Okay so I’m kinda pissed that they banned Countryhumans and country personifications in general. It might sound good at first, but they even banned the fictional ones, which may not even be based on stereotypes at all.
I feel like they just hate the fandom, and that makes me sad because we worked so much to not be seen as racist, and most depictions I’ve seen nowadays are respectful for the most part (except in Stereotypes AUs, which poke fun at the old version of the fandom). It’s not 2020 anymore
Yeah sorry for going on a rant, I feel really pissy that they banned my main fandom but like. I don’t think anyone cares about it :(

I’m loosing my mind over how people ignore it entirely that some people NEED TO ASSIST THEMSELVES TO CREATE ART. It’s like that self stirring cup thing or like the paper cutter thing. It’ll always be useful to someone else!

Re: 3D tracing drama
Why are we, as a community, SO DETERMINED to make something that is meant to be a fun lil thing to make other people happy utter fucking hell for everyone involved. I am genuinely so tired of the same drama in a new hat that just gets recycled every 5-10 years (this is just "REFERENCE BAD" from very early 2010s for those not present online, and then the anti-base/tracing from even EARLIER). You are getting FREE ART from people who like your characters/designs and look up to you, and then y'all are getting mad when its not your way of execution. Artfight is meant to be a GIFT, you are getting and giving GIFTS. If you don't like your gift you got, literally just say 'thank you' and move on. We are not improving the community and celebrating art by just recycling the same 4-something "issues" over and over. (Mary Sue/Cringe OC drama, technique drama, reference drama, not enough 'gifts' for me, etc). I'm not against Artfight having basic rules but please we NEED to move past this.
