this is the process from beginning to end I used watercolor and watercolor pencils. This is my first time using water color paint it needs some cleaning up but I will get better at it. It started out as the Kyrie 1’s LETTERMAN’s but then I said screw it and did my own thing. I just wanted to let people see how I started to how I finished with this
So this is the finished product of KD V8’s. Like everything the colors didn’t come out like I wanted but it turned out great. I’m thinking about doing a digital version but I might not who knows haha. Also, here is everything from the beginning sketch to the watercolor. I thought about this idea while at work and I wanted to continue the theme of pop culture and sneakers which I’m still going to do. So stay tuned for more, Enjoy!!
A quick design I did in honor of the Jordan 7 Bordeaux that come out this weekend. I combined a OG Jordan shoe with an OG show I used to watch which was the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This was interesting and brought back a lot of memories.
This has to be one of the most interesting illustrations I’ve done in a while because of the story behind it. When I was running or working out the other day I saw this girl sitting down on a log with a sketchbook on her lap. Like any other artist that caught my attention right away so I approached her. While we were conversing Little did I know she was one of the most interesting people I’ve met in a long time but she was also young and wasn’t an artist…kind of. She had some sketches or portraits in her sketch book but she mostly used it for writing. For now let’s just call her Zoe.
Lately I’ve been in a artistic slump but talking with her which I think only lasted about 30 or 45 minutes it was refreshing to have another person’s take on life. At a young age she had experienced a lot and saw the world differently so in other words she was mature for her age. Well she was more mature than I was at her age I’ll tell you that. We had our brief conversation and we went our separate ways but our brief conversation had such an impact on me. Like any other artist who gets inspired I drew her, I’ll show my sketch and the finished product at the end. I write this to say, you never know what or who will inspire you and it’s also great to get out the house once in a while. Great art is inspired by the people we meet, the places we’ve been, and the choices we make. Anyway, here is the artwork…Enjoy!

I finished this today and it came out great I don't know what else to say about this other than the fact I am proud of how it turned out. I wanted to add words with it but I felt the words wouldn't match with the feel of the piece. I wanted to convey someone trapped in a world of their own. This is why the most dominate aspect, other than the scenery, is the like bubble and the scenery represents the world. Over all I turned out great I love it and I hope you guys do too. Enjoy!!!

I was doing some sketching and found these shoes so I sketched them out. I think they look better than the actually shoes. To be honest I didn't even know anything about these shoes but my drawing came out good in my opinion. Anyway here it is I hope you guys like it. ENJOY!!

This is something I did the other day. This was something quick and I felt like doing for some strange reason. It doesn't feel like I put as much detail into this as previous ones because I felt that it didn't need that much in the end, either that or I got lazy. I'm thinking about doing a cartoon collection where I do all the old cartoons that I like as a kid. I'm thinking of doing a Cartoon Network Collection then a Nick Collection then a Disney and so on and so on. For now here is the Dexter one, so I guess I'll start with the Cartoon Network Collection. Also school starts for me on Monday so I might have a lot of assignments that I might post. Still gonna get into the Graphic Design program so I'll be working on my portfolio this semester.
