i cannot stop thinking about the line “your son thinks he saw a pair of angels” because martha and jonas finally broke free of their fate of turning into adam and eve and causing so much suffering for everyone by continually triggering the apocalypse and instead become angels who save everyone, sacrificing themselves in the process which is just… the most peaceful ending we could have ever hoped for them
