In his book « My Shakespeare », Greg Doran wrote about the rehearsal of that scene :

« ... Rosie and Arthur play the scene with the skill of top musicians feeling the pulse, noting all the rhythms and cross rhythms, the tempo, pacing and dynamics, observing all the nuances the text makes available, as if it was a musical score. As they finish the scene, their fellow actors who have been watching break into spontaneous applause. »
