{ Ruined Easter } - @northland-wonders
A bellow of a laugh, was the reply the elder guardian had. Oh man, how he almost wished he was there to see it. “You know. One time I insulted his chocolate, and that nearly was the end of me!” North shook his head, laughing still, his body shaking with it. That Pooka, he had to admit, had a bit of feisty anger to him. You didn’t want to get on his bad side.
“I wonder how long he will be angry.”North mumbled, after calming down a bit. He grinned towards the other, outstretching his arms. “Welcome to the North Pole!”
Jack canted his head at the memory that was being told, eyebrows furrowing together. Who got infuriated to threaten murder over something as miscellaneous as chocolate? Geez, he must have really angered the wrong person. The winter spirit almost felt himself begin to fear meeting the bunny again, wondering if he could even die.Â
"Hopefully not long," Jack whispered in response. If he risked being buried as soon as he stepped into a warmer climate, he wasn't going out for a while. He flinched when North welcomed him, a bright smile drawing itself on his face. "Thanks."

North patted jack on the back, hoping to give some sort of comfort for him. “Yes the bright Spring Season of April. So….how mad was he?” He couldn’t help himself from being curious. Bunny did always hate others interfering with his big day. “You choose a good place to visit, if that Pooka is after you. Hates the cold!”
Maybe he should have taken note of the increased warmth before unleashing the blizzard. Oh well, too late to take it back now. Bunny would have to live with the frozen land for the time. "Oh geez, he was furious. He was in my face, just lecturing me and I just sort of ran off," Jack answered, leaning against his staff. He almost questioned what a Pooka was exactly, but waved it off and grinned. "Figures."
{ Ruined Easter } - @northland-wonders
North stared at him for a long moment, then proceeded to crack up into a fit of booming laughter. “You mean…You had no Idea it was Easter!?” Oh wow that was a new one for the Guardian. He supposed it was that since they were pretty aware of each of the others responsibilities as guardians, Him and the others never missed a Holiday. A quick slap on the knee and a small dust of the elbow, north composed himself back together.
“You know it is April yes?” He looked over at the young man curiously. He must have surely known! Right? He ushered some of the Yetis away who had grown daring as to move closer. Not quite sure how to feel about the person in their workshop now, they gave out a few displeased and confused grunts.
At the sudden outburst, Jack flinched in surprise, blinking in confusion. "No..." he answered slowly, creasing his eyebrows. Was it that funny that he had no idea what the date was? It wasn't as if he had a permanent residency to have a calendar or anything that could keep track of the days. Oh well, at least it hadn't happened in the past, lucky him. Might as well not start a grudge too early in the game, right?
"... It is?" Jack inquired, genuinely baffled. Sheesh, he thought it was February! The months flew by nowadays after just messing around for an entire century. He rubbed his temples and hung his head, attempting to hide the bright blue blush that had decided this was the opportune moment to appear.Â
{ Ruined Easter } - @northland-wonders
North walked through the workshop, gathering a couple of Yetis with him. The door opened with a creak, North looking around for the other one, smiling when he saw him. “How do you do? Come in! Come in!” He lead the other into the workshop and over to a table.
“So I’m going to take a wild guess here and say that you were the one that caused the blizzards on this wonderful Easter?” He laughed a bit.
Once the door opened, Jack craned his neck to look North in the face. Geez, he was taller than him by a foot, maybe even more! Taking note of the yetis, he couldn't help but sort of stare. At the invitation, the winter spirit grinned and bound inside, bringing a small bout of chilly wind inside with him. Hopefully no one minded, what with him being a guest and all.
At being pointed out, Jack rubbed the back of his neck and gave an awkward chuckle. "I didn't actually figure out it was Easter until the Easter Bunny began to lecture me and ask why I did it."
{ Ruined Easter } - @northland-wonders
North looked around with a slight quirk in his eyebrow. No answer, was the other one playing with him or something? It was around that time he heard the distinct crack of ice on one of the windows. A grin appeared on his face, turning towards the noise, reading the words that were scratched there.
Nodding the elder guardian motioned towards the office door. Figuring that it might not be enough to get his point across, he grabbed a piece of paper with pen. The scribbling echoing off the quiet room’s walls. He placed the paper above the frost covered window. Scrawled on it were the words “ENTRANCE” and with a turn, North walked out of the office to meet his friend.
Jack waited patiently for a response. He even rubbed off part of the frost with his elbow, hopping that would clear it for a good few minutes. It worked, a grin on his face before it was wiped away. Was North saying he was leaving the office? Was he going to be ignored? ... His heart dropped and a saddened expression appeared on his face. Almost immediately, the smile returned with the note.
