Kaidan looked at her with a smile “I am sure that they are at least half-done maybe they finished" He said with a smile as he went back to looking at the window and he couldn’t help but playing with his wedding ring.

"Yeah maybe," she said, turning to stare back out the window, her thumb rubbing against the blue crystal of her necklace. Once the helicopter landed at the Hong Kong Shatterdome, Nadia was the first one out, staring up at the structure around her. A knot of...she wasn't sure if it was just normal fear or straight-up panic started to form in her stomach as she realized that Twilight Stampede was in there somewhere. Looking back at Kaidan, she waited until he caught up with her before heading to the door.

After lunch on Thursday, Nadia met up with Kaidan and huffed slightly as she remembered some news she got the night before. “Hey Kaidan,” she began, lightly poking him in  the side. “Got some news last night, but you were asleep so I couldn’t tell you till now; Twilight’s already been transferred to Hong Kong so we’re going there instead.” Rubbing the back of her neck she looked up at him and gave him a small smile. “You ready?”

Kaidan smiled as he looked at her and hearing the news as he was in his room.  "Yea I’m ready and that is good news to hear" He said as he take up his  bag that held everything as he put over his shoulder. “It would be good to be at the heart of the resistance. To do some good until just waiting to be told to go home" He said chuckling

"All right let's do this," Nadia said, taking a deep breath before hefting her duffel bag to her shoulder and heading out to the helipad where the helicopter that was going to take them to the Hong Kong Shatterdome was waiting. Once everyone was in the helicopter, buckled in and on the way, Nadia stared out the window, flashing back to the last shore leave she and Aidan had before the drop that killed him. They had gone to a karaoke bar in Los Angeles, and sang Rush songs all night. Taking a deep breath, Nadia started singing softly, the very last song she sang before they'd gone back to the Shatterdome that night. Kaidan nodded his head “I know what you mean, when you have someone in your head for that long all you hear is silence.I had the feeling for two years when I lost piloted the The Normandy. I thought it would be the last time." He said as he than looked at her with a small smile. “I think he would be wanting use to finish this war to honor him and those who had lost there lives. Besides I couldn’t think of a better co-pilot" He said as he looked at him.

"Yeah I know what you mean," Nadia said. Even after three years it was still strange not having her brother in her head anymore. “And you’re right, we need to finish this war for him…for both of them. So their deaths weren’t in vain." Taking a deep breath, she looked back up at Kaidan with a nod. “C’mon let’s see if we can sleep then we can start packing in the morning."

Kaidan nodded his head “Sounds like a plan, I will see you Thursday" He said would leave to go this door as he would need to get ready for this to happen. It was two years as he would never stop loving him as he would smile as he went to take down most of his pictures and he would hold back the tears as he would put them safety as not to crush them. 

Moving to get some sleep as he kept the dogtags that was his lovers on top of his. It made him sleep better that he had something of his.

You're the only one I'm even remotely Drift-compatible enough with, so you'd most likely be my copilot...I mean....if you wanted...or if I wanted, I feel like I'm betraying my brother just thinking about the possibility, y'know?"
