Lucio is scared of showing actual vulnerability because he doesn't believe people will like him if he's not at his best 😭. So he has to fake being fine to be 'loved.'

The scene after the Lazaret pulls my heart string because Lucio implies he needs time for himself and think a little before going back to the happy-go-lucky, reckless Lucio everyone expects.

Lucio is way less stupid than he shows to be. He pretends to not see the warning signs and does his best to ignore them.

The Winter Solstice side story opened my mind to Kiyo (OC) and Muriel dynamics. Both are quiet and gentle introverts that like animals. While Kiyo's type leans more towards assertive people, he finds Muriel's calm care for animals. . . moe.

"You're and I'm cute so we would make a cute couple!" 😂

Around Muriel, Kiyo becomes more assertive in starting conversations. I guess they could fall in love in a less action-packed story that is Muriel's route where they end up living in the forest having plenty of animal neighbors. Super domestic, maybe cottagore eventually 🤔.

I'm curious of players' emotional experience and thoughts who chose Lucio as their first route to play, because there's so much to learn in each route about him, such as his negative and destructive attributes through the eyes of other love interests. I still wholeheartedly empathize with people that do not want to through Lucio's route after playing any other route.

The beginning of Lucio's route always "rocks my boat" because neither the Apprentice nor Lucio has an opinion of one another. Thus, there's none of that jealousy from Nadia's route, or the other feelings and opinions/views Lucio has of the Apprentice in the routes where they oppose each other. It's a clean slate where these two people haven't clashed over and over, each fighting for their own futures and lives.

It also presents the idea that if MC, or any magic user that either put their biases against this [insert any of the things Lucio caused that made Vesuvia as a whole suffer, or a particular love interest] and tried to get answer from the ghost itself then maybe Lucio wouldn't have been a pain in the ass in the other routes (except one). I think this ties to Lucio's theme of "second chances" and "changing for the better" (not sure of the word at the moment). Because everyone hated him, no one investigated the matter further, or they did not care to learn what actually happened to him.

My finger slipped and started drafting another Lucio analysis. There's so much to write about him! This one's about applying the recently learned social concept of The Ideal Victim and how Lucio, despite being a victim, is not granted such status at a societal level when he passed away.
