One of the rarest unearthings documented: Sequels to Lord Of The Flies..
1.
The first sequel picks up right where the first book left off. Ralph and his classmates are rescued (SORT OF!).... The rescue plane goes down and Ralph is the only survivor. Throughout this novel, which serves as a very unique and interesting character study for everybody's favorite cast away Ralph finds himself trying to stay strong and not give in to the tears that are begging to show themselves.... For this book in particular I am going to provide you the chapter listing, to really show you how invested we're about to get with this character.
Chapter I: Seriously, again? Chapter II: This isn't so bad. Chapter III: Yes it is. Chapter IV: Am I going to cry? Chapter V: I'm at that point now... Chapter VI: Everything is going to be okay. Chapter VII: I'm seriously going to cry soon. Chapter VIII: Tears for fears Chapter IX: Tears of Joy So essentially the book climaxes when we finally find our main character crying but then this brilliant author throws us a curve ball (3 to be exact)
1. A rescue plane lands to save the day2. Ralph once again cries, but this time... it's tears of joy. 3. The book ends with us wanting more... We don't even see who the rescue team is this time.
Luckily for us, there would soon be another book! 2.
Lord Of The Bi's is an extremely important sequel in this book franchise. We learn Ralph has a character flaw, which in all honesty is incredibly necessary for us to be able to relate to this character we've all come to love and admire. The fact that he's imperfect allows us to feel better about being imperfect ourselves... See, in this sequel, remember that plane that was sent to rescue our hero at the end of Lord Of The Cries? IT WASN'T A RESCUE PLANE! We learn it was actually a plane full of bisexual women hoping to get away from the mundane boring day to day routines they were trapped in and simply unwind! Ralph takes major issue with bisexual girls because he feels like girls should only like boys... That is until he meets Janice, a 46 year old cougar with enough experience to change his outlook.
At the end of this book Ralph convinces the love of his life and the other bisexual women to get back on the plane and return to mainland. The book ends with another huge cliffhanger when Janice spots a beautiful girl working at footlocker while shopping with Ralph and immediately leaves him.
3.
Talk about change of pace! This entire book takes place on the mainland! Newly single Ralph decides rather than sulking and mourning the death of his heart he will finally fulfill his lifelong dream of opening up his own French Fries stand. Throughout the book we act as witness to Ralph's pursuit as he saves money by selling possessions, taking out loans seeking investors. Towards the end of the book he's finally in business but is almost immediately shut down when the mayor of his town gets food poisoning from an XXL Fries order.
4.
In the fourth sequel Ralph is randomly selected to take a mandatory plane ride over several different desert islands. In an effort to escape going he puts on a different disguise each and every time the people in charge show up with a limo to pick him up. This book truly showcased Ralph's cunning ability to outwit others but unfortunately at the end of the book he runs out of money to buy new disguises and is forced to go. If that wasn't bad enough the plane crashes on one of the islands leaving him once again stranded, a sole survivor.
5.
Arguably the most emotional book in the series... In this book Ralph's seclusion drives him into heavy depression as he starts asking several questions that begin with the anxiety fueled word "Why"... "Why have I been stranded on an Island not once, not twice but three times...?" "Why did my bisexual cougar lover leave me at the drop of a hat?" "Why can I not run a successful business?" These are just a few of the Why's Ralph asks himself. The book ends with his unfortunate suicide, leaving readers to wonder if that's the last we'll ever hear of this book series again.
6.
In the last book of this series during a freak lightning storm a bolt of lightning strikes Ralph's dead body causing him to rise from the dead, a zombie without any humans to infect. Deep down the Zombie is still Ralph though and in true Ralph fashion he adapts and makes the most out of his unusual situation. It ends with Ralph infecting a pig and realizing just because he can't bite and infect humans that doesn't mean animals are not an option.