"Entrance..." he mumbled, giving a nod. Oh, this was going to be great! Hopping off the window, he swooped down towards the entrance to the large structure. Landing, Jack rocked on his heels as he awaited North to come out and allow him to come inside.

The Yetis, who were continuing their toys, stopped to shiver with a slight at the temperature change. It was an absurd change, one that brought a bit of warning with it. Some even looked around, looked at the ice covering the windows. However they were so busy, they had no time for. So they continued their toy making, choosing to suffer through the cold for a bit. North would catch on soon anyways.
The elder guardian, still working hard on a checklist he had made up, made no sign of acknowledgement to the sudden change. His orders still ushering from his lips as he attempted to get everything into order. It took one of the Yetis mentioning it to him for North to even look up. “Ice on the outer windows? How strange.” He gazed around curiously. “Did the blizzard even hit here?”
He laughed it off, shrugging. “Thankfully we are inside, yes? I will be in office.” He quickly walked back, closing the door lightly. Looking up at his surroundings North smirked. “Jack? You should know not to mess with workshop.”
Once his job was done, Jack returned to pressing his window against the glass. The sound of work and toys and orders once again rang out, nothing too interesting able to be heard. Now that he thought about it, would they even feel the temperature change? He pondered that for a moment before returning to his eavesdropping.
Catching that North was heading to his office, Jack let loose another bright grin. Drifting towards the office windows, he floated a few feet away as to not freeze over the windows. Once North was inside, he waved, not able to hear any of what the older man was saying.Â
Sitting cross-legged, he gestured to the workshop. Realizing that probably wouldn't get his point across, he froze over the windows and began to write. Eventually, his words spelled out a simple request. "May I come in?"
{ Ruined Easter } - @northland-wonders
North moved around, hollering out things to the Yetis who were busily working on the toys. The colorful items flying about haphazardly. Yes this years Christmas was going to be wonderful. Information about a newish band that was taking the United States by storm was causing memorabilia to be in high demand. It made the elder one laugh a bit, Just like the Beetles.
“Lets keep the records in safe place.” He consoled with the head Yeti, whom nodded before walking away with a pile of black vinyl. Another Yeti took his place, grunting out a few words to the guardian that was met with a booming laugh.
“Blizzards on Easter? Bunny must be very upset!” North chuckled the imaging of a seething Bunny was just too funny to not laugh at. He would have to remind him of this for years after this. “I wonder if it was from that Ice person. You know. One that rumors talked about!” he clapped the Yeti on the back lightly, laughing still.
He stood there, ear pressed against the window. Jack wanted to listen to what they were saying, only managing to hear faint noises of chatter and whatever noises the toys made. His attention was officially caught when he faintly heard a few words. He managed to make out blizzards, Easter, and even ice. A grin spread across the winter spirit's face and he jumped, wind carrying him to a lower level.Â
Glancing towards the windows, Jack resolved to make himself noticed by the jolly man. Landing on the window sills, he gracefully slid along the wall, staff gliding across the glass as he went. Soon enough, all of the windows on the lower level were frosted over, the pearly white grin remaining excited on his face.
This was sure to catch North's attention! If it didn't... well, Jack would find another way for the bearded man to notice him.

He laughed, snow whirling all around him. It wasn't a harsh snowfall, definitely not. However, it was certainly enough for kids to refuse to go hunting for eggs out in the current weather. Then again, he wasn't in the times and he had no clue as to what the occasion was.Â
Hearing a string of ranting, Jack whipped around to be met with a rather agitated Easter Bunny. Words were flung at him, mostly questioning what he just did and why. He blinked, glancing side to side with a look of confusion. Was it Easter already? He had just...
Brushing off the thought, he gave the rabbit a cheeky grin. Revenge for the transition of the seasons so he couldn't do anything for a long while? That would be his made-up reason if he ever needed an excuse. But refusing to give Bunny a straight answer, Jack called the wind and zoomed off.
Eventually, he managed to wind up at none other than North's workshop. Blinking, he wandered around the roof, curious. Spotting a rather large line of windows, he dropped down to them and peered inside. He got a few glimpses of the colorful indoors before frost blocked his view. Jack furrowed his eyebrows, deciding to remain where he was.
*A girl is playing Romeo and Cinderella on her mahogany violin in the forest around some horses.*
It had been some time since Jack had been in the forest around Burgess. Gently settling on a branch, he heard the violin music travel through the wind. Perking up, he hopped to another branch, closer to the music. Noticing the horses and girl, he sat himself down, legs gently swinging as he shut his eyes.

She was a little shocked at how he had frozen the water as if it were nothing, glancing over at it curiously. Emma kept from saying anything, though, wondering if she should go get him another glass. She the idea off, standing up to go check on the soup. Stirring it and making sure that none of it was sticking to the bottom of the pot, she poured some into two bowls and brought them over, setting them down.
