little moment of it. They are absolutely gorgeous and I’m so happy you decided to share even more of your life with us.

This all happened in only 2 days. I’m extremely happy about the show, and not only I’m going to see you in my country!!! But I will also do it with my best friends, an amazing group of people that is going to share this dream, all of us together.

We’ll see you in 18th and 19th of July, in São Paulo! Love you so much Tay 💛

I DON' KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I'M FEELING... oh i wish it was 22, we're getting old out here. but still happy, free, confused and lonely in the best way. I celebrated my birthday on the 13th. And this year marks 13 years being a swiftie, literally half of my life. 13 + 13 = 26. And in my 13th year being a swiftie I will finally see her for the very first time (I mean, hopefully, with everything that's going on with corona vírus and all). I waited half of my life to see her. I've been here in every era, every step of the way. And I can't thank her enough cause she helped me become the woman I am today. I'm proud of both os us today. I really couldn't be happier. So thank you @taylorswift for always being my best gift, my best friend, my safety. I love you with all my heart. And I'm pretty sure everything will be alright if you keep me next to you.
