My name is Ari and I’m from Australia and I love musicals and movies and tv shows and anime and writing and reading and listening to music and singing and drawing and playing instruments and just AAAAA everything that is creative I EAT THAT SHIT UP ♥️

This is my dedicated creative space to do whatever the hell comes to my mind, but probably mostly fanfic related stuff or general fandom stuff!

HAPPY ONE YEAR since I first posted WTSS!!

In my time off from writing I have been wanting to write even more but ya girl has assessments and like.. a job etc lol so I am sorry for not posting BUT just know that I will keep writing!

WTSS has been a great first story as I get my bearings with ao3 and writing as a whole and be welcomed by this amazing and supportive community of readers and other writers!! I’ve had such a great time I wanna keep it up aha!

I have plans for my next fic already so I am super excited to get back into writing and be able to share these stories in my head with everyone :D

Okay here’s the animatic now!! 😈 it took me like literally two weeks of planning and 3 days of nonstop drawing 😩 after this I was gonna work on owed art BUT I LITERALLY GOT BURNOUT WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO START WORKING ON THE LAST FRAMES SOBBING

(Funnily enough, the last frames are the first ones of the animatic. The really, really lazy doodles. Because in all honesty, I have no fucking clue how to draw a wooden fucking horse and I don’t have internet at my house 💥 so I kinda just…got tired and gave up. IM SORRRYYYY SCREAMS) 

But to be honest, this is the first animatic I’ve ever put this much effort into 😭 i usually lose motivation the first 30 minutes I work on something then throw it away. 

I think the reason I got burnout is because I redrew so many scenes LMFAO

Personally every-time I read, I envision Formerly Human’s Polites design cause he looks so soft and ..and….🥞❤️‍🩹 but I’d love to hear your answer if you’d like to share!!!!

yes well in my head he’s quite similar!

I do love his round glasses and overall soft but hardened look (??) idk how to describe lol

I do love when people draw Polites with scars and such, though in my head he has less than your average soldier bc I hc him to be a soldier/medic, and preferring to spend his time helping and healing than outright fighting, unless he’s caught in crossfire so to say, and has to defend himself or those he lov- I mean those around him.

He totally has freckles, idk why but in my head he has always had freckles lol! If I had any proper art skills where I could accurately draw what I envision him to look like, I so would, but honestly most iterations of him are amazing aha

In my head he’s not so much like “buff” but definitely muscular, think more along the lines of like swimmer/sprinter/ice skater build than weightlifting/football/gym rat ykwim?? LMAO

I like to think of WTSS as like an alternate universe, but there will be some crossovers with like backstories and stuff, LLM will be more canon-compliant to Epic (as in it’s not a deaf!Ody fic, and will follow the main events and such)

I should also point out that bc Pol doesn’t have any named parents or anything, I made some OCs aha! Their names are Timon (Pol’s father, name means “to honour” and he is a shipbuilder/carpenter turned soldier) and Thaleia (Pol’s mother, name means “to bloom” and she is a healer and midwife)

And yeah, LLM is more of a Polites life fic, but you KNOW I gotta have some OdyPoli in there bc DUH ahahahah I’m pretty excited for it!

So yeah bc of how the story goes, let’s say WTSS Pol shares the same daddy issues as LLM Pol 🫶