Looking up at him, she bit her lip. Would it be too hot for him? “You can let it cool if you want…” She told him, not sure how the whole winter-spirit situation worked. Was the room too hot for him, too? She quickly walked over to one of the windows, opening it a bit so that the room would stick to a warm, as opposed to hot, temperature.
Of course, she couldn’t let the fire die because they needed to keep the coals alive for cooking, but being a little cold wouldn’t hurt. Emma would just go fetch a cloak or something if it was ever necessary.
“Well, it’d surely be much easier to hide the eggs if there was snow, right?” Emma countered, laughing a bit with him. Though, it would make the children cold. Frozen fingers were never fun, and they simply didn’t have the resources to risk sickness during the winter. “But I supposed it wouldn’t be, in the end…”
Jack watched Emma curiously as she mixed the soup, swinging his feet around. Geez, he was shorter than half the people around Burgess! He wished he could measure, but there wasn't much he could do about that. It was almost embarrassing though, watching girls be taller than him on occasions. His face sunk under his arms in slight embarrassment, grumbling under his breath.
He lifted his head to continue observing her, glancing towards the soup. His fingers sat on the outside of the bowl, flinching backwards once he felt the heat. It was startling and he almost fell backwards. Jack stared at the food, pushing it away for a moment. "I think I'll let it cool down first," he answered with a sheepish grin, hoping he hadn't scared her with his sudden reaction.
A cool breeze brushed in and Jack's shoulder became less tense as he sat up straight, smiling impishly. Maybe he could make a blizzard for Easter since Emma almost suggested the idea. "Definitely!" he agreed energetically. Of course, he wouldn't, but it was still a fun prompt to toy with if the children ever get something that can keep their hands warm.
"Maybe some time in the future then?"

Tooth watched him curiously, her violet eyes gleaming. The last time they had been alone together was after Pitch had stolen her fairies and the teeth - before that, she had wondered if something had happened to keep him from visiting her. Three hundred years earlier, when she’d first heard that Jackson Overland was gone and replaced by Jack Frost, she had hoped he would come find her. She had thought they’d become friends.Â
But the years flew by without a word, and Tooth slowly began to fear that he didn’t want to see her. She had never imagined that he didn’t remember her, and the conversation they’d shared in the woods, all those years ago. That was the only time they’d had a moment to simply talk to one another, with no other worries.Â
“It definitely has been a while,” she agreed, hovering closer to him, a gentle smile at her lips. “Better late than never, right?”Â
The winter spirit mused to himself, remembering special little moments they had shared. There had been the time back at Tooth Palace (sort of), then in Jamie's bedroom, the hug on the lake once everything was said and done... It brought a warm smile to his face, adding on one final memory to the pile. The day they had spoken in the woods before she left, making another visit before he went crashing into freezing water.
It was almost painful to remember that he forgot her. After centuries, she had been the only one to reconnect with. After all, Jack wasn't able to see ghosts of his past, as much as he would love to sometimes. Having at least one friend from his human years was enough to put a smile right back onto his face. He almost pulled her into a hug as a better way to show how much he missed her, but he managed to refrain.
He laughed in response, giving a nonchalant shrug and a smile. "We have a looooooong time to be late to things," Jack chimed musically.
{ Renewed Memories } - @thememoryqueen
Tooth wasn’t expecting a visitor - but then, she was never really expecting visitors. She’d been up late the night before, painting faces onto the tooth canisters and avoiding sleep, and dark circles were beginning to form beneath her eyes. Still, she moved with excitement, a bubbly energy to her voice as she gave her fairies directions and went about her work.
“Milton, Sector Two, a poor little boy got into a fight at school - make sure to give him an extra quarter.” She turned toward a group of fairies. “There’s some sort of trouble up north with the tooth trolls again. Go take care of it, would you?” As they moved off, she spun around again and spotted a fairy struggling to carry several teeth at once. Tooth’s head feathers spread in surprise, her violet eyes widening and a hand reaching out automatically to help the fairy. “Are these all from the same house?”Â
The voice brought her to a pause. “Jack?” she replied, turning to see the winter spirit floating there. A smile crossed her lips, and she held out her hand so a few of her fairies could take the teeth from her. They hadn’t been alone together since the night Pitch had taken her fairies away from her and they’d had to collect all the teeth themselves, before he’d regained his memories. “Hi,” she greeted pleasantly, floating a bit closer to him. “What brings you here?”Â
He watched her flit about, a small laugh escaping. Jack had seen her energized, but never like this. It was almost endearing and he continued to watch her, tempted to step in and assist any struggling baby teeth. He went against it, wanting to keep the small element of surprise up. Of course, he wasn't very sneaky with addressing her and waiting patiently, but Jack could always pretend.
