“Yes.” He had already began to follow although the fact that she was unaware was at least understandable considering the space he had consciously left between the two, one he had no choice but to close. He knew he should speak but really no words came to him, it was a conversation he wasn’t ready for, but one which had to happen regardless. He would be silly just to ignore it, they would at least have to discuss it if they ever hoped to return to their previous friendship. “I”m sorry Nepeta.” He didn’t need to specify, she would know what for.

"Its fin, Equius.. Its not your fault." She says sofly, not daring to look at him. "If anyfin I should be the one saying sorry.." She wasnt ready for this, but she had came anyway. She had just wanted to see him again. Matespites or not.

“Perhaps that would not be wise.” He responded apologetically, his hive was where everything had gone wrong, being with her there again woudl no doubt bring back painful memories, more so then just seeing he. Although he can’t fight off the pang of guilt,l she looks so sad, and whilst he would like to pretend otherwise he knew he was responsible for that. “Perhaps we could go for a walk instead?” He offered as a compromise, maybe if he was careful they could at least still be friends.

"Shore.. Better then nothing, right?" *She gave a  fake smile and looked down alittle, it was very hard to look him in the eye.. She starts walking off into the woods and looks back alittle. "Coming..?"

It had been hard but he was finally beginning to deal with it all, he’d essential had to cut Nepeta out of his life in order to do so. Well really he had cut everyone out, traditionally he wasn’t social but this was a new extreme. he knew it was the best option, he would just avoid her until she moved on, found someone worthy of her and then maybe the two could once again become friends. So maybe it wasn’t the kindest plan, it wasn’t the easiest or the bravest either, that didn’t mean he was doing the wrong thing though. He was coping, and whilst he couldn’t be certain he was sure she was as well. It came as a surprise when a knock on his door interrupted his work, what was more surprising was the one behind it. Despite the time apart his reaction was still the same as it had always been, a fact that he found somewhat worrying. “Hello Miss Leijon”

"H..Hey Equius." She has stopped calling him "Equifish" After what had happened. She felt as if she did it would be painful for her, "Is it alright if I can come inside fur abit...?" She didnt feel right atrout this, but she wanted to talk to someone. Anyone. And Equius was all she could think about