He smiled once noticed, glancing behind her towards the workers again. Jack sighed lightly, his attention returning to the woman in front of him. "I just thought I would stop by and have a proper conversation. The last time we had one was... maybe 300 years ago? I mean, I guess it wasn't incredibly formal considering, but hey. I can still count it as one~" he joked, hoping to draw out the memory from her.
After all, it was always pleasant to see one old friend at least.
{ Renewed Memories } - @thememoryqueen
He wished this was one of those casual visits. Unfortunately, Jack couldn't write it off as such this time around. His eyebrows furrowed as he landed on top of one of the spires at Tooth Palace, glacier eyes scanning the area. He couldn't remember where she would be for the longest time and he sighed, calling the wind and flying about.
Hearing the chitter of several Baby Teeth, he kept himself aloft nearby. Silently landing after a few minutes, he made his way towards where the noise had come from. Low and behold, it was from a more spherical room that was constructed a nice distance above his head.
With a nearly reluctant twitch of his hand, the winter spirit sailed upwards. Jack floated there for several moments, watching Tooth go about her business before deciding to finally speak up. "... Ms. Tooth Fairy?" he inquired, going with the way the name he had called her upon their first meeting.
{ Realization } - @rainbowtoothfairy
She tilted her head, lowering it slightly to see his eyes.  His smile was forced - perhaps his invisibility had lent him less practice than she at faking smiles, but she could see it strained him to project the image of happiness.  He was so fragile, and she wanted to protect him.  She smiled softly at him, brushing some hair out of his face.  ”Jack…we all have people we miss.”  North - his family.  Sandy - his stars.  Bunny - his race.  She…she missed her own parents so much that it hurt.  ”And now that you have the memory, you should never forget them.  But…but you can’t let the memory of what you had make it hard to love what you have.”  She rested a hand on his cheek. Â
Her head tilted, smiling very softly at him.  ”And you have friends here; friends you can talk to.  You don’t need to be afraid of worrying me.  That’s what friends are for, love.” Â
He locked eyes with her once again, tears threatening to come out again. He felt like a child that had no one, not the winter spirit that brought about snow for everyone. It was almost disheartening to know that he was so broken over this. Jack listened to Tooth, deciding against questioning what she meant by 'we'. Did she mean the rest of the Guardians? He hadn't even thought about what their past held. It was almost selfish, but the others hadn't really been on his mind. It wasn't as if he was a Guardian, so interacting with them was basically a bust in general. Make it hard to love what he had? What did he have other than a century of isolation under his belt? His memories were there too, but...
At the reassurance he had friends, Jack couldn't find any way to respond. It almost hurt to hear that. He finally had someone, but... No, thinking about it wouldn't help. He just nodded, storing away the request he wanted to give.
He didn't have the guts to ask if she could eliminate this entire encounter.
It Is Nothing to Die || Closed RP || arisenfrost
“No, you won’t be alone,” she whispered, letting out a small chuckle and smiling up at him, reaching up to swipe away his tears with her thumb as she had done countless times in his life. “You’ll be with me. And with God. And maybe even your father if he’s up there.”
She didn’t quite know exactly how it was supposed to go when you died. All she understood was that you died and if you were a good Christian who didn’t sin, you went to Heaven, and if you weren’t, you went to Hell. But maybe there was a period between life and Heaven. Maybe her Jackson had waited for her, and now they could go together.
“Your father is probably up there.” Her family would be together again soon. They just needed to watch over Emma until she joined them, and they’d all be together again. That was a wonderful thought. She wanted this end quicker, now. Wanted to die, wanted to go with her son and her husband.Â
He calmed down a touch more once his tears were wiped away. It was a comforting gesture and soon enough, the tears weren't threatening to flow from the ridges of his eyes anymore. "No more loneliness..." Jack whispered to himself, the idea almost too good to be true. Decades of having no one speak with him, decades of being invisible were finally going to be in the past.
In all honesty, he had no idea how to react to death. As far as he knew, he had just been 'born' this way, no life before or death to meddle. How did it truly work for humans? Jack had never seen the spirits of the passed float about Burgess, but... well, he had a fun time in a ghost town. It was so lively and bright. Alas, it had ended far too soon and the winter spirit was left without a companion for another extended period of time. He was terrified about the fate of this woman. Would she be all right once she passed on? Would her afterlife be as fruitful as this one?
He closed his eyes, the snowdrift ending. The entire room was sprinkled with snowflakes, though they melted just as quickly. "I... want to see him," Jack finally said, his tone nearly excited. It was more melancholic, the wait killing him on the inside.
